Rudy Giuliani’s latest attempt to prove that Trump’s the victim of voter fraud included a misquoted reference to ‘My Cousin Vinny’ and a flood of hair dye rolling down his face.
And to think, everyone believed that getting pranked by Borat would be the most embarrassing thing to happen to Rudy Giuliani in 2020. During a November 19 press conference at the RNC headquarters, the president’s personal lawyer went off script while discussing the campaign’s legal battle following the 2020 election, bizarrely quoting a scene from the 1992 film My Cousin Vinny. “Did y’all watch My Cousin Vinny? It’s one of my favorite law movies because he comes from Brooklyn,” Giuliani told gathered reporters. He went on to described a pivotal courtroom scene, in which a witness is questioned about her eyesight.
Yup, that really happened. Watch Rudy Giuliani reference a courtroom scene from the timely 1992 film "My Cousin Vinny." pic.twitter.com/tBis5HDf6k
In the scene, the lawyer (played by Joe Pesci), questions an elderly woman on the stand, who says that she saw the defendants committing a crime 100 yards away from her. She has extremely thick glasses, and the lawyer discovers that she can’t tell how many fingers he’s holding up when just 50 yards away in the courtroom. During the press conference, Giuliani chuckled while explaining that, much like the woman in the movie, the volunteers counting ballots in the 2020 election couldn’t know which ones were “fake” because they allegedly couldn’t see them.
“And then says to her, ‘How many fingers do I got up?’ And she says, ‘Three.’ Well, she was too far away to see it was only two. These people were further away than My Cousin Vinny was from the witness.” Note: in the film, apparently Giuliani’s favorite, the woman indicates that she sees “four” fingers, not three, and the lawyer’s name is Vinny — not My Cousin Vinny. As one person put it on Twitter, “If you’re going to quote the movie, get it right, Nosferatu.”
Rudy Giuliani sweats during a press conference at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, 11/19/20 (AP)
Ironic that Giuliani picked My Cousin Vinny, of all movies, to quote while arguing that Donald Trump had the election stolen from him by supposed voter fraud. When Marisa Tomei won the Oscar in 1993 for her role in the film, a conspiracy theory started that the presenters had read the wrong name. Too bad — she won fair and square — just like Joe Biden. But we digress. As Giuliani continued to spout nonsense, he began sweating profusely. The former NYC mayor‘s black hair dye started dripping in rivulets down the sides of his head and face, streaking under his eyeglasses and pooling on his white shirt collar.
He stopped during the press conference to quickly wipe his face and said, “I feel kinda stupid.” And it doesn’t end there. The person operating the livestream of the press conference for Trump’s official YouTube page apparently didn’t know that they were mic’ed. You can hear them loudly say, “do you see f**king rudy’s hair dye dripping down his face?”
It took Gunnar Gehl two years to create his debut EP, ‘One Second of One Day.’ The rising singer-songwriter revealed the many inspirations that shaped the project along the way, and other fun facts, in an EXCLUSIVE interview!
Gunnar Gehl “really committed” to his singing-songwriting career in 2018, and in just two years, this commitment has birthed his debut EP One Second of One Day. The eight-track project is one you’d turn to while daydreaming — or lamenting — over a certain someone, but Gunnar makes romantic angst fun with his bright vocals that puts him in the same league as pop kings like Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendesat just 19 years old.

While many of the songs on the One Second of One Day EP “come from a place of relationships,” Gunnar EXCLUSIVELY tellsHollywoodLife about how his “most vulnerable” song on the track list was actually not inspired by romance “at all.” He’s not always floating on cloud nine; the talented artist is grounded here on Earth as well, very much aware of the harsh realities people his age are going through in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This inspired Gunnar to launch a livestream campaign between the months of August and October, named after his EP, which was a curation of performances and honest chats about these pandemic hardships with stars like Nessa Barrett (whom Gunnar had an especially memorable conversation with). The singer explains why — and also goes into detail about the many inspirations for his EP’s songs and fun facts about his various new music videos — in an email interview with HollywoodLife below:
HollywoodLife: You started working on your debut EP, One Second Of One Day, two years ago! Can you tell me more about the journey it took to complete this project?
Gunnar: Yeah! So much has happened this last year or so, and the only thing holding me together was music and just the continuation of songwriting. So when we finally were ready to put music out, I was set on picking my favorite from the last two years. A couple songs came from a little songwriting camp I did last December, a couple came from a more recent time, and “Missing Someone” is the oldest song on the project. I actually wrote that song two years ago, and it held such a special place in my heart for so long I knew I had to include it.
HollywoodLife: You show a lot of vulnerability in this EP, since many of the songs are quite romantic. What experiences inspired the tracks on this project?
Gunnar: Haha very observant!!! Yes, a lot of these songs come from a place of relationships and love which of course is a place of vulnerability. There’s a couple songs that come from downs in relationships but also a lot of positivity. One of my favorite “relationship” songs is “Pleasure & Pain” because it plays both sides. It’s that feeling of accepting anything thrown at you, including all the bad just for the moments of good. Although, I think the most vulnerable song on this project is “Good Enough” which doesn’t come from a relationship place at all. This song is about the feeling of not thinking or not knowing if you / what you’re doing is enough. I think this is something that everyone has been through and it’s a real thing that I was going through at the time, so it’s really special to see people connect with it.

HollywoodLife: Is there one song among the One Second of One Day track list that is especially personal, and why?
Gunnar: “Good Enough” for sure. I was just going through it with the label I used to be with and every song I wrote got the same reaction of “keep writing keep writing.” So after months of making music and hearing that, I was just at a breaking point. I walked into this session and had all these emotions built up and just broke down and wrote this song. “It’s time to be honest, I’m anxious just thinking about it, I’m pacing, I’m tired of wondering is this good enough….”
HollywoodLife: Your two most recent music videos, “Missing Someone” and “Not Even In My Dreams,” were both filmed around water. Is there special meaning behind this?
Gunnar: YES THERE IS!!! We recorded both of those videos in Tahoe where we were writing a lot of what will be my debut album. We had some of my favorite songwriters and producers all in a house for about 10 days and we created some of the best music I have ever made…I know we are focusing on the [One Second of One Day] EP but I have to say how excited I am for the next round of music.
HollywoodLife: Do you have any fun or surprising behind-the-scenes stories about one of the songs or music videos from this EP?
Gunnar: We did something really really cool for the “one piece” music video coming out. I can’t say too much other than there are 4 Gunnar’s in one video :)))
HollywoodLife: You were simultaneously wake surfing and mouthing along to the words of your song for the “Missing Someone” music video! Are you an avid surfer?
Gunnar: I surfed a lot growing up, and being in Tahoe wake surfing and being on the water was such a good throwback feeling, we had to make a piece of content around it. “Missing Someone” was kind of the perfect song because it was like I was singing about an old version or hobby.
HollywoodLife: You launched a livestream campaign, named after your debut EP, to help youth struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic. You also invited a number of musical artists to perform and chat with you for the livestream series! What were some standout conversations you’ve had with these guests, and who were they with?
Gunnar: Yes!! The summer series was the absolute best thing we could have done during this time. During Covid, so many people experienced challenges mentally, some that have never really experienced them before, like me. Because of all this going on, I just wanted to give people an outlet to see artists they look up to talk about things they’re going through. There is such a divide with social media because it’s so easy to look at someone and think their life is perfect, so hearing first hand that everyone goes through the same thing was a really special thing. I think one of my favorite episodes was with Nessa Barret talking about the things she battles with. She talked about her struggles with Bipolar 2 and I think it meant a lot for her to tell people the things she deals with. It also was so amazing and important for her audience to see that she goes through things like anybody else. No amount of followers or fame or money can fix what humans deal with internally, so I was really happy that she opened up like that.
HollywoodLife: How has the pandemic personally affected you? Has it changed any of your goals or perspective on life in general?
Gunnar: It’s definitely helped me learn patience on a level I was not on haha. I’ve actually been really fortunate to be as productive as I have during this time with music and the [One Second of One Day] show. Like I said, I had so much music piled up from the last two years I was just focused on getting it out to the world. I’ll tell you the hardest part about this pandemic has been the inability to see fans and perform like we used to. On stage and in that environment is where I feel the most comfortable and “at home,” so I miss that beyond words. I miss hugging and being face to face with everybody.
HollywoodLife: Let’s backtrack a bit, now. When did you first start singing, and when did you get really serious about this path?
Gunnar: I think I really started singing when I was like 14… but it was HORRIBLE ahahah. I was just making music and having fun. It really started to get serious in 2018 when I started to take songwriting into my own and really committed to this. It was later that year when my first tour with Prettymuch happened, and from the first moment of the first show, I knew with complete certainty I would never stop doing this. On stage I felt a comfort that I had never felt anywhere else. After that I spent time just honing in on my sound and writing a bunch of music and practicing non-stop…Now we’re here two years later at the real beginning. 🙂

HollywoodLife: You also play the guitar! How long have you been playing?
Gunnar: I’ve been playing guitar since I was 7! I’ve loved the guitar forever, it will always be a part of me, my music, and my shows.
HollywoodLife: Finally, are there any future projects or performances that you can tease?
Gunnar: Oh yes. 2021 is going to be an exciting year and I couldn’t be happier about the music on the way.. STAY TUNED !!!!!!

Welcome Christmas, come this way! Kylie Jenner and StormiWebster are ready to play! In honor fo the release of the youngest KarJenner’s new KYLIE X GRINCH collection, launching Thursday, November 19, Kylie got into the kitchen with her precious baby girl to whip up a batch of Grinch cupcakes. But dessert wasn’t the sweetest thing on the menu!

Little Stormi, dressed in matching green Grinch pajamas with her mama, squealed with delight as they prepare to make the on-brand Christmas treats. As they started to bake, the two-year-old could be heard telling her mom how much she loved her and how much fun she was having. But as they started to decorate with the signature green icing, Stormi without prompt said to her mom, “You’re so beautiful.”
Yeah, that’s right. This kid is adorable! Overcome by the compliment, Kylie stopped in her tracks to tell her daughter how beautiful she was in return, and give her a playful tickle. Can you stand it?! Our hearts have definitely grown three sizes today. Stormi also told her mom, “I love you so much” — after telling her that she also loves waffles, of course.

The toddler has her little mind blown when she finally gets to take a bite of her yummy cupcake, all decorated with green “Grinch fur,” hearts, and sprinkles. Read: pure sugar. Stormi’s eyes go wide after she eats the frosting, which promptly gets all over her face. “I’m so silly,” she tells a laughing Kylie, with a green tongue and teeth. We can’t wait to see what Santa has in store for the little one this year.

So tragic! Singer Bobby Brown has lost his son Bobby Brown Jr., who was found dead in Los Angeles at the age of 28. We have five things to know about the aspiring musician.
Heartbreak has struck R&B singer Bobby Brown once again, as his son Bobby Brown Jr. has passed away at the age of 28. It comes five years after Bobby’s 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown by the late Whitney Houston died in July 2015. Bobby Jr.’s mom is the 51-year-old “My Prerogative” singer’s ex-girlfriend Kim Ward. Bobby Jr. was Bobbi’s half brother, and he mourned her deeply at the time of her far too young death. Sadly, now BB Jr. is gone too soon as well.
The circumstances surrounding Junior’s death are unclear, but TMZ reports that he was found lifeless at his Los Angeles home on Nov. 17, just 10 days shy of his 29th birthday. Police are allegedly still at the scene. The site also reports that authorities don’t believe foul play was involved. His older half-brother Landon seemed to confirm the tragic news with an Instagram photo showing Bobby Jr. in a prayer position, with the caption, “I love you forever King.” We’ve got five things to know about Bobby Brown Jr.
1. Bobby Brown Jr. was the product of his dad’s romance with longtime girlfriend Kim Ward. Before BB Sr. began dating and later marrying Whitney Houston, he was with girlfriend Kim. They had two children together, a daughter LaPrincia born in 1989 and Bobby Jr. in 1991.
2. Bobby Jr. had six other siblings. In addition to his late half sister Bobbi Kristina and older sister LaPrincia, Bobby leaves an older half brother Landon, who BB Sr. had in 1986 with Melika Williams. BB Sr. has three younger children by wife Alicia, son Cassius Brown, 11, and daughters Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown, 5, and Hendrix Estelle Sheba Brown, 4, who are BB Jr.’s half-siblings.

3. Bobby Jr. was crushed when half-sister Bobbi Kristina died. She was placed in a medically induced coma after being found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub of her Atlanta area home on January 31, 2015, by boyfriend Nick Gordon. Bobbi K ended up with irreversible brain damage and was eventually transferred into hospice care, where she died five months later at age 22. BB Jr. took to Twitter at the time to rage, “People really don’t give a f–k about you unless your relevant, and they don’t love you till your famous or gone. I don’t want these follows,” about how people started following him for updates on BKB. “This is real life for me, this is my life, my sister. Not a f–king trending topic,” he added.
4. Bobby Jr. was an aspiring musician. With a dad being such a talented as singer and dancer, his son naturally wanted to follow in his footsteps. Bobby Jr. dropped the song “Say Something” in Sept. 2020, with a teaser video clip to his Instagram, which you can see above.
5. Bobby was super close with his sister LaPrincia. He appears in photos all over her Instagram page. On Sept. 17, 2018, Bobby Jr. shared a black and white throwback Instagram photo of him and LaPrincia as small children with their mama Kim. In the caption he wrote, “I love this picture so much Happy Birthday La!! Love you so much! @laprinciaxo. And you too momma!”
After a 30-year feud, Janet Hubert — AKA, the first ‘Aunt Viv’ — told Will Smith how he ‘took’ away ‘everything’ from her during the ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ reunion.
After 27 years of not speaking and blasting one another in old interviews, Janet Hubert and Will Smith finally came face-to-face in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion special that aired on HBO Max on Nov. 18. Janet, who is now 64 years old, didn’t sugarcoat how her sour relationship with Will cost her “everything” after she was replaced with a different actress, Daphne Maxwell Reid, to play the iconic role of “Aunt Viv” in Season 4 of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air until the show wrapped in 1996.

Before Janet and Will’s one-on-one chat, though, they both filmed private confessionals. Janet gave more insight into her 30-year feud with Will (who played her nephew on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and revealed what she believes caused their rift. “During that third season, when I got pregnant, there was a lot of things going on in my life and Will’s life as well. There was some friction because I was pregnant,” Janet explained.
“Home life was not good at all. I was no longer laughing, smiling, joking because there were things going on nobody knew about,” she continued. “The cast had no idea what was going on.” Janet also clarified that she was “never fired” and was instead offered a “really bad deal” that she chose not to accept, which would require the actress to film for just two months and two weeks while not being allowed to work anywhere else.
“That meant my salary was cut, I had a new baby and a husband who was out of work. I said no,” Janet explained, although she was “hurt deeply” when the show decided to recast her role instead. In Will’s own confessional, the Gemini Man star admitted he “wasn’t sensitive” to her personal issues and would do things “very differently,” adding, “I can see why I made the set very difficult for Janet.” Then, it was time: Will finally sat down for his highly-anticipated chat with his original Aunt Viv, who explained how she “lost everything” because of their feud.
“When I left the show, I had this new baby and no one. Family disowned me, Hollywood disowned me, my family said you’ve ruined our name and I wasn’t unprofessional on the set. I just stopped talking to everybody because I didn’t know who to trust, I had been banished. They said it was you who banished me. Because you were Will, you were a kid. It was hard,” Janet confessed to Will.
Janet also told Will that he “didn’t realize” that she was “going through a lot at home” at the time, and even revealed she was in a “very abusive marriage.” At the time, Will — who was just on the verge of his 22nd birthday when their show premiered — couldn’t relate as much, but now that he’s gone through his own marriage troubles and has three kids, the actor said he could “see now the level of pain and the level of struggle that it was for you just to show up every day.”
With that said, Janet was ready to tell Will what she had been feeling all these years: “You took all of that away from me, with your words. Words can kill. I lost everything. Reputation, everything, everything. I understand you were able to move forward, but you know those words, calling a Black woman difficult in Hollywood is the kiss of death. It’s hard enough when you a dark-skinned Black woman in this business.”
However, the confrontation was therapeutic for Janet, who said it was necessary for them “to finally move forward” and even apologized for “blast[ing]” Will “to pieces” in past interviews. It was Will’s turn to react, and he said, “First of all, thank you for sharing that with me. I didn’t know what. When I look back now, it’s obvious you were having a hard time and I felt like you hated me. I could not do a 30-year celebration of this show and not celebrate you. Celebrate your contribution to this show and celebrate your contribution to my life.”
With their feud buried, Janet was ready to reunite with the rest of the cast the next day — however, it wasn’t exactly a reunion for one of the people she faced. After all these years, Janet met the actress who replaced her as Aunt Viv — Daphne — for the very first time! The two women hugged, which DJ Jazzy Jeff (who played Will’s best friend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) described as “chilling” and a “dream come true.” The two Aunt Vivs even teamed up for a TikTok starring Will, which you can watch at the top of this article!
Janet Hubert played “Aunt Viv” between 1990-1993. Will Smith, meanwhile, played the lead role named after himself between 1990-1996. (Photo Credit: Everett Collection)
Indeed, it was surreal to see Janet and her former co-stars (and replacement) make peace with one another. Janet made it very clear, on numerous occasions in the past, that she would never reunite with her old co-stars. She had also claimed Will and Alfonso Ribeiro, who played her son Carlton Banks on the show, had “destroyed a 20-year-career with untruths” to BVonBooks.com (now a part of Huffington Post’s “Black Voices” vertical) in 2009, per Mic. And in 1993, Will infamously said on an Atlanta radio station, “I can say straight up that Janet Hubert wanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show because I know she is going to dog me in the press.” It looks like Will and Janet will no longer be saying such things about one another!
Amelia Hamlin has shared that she had to have a breast reduction at the age of 16 after a piercing got infected and caused massive swelling in her left bosom.
Nipple piercings can be dangerous, as Amelia Hamlin has learned. Scott Disick ‘s new 19-year-old love interest revealed that she had to have a breast reduction procedure at the age of 16, when her nipple piercing got infected and caused her breast to swell. Amelia explained what happened on the Aug. 25, 2020 Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast, but at time the model’s stunning admission about her dangerous eating disorder was were what fans focused on. Now the breast reduction conversation is getting attention thanks her hot and heavy romance with Scott. You can hear her wild discussion at the 46:01 mark below:
It all began with why Amelia can’t eat eggs. “When I eat eggs, I either get strep throat, or I get strep in parts of my body,” she began. “I was at Coachella one year and I had a nipple piercing and I was at a party living my best life with my friends,” when she got pushed into some shrubbery. One of Amelia’s friends grabbed her “and nipple piercing gets caught.” While she didn’t feel any pain at the time, a cut developed that became infected, and days later her left breast blew up in size.

“I was eating so many eggs that weekend. Every morning I would get up and eat eggs, it’s such an easy breakfast to have before going to rage,” she told the hosts. She eventually got home from the desert concert festival and and told her momLisa Rinnathat she wasn’t feeling well. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star blamed it on going to Coachella.
“I had a 104 degree fever…my left boob was out to here,” she said. “I was 16 and had mastitis, whatever the heck that is.” Mastitis is a condition that causes redness, swelling and pain in a woman’s breast, but mainly from breastfeeding. “It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I went to the emergency room. They told me I had a kidney infection,” Amelia explained, which turned out to be a false diagnosis.

She ended up going to a special disease doctor at L.A.’s famed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, “And he was like ‘Yeah, you have strep in your left breast. So when I eat eggs, I either get strep throat, or I get strep in parts of my body. Also, I was 12 hours away from going into sepsis. My doctor told me I was going to die in 12 hours.” As a result, “I had to fully get surgery. I had to get a breast reduction,” Amelia explained, noting that, “The infection made my boobs so uneven.”

Amelia looks terrific now, and she sure caught Scott’s attention. The 37-year-old father of three was first spotted out with the teen while attending a Halloween party together. She’s definitely confident about the way her breasts appear now, as she dressed in a tiny bikini top made of edible candy. Scott and Amelia have since been seen taking romantic strolls on the beach, and put on a PDA show after having a romantic dinner in Malibu on Nov. 16.
Will Smith cries while paying tribute to his ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ dad James Avery during the highly-anticipated reunion. He also reveals what James whispered in his ear during a pivotal episode.
James Avery was deeply missed during The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion that dropped early on HBO Max. Will Smith and the rest of the cast paid tribute to James, who played Banks patriarch Philip Banks, during the special. Will shed many tears reflecting on the impact James, who passed away in 2013, had on him as a young actor.
“James, he pushed me so hard,” Will admitted to the cast. “His thing was, I’m in such a unique position and that responsibility you must elevate your craft. You have to represent, and you are paving a way, and he just wouldn’t give me an inch.”

Will recalled the episode where his character’s father resurfaces after 14 years. Will said that he looked up to James and desperately wanted James “to think I was good.” When co-star Tatyana Ali mentioned it, Will noted that he also wanted James to be “proud” of him.
In the season 4 episode, Will and Uncle Phil have an emotional conversation about Will’s father. Will revealed to the cast that he “flubbed” his line in front of the audience. “I messed it up in front of the audience and my mind snapped,” Will continued. Will admitted that he was angry at himself, and it was James who stepped in to help. James told Will, “Get yourself together.” And then James called “action.”
“The scene that we do is the scene that ended up being in the episode,” Will said. At the end of the charged scene, Will and Uncle Phil hug each other. Will revealed that James whispered in his ear at that moment, “Now that’s acting.”

As Will remembered the story, he pulled out a tissue to wipe tears from his eyes. “People don’t even know when they’re shaping you and forming you and crafting you…” Will admitted. The cast and Will agreed that James knew exactly what he was doing with them.
A reel of James’ best moments were then shown to the cast. By the end of the reel, everyone was in tears. Will continued to cry and wipe tears from his face. The special also featured Alfonso Ribeiro, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Karyn Parsons, Janet Hubert, and Joseph Marcell.
Pete Davidson never intended to ‘hurt’ Cazzie David with his and Ariana Grande’s whirlwind romance, but still has ‘mixed emotions’ towards Cazzie’s interview and book about their 2018 breakup.
Pete Davidson, 27, has “mixed emotions” towards what his ex, Cazzie David, “said about him” in her new book and bombshell interview about their breakup and his romance with Ariana Grande, which a source close to Pete EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. In the interview with The Los Angeles Times, Cazzie made headlines for saying that she “shook uncontrollably” after learning that Pete had moved on to Ariana just a day after he called off their relationship for good via text (according to her side of the story). While we’ve learned that Pete was upset to learn this — since his romance with Ariana was never a ploy for breakup revenge — he still sees the end of his relationship with Larry David’s daughter a bit “differently.”
Pete Davidson and Cazzie David are pictured here in the middle of their two-and-a-half year relationship in 2017. (Photo Credit: Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP)
“[Pete] sees the relationship he had with Cazzie as something he enjoyed, but sees how it ended differently than she does. And when Ariana came into the picture, that was such a breath of fresh air for him that he went on that journey fast and furious because it felt so right,” our source explains. “He doesn’t want people to feel bad, but with breakups, someone is going to feel pretty bad. Hearts were broken but Pete had to move on. He accepts that Cazzie is saying what she is saying, but he can’t pay too much attention to it and has to move on, which he has.”
Regardless, this doesn’t mean it was ever Pete’s intention to cause the distress that Cazzie detailed in her interview. “The last thing Pete ever wanted was for Cazzie to get hurt because of anything that happened between them,” a second source, who’s also close to the stand-up comedian, EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. “Pete was also figuring out his own stuff at the time and needed to decide what he wanted in terms of going back to what he had with Cazzie or starting a new chapter with Ariana.”

You see, it was a complicated situation: Cazzie admitted that she initiated their breakup, after struggling “to convince [Pete] that she really loved him,” which the Eighty-Sixed web series creator shared in her interview with The Los Angeles Times. But when she tried to win him back, it was too late; Pete had already decided to pursue new love with Ariana in May of 2018, just a few days after Cazzie asked for a break. “Cazzie broke up with Pete, she just didn’t expect him to move on so fast,” a third source, who’s close to Pete as well, EXCLUSIVELY explains to HollywoodLife. This insider adds, “He didn’t start dating Ariana to hurt Cazzie. It just happened very fast and he went with it. He hates that it hurt Cazzie, but fortunately they have been able to talk about it and move past it and they’re great friends now. And they really are better as friends.”
Our second source stresses this friendship as well, telling us, “Pete’s glad that [he] and Cazzie could get to the point they’re at now and can be friendly after all this time, despite everything that went down and he has nothing but respect for her.” As a testament to this, Cazzie showed her essay about the breakup to Pete, and even wrote in her new book — titled No One Asked For This: Essays, which was just released on Nov. 17 — “Pete. I love you … Your bravery inspires me and your friendship means the world to me.”

Pete and Cazzie dated for two and a half years before their split in May of 2018, and that very same month, Pete embarked on a highly sensationalized romance with Ariana. He proposed to the 27-year-old pop star after just weeks of dating, but the engagement and relationship was called off in October of that year, shortly after the heartbreaking death of Ariana’s ex Max Miller. Ariana also later clarified that it wasn’t the first time she and Pete had broken up, and described their relationship as “on and off” during an interview on The Zach Sang Show in Feb. 2019.
Demi Lovato is capping off her ‘rollercoaster’ 2020 with a fierce new hairstyle. Gone are the long brunette locks she’d been rocking in favor of a short blonde ‘do with a slight buzz cut.
Now THIS is a total hair makeover. One of Demi Lovato‘s biggest hits is “Confident” and she sure is feeling that way with her gorgeous new short, blonde hairstyle. The 28-year-old singer debuted her bold new look in a series of Instagram photos on Nov. 18, showing off her new cut and color, where her hair was buzzed on the side and back with her brown roots still showing. A longer layer remained atop her head that was dyed a golden blonde, which was swept over to one side.
Demi totally worked the new hairstyle in a series of snapshots taken by her longtime photographer Angelo Kritikos, which she shared on Instagram. The 2020 People Choice Awards host credited the cut and color to Los Angeles master stylist Amber Maynard Bolt, who shared one of the photos of the “Stone Cold” singer’s new look to her Instagram account and wrote, “CHANGE. Got to do something really special for this one @ddlovato.”
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer could be seen with flawless makeup by artist ROKAEL, who called Demi’s new look “Bossyyy,” and that Demi was “serving a whole slayyy” with her bold lip, dark cat eye, fierce eyebrows and “new Fox Eye lashes” that he’s launching. The singer’s hairstylist Paul Norton shared several photos of Demi’s new ‘do to his Instagram page, saying of her look, “Issa VIBE,” while her stylist Siena Montesano called Demi’s black leather jacket with a high pulled up lapel the “next chapter” for the stunning vocalist.

Demi’s new look is a far cry from the waist-length, brunette locks that she wore while hosting the start of the PCAs on Nov. 15. She then switched up a second look during the telecast to show off super long, wavy blonde tresses. For the most part of 2020, Demi has kept her hair at a medium brunette length.
Demi’s celebrity pals and fans went wild for her dramatic makeover. Kerry Washington told Demi she looked “Gorge” while Ruby Rose cheered, “Yes boo yes.” Lucy Hale gushed, “Ohhhhh my God” over Demi’s makeover while The Bachelor‘s Nick Viall flirted, “Welllllll sheet” along with a fire emoji. Lisa Rinna applauded her with clapping emojis and told Demi “SHORT HAIR DON’T CARE,” while Demi’s manager Scooter Braun definitely approved of his client’s new look, leaving heart emojis in the comments. This really is one of Demi’s best looks EVER!
