The Supervisory Board of the State Corporation “Roscosmos” approved the decision to “optimize the headcount of the corporation's central office by 10%” at the suggestion of General Director Yuri Borisov, according to the website of the state corporation.
At the meeting, Borisov presented the new structure of Roscosmos. In particular, Andrey Elchaninov and Alexander Ivanov (he held the same position at Roskosmos in 2013-2015, and was also the acting head of the corporation) became deputy general directors.

In the structure of the state corporation, the report says, there will be two new directions. Borisov said earlier that Russia lags far behind other countries in the production of satellites. He also noted that space services should be provided on a commercial basis and not free of charge.
