After DJ Simi Khadra and The Weeknd were caught kissing in Vegas, she popped up in a new photo with his famous ex, Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez appears to have no issue with a friend (Simi Khadra) dating her ex (The Weeknd). Fans realized this unique, unexpected dynamic is playing out on Feb. 24, once the “Same Old Love” singer, 29, posted new photos to Instagram that featured Simi, 28, whom she’s been friends with for years. Simi, best known as part of the modeling/DJ duo with her twin sister, Haze Khadra, has recently been romantically linked to The Weeknd, 32, who memorably dated Selena for about 10 months in 2017.

In the first photo, Selena, Simi, and Haze all posed for a loving group shot. The Disney channel alum rocked a gray crop top and sweatpants, as she put one of her hands in the air in between the twin sisters. The second image featured an action shot of Selena wrapping her arms around Haze while laughing, as Simi tried to join in for the adorable love fest.

“Since 2013 💙,” Selena captioned the post. That means Selena’s been friends with the twins since before her months-long relationship with The Weeknd (b. Abel Tesfaye). The “Save Your Tears” singer also previously dated supermodel Bella Hadid, who just happens to also be friends with Simi. However, a source just recently told HollywoodLife that Bella “is not concerned one way or another who Abel is dating, even if it is an old friend of hers.”

Simi and The Weeknd first sparked renewed romance speculation at the start of the month. The paparazzi photographed the two leaving the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Feb. 2. Supposedly, they were first linked in April 2021 but have kept a relatively low profile since then. At the time, a source told HollywoodLife that Simi and Abel weren’t dating, that they had been “friends for years.”

However, after the pair made out in Las Vegas on Saturday (Feb. 19), while celebrating Abel’s 32nd birthday, fans are assuming that the stars are indeed a romantic item. If they are, Selena clearly doesn’t seem to mind!

‘Dawn FM’ has arrived, and The Weeknd’s new album featured a surprising cameo from Jim Carrey.

2022 has gotten off to a great and strange start. Two years after The Weeknd helped many endure the strain of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the singer (b. Abel Tesfaye) has returned with the highly-anticipated follow-up, Dawn FM. Helping him usher in this new era was a handful of collaborators, which included Jim Carrey. Yes, the man behind The Mask, Man on the Moon, and Bruce Almighty was a part of The Weeknd’s new album in a way that none expected. The actor basically plays a soft-rock radio host in the form of a DJ, and he helps lead listeners through the entire album. It’s pretty amazing and fans are loving it.

Jim Carrey is “so clutch”, one Twitter user wrote, while another said, “God bless Jim Carrey”.

The Weeknd really got Jim Carrey to narrate on his album 😭

— Zuzu (@Zuko__28) January 7, 2022

This appearance by the former In Living Color funnyman wasn’t a complete surprise. “I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel last night,” Jim tweeted on Jan. 3, shortly after The Weeknd announced his new album, along with the list of contributors. Jim said that the new project was “deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony.” The Weeknd saw Jim’s comment and responded to the kindness with love of his own. “Thank you for being a part of this,” wrote Abel. “It’s kismet. Full circle.”

— Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) January 3, 2022

The Weeknd spoke about his friendship with Jim Carrey in an August 2021 feature in GQ. As Abel was celebrating his 30th birthday, he and Jim met for the first time. “We’d been texting prior to that. And then, on my 30th birthday, he surprised me. He just pulled up to my crib and took me to breakfast,” the singer told GQ. “He lived literally like two buildings down from me. He had a telescope, and I had a telescope. He was like, ‘Where do you live? What floor do you live on?’ I was like, Blah, blah, blah. And we looked out the windows on our telescopes and we could see each other. That was like the beginning of my 30s. It was just like, What is going on?”

The Weeknd also touched upon this telescopic friendship in an April 2020 interview with Variety. “I texted him the address of my condo in L.A., and he said, ‘I can literally see your place from my balcony,’ and we got out telescopes and were waving to each other,” he said. “Jim Carrey was my first inspiration to be any kind of performer, and I went to breakfast with him on my first day of being 30.”

While the other collaborators on Dawn FM seem more conventional – Quincy Jones, Omeohtrix Point Never, Lil Wayne, and Tyler, The Creator are all on the album – Jim stands out at first glance. However, those familiar with his career know that Jim is capable of carrying a tune. He famously covered “Cuban Pete” for 1994’s The Mask, and Jefferson Airplane’s “Somebody To Love” for 1996’s The Cable Guy. But, before then, Jim’s musical talents shone during his time on In Living Color (1990-1994).

Jim also covered The Beatles’ “I Am The Walrus” for In My Life, an album compiled and produced by The Beatles’ longtime producer, George Martin. In My Life also had Goldie Hawn perform “A Hard Day’s Night,” Robin Williams sing “Come Together” with Bobby McFerrin, and Sean Connery deliver a version of “In My Life.”

The new era of The Weeknd is here, and it has the ‘Take My Breath’ singer looking…old. The Weeknd shared the first look at his ‘Dawn FM’ album, and he looked like a withered old man on the album art.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so The Weeknd didn’t say much on Tuesday (Jan. 4) when he unveiled the artwork for his new album, Dawn FM. “Album cover,” the singer, born Abel Tesfaye, captioned the social media posts that featured the art. In it, the 31-year-old singer was transformed into an old man. His distinctive hair was white and gray. His beard was a scruffy mess. The skin on his face was marred with wrinkles, livers spots, and sunken eyes that had seen many long nights. A sliver of light illuminated the back of his neck, indicating the titular dawn was coming.

Fans responded to the reveal with a mixed reaction. There were the expected enthusiastic comments – “I AM NOT READY,” “READY FOR THE DAWN FM,” “DAWN IS COMING” – but some weren’t feeling the artwork. “Sir?” “This sh!t better be good if this is the album cover.” “Is this supposed to show us how much we waited for Dawn FM?” The last comment is odd since DAWN FM will arrive on Jan. 7, 2022, less than two years since The Weeknd’s previous album, After Hours.

While the narrative around this album shifted following After Hours’ now-infamous Grammy snub, the album was the soundtrack to 2020. “Blinding Lights” became the song with the most weeks spent in the top 5, top 10, top 20, top 40, and top 100 of the Billboard Hot 100, ultimately resulting in the publication dubbing it The #1 Greatest Hot 100 Hit of All Time.

The Weeknd did spend most of 2021 hyping up this new release. In May 2021, he told Variety, “if the last record is the After Hours of the night, then The Dawn is coming.” Over the following seven months, Abel would drop references and hints to the album. At the start of 2022, The Weeknd shared a screenshot of a conversation between him and La Mar Taylor, the co-founder of XO records. “What we thinking?” asked La Mar. “Happy New Year! Everything feels chaotic again. Music can heal, and that feels more important than another album rollout,” responded The Weeknd. “Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people.”

Dawn FM will feature appearances from Tyler, the Creator, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never, Lil Wayne, and The Weeknd’s new BFF, Jim Carrey. For those who aren’t feeling the official cover, Stereogum pointed out that The Weeknd’s official online shop is currently listing two alternative Dawn FM covers, billed as Collector’s 01 and Collector’s 02 editions. This artwork is from Robert Beatty and is available on CD, vinyl, and cassette format.

What happens when you get two of the biggest stars in music on a single track? You get ‘One Right Now,’ the new collab from Post Malone and The Weeknd!

The Weeknd has been gearing up for the “dawn” of his new era, but is the music world ready for the next phase of Post Malone? Post, 26, seemingly unleashed the next single from his highly-anticipated follow-up to Hollywood’s Bleeding on Friday (Nov. 5), an epic collab with The Weeknd, 31, called “One Right Now.” In the ’80s synth inspired tune, the two croon about about an ex who wants to get back together — despite the guys having moved on (with another girl — i.e. “one” — on the way over “right now”).

“You said you loved me but I don’t care…You think it’s so easy f—— with my feelings,” The Weekend, née Abel Tesfaye, sings in the opening verse, going on to inform his ex of his current plans with some support from Post. “I got one comin’ over and one right now (Oh), one right now/(One right now, one right now, oh-oh-oh)/I got one comin’ over and one right now.”

Post Malone, née Austin Richard Post, had some similar cold feelings about his past girl. “You said you want to have my babies…Don’t call me baby when you did me so wrong…But I got over what you did already,” he added in the second verse. It’s unclear if the song is inspired by any of their actual past relationships.

Fans first got a taste of “One Right Now” on Tuesday (Nov. 2) when Post and The Weeknd shared teasers of the new song to their social media accounts. The seven-second clip was titled “PM&TWN-ORN-Update.5.nonhyped.w1.mp3.” Post’s manager, Dre London, also shared the clip to his own account and revealed that “ORN” stood for “One Right Now,” while also suggesting that the track would arrive sooner than later. “What I couldn’t wait to tell the [world emoji] This Friday!! I’m excited for u to finally here what I been talking about!! @postmalone & @theweeknd ‘One Right Now’ #DreVision in full effect!! #Shutdown Ting!!! Crazy Movie Video comes next week!!!” wrote Dre.

“One Right Now” marks Post’s second single of 2021. He previously released “Motley Crew” in July, along with a NASCAR-inspired video that saw cameos from racers Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace. The video also featured appearances by Tommy Lee (whose band, Mötley Crüe, is the inspiration for the track’s title), Saint Jhn, Tyla Yaweh (who released a song “Tommy Lee” that featured Post), Ty Dolla Sign, Big Sean, and French Montana. Musically, it saw Post return to a more hip-hop sound after finding success with his rock/alt-rock-inspired tracks “Take What You Want” and “Circles.” Commercially, “Motley Crew” was a modest hit, spending nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at No. 13.

(imageSPACE/Mark LoMoglio/AP/Shutterstock

It’s been over two years since Post Malone released Hollywood’s Bleeding, his most successful album to date. Post was finishing up the second leg of his Runaway Tour when the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to cancel the last handful of dates. Afterward, he has kept a relatively low profile. In April 2020, Post performed an at-home Nirvana tribute concert where he raised funds for the United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. He shaved his head, sparked romance rumors, covered Hootie and the Blowfish for a Pokémon anniversary album, and performed “Hollywood’s Bleeding” at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Other than that, Post has kept to himself. Apparently, he was prepping his new album.

Hollywood’s Bleeding debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In three months, it sold more than 357,000 equivalent units, making it the ninth best-selling album of 2019, per Forbes (and was the sixth best-selling album of 2020, according to Billboard.) Similarly, The Weeknd has been prepping Dawn, his follow-up to After Hours.

It seems ‘After Hours’ are officially over. The Weeknd continued the rollout of his new ‘Dawn’ era with help from Swedish House Mafia. Watch the video for ‘Moth to a Flame.’

The Weeknd wasn’t going to let 2021 come to a close without another preview of the next chapter in his musical journey. After dominating the Billboard Hot 100 with his ever-present “Blinding Lights,” The Weeknd (b. Abel Tesfaye) continued to put his After Hours era in his rearview, while driving straight into the “dawn” of something new. Now, he has teamed up with electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia for “Moth to a Flame,” presumably from his upcoming album, believed to be titled The Dawn.

The artists released the new track and an accompanying video on October 21. In the single, The Weeknd sings about the ability to draw someone in, crooning, “Like a moth to a flame, I’ll pull you in / What you need initially, it’s just one call away / And you’ll leave him, you’re loyal to me / But this time I’ll let you be.” What begins as a group of naked bodies amid an orgy (?) eventually turns to terrifying, reawakened figures in the sexy — and albeit spooky — music video.

Swedish House Mafia is better known as Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The trio formed in late 2008 and quickly found success, reaching No. 10 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll in 2011. The group is currently managed by Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, the long-time manager of – you guessed it – The Weeknd. This synergy comes shortly after The Weeknd postponed and revamped his already delayed After Hours tour. First rescheduled to January, the tour will now start in January. “Due to the constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires more stadiums,” he said, while rebranding the tour the After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour.

2021 has been relatively quiet – music-wise – for The Weeknd. His appearance on the charts has come mostly as a feature artist, lending his vocals to songs by Doja Cat (“You Right”), Belly (“Better Believe”, “Die For It”) and Kanye West (“Hurricane”). He did release a remix of “Save Your Tears” featuring Ariana Grande, as well as “Take My Breath,” presumably the lead single from his upcoming album. Other than that, it’s been a low-key year, musically. In a non-music sense, there was plenty of noise at the start of the year involving the Grammy Awards, and how they snubbed The Weeknd, “Blinding Lights,” and After Hours. This has resulted in the Weeknd vowing never to submit his music for Grammy consideration again.

That music might be arriving sooner than one thinks. GQ’s Mark Anthony Green got a preview of The Weeknd’s next album – supposedly titled Dawn – and he said it was “packed with party records. Like real-deal, illuminated-white-tiles-on-the-floor party records.” The sound was also described as “new,” as in it wasn’t trying to “cosplay” as disco or 80s retro. “It’s the album I’ve always wanted to make,” The Weeknd told Green.

“The dawn is upon us kids. The album is pretty much done, just doing some final tweaks, some mixing notes, additional vocals,” the Weeknd said during the Aug. 11 broadcast of his Apple Music show. During that broadcast, he also said that Britney Spears’ “Toxic” and “Everytime,” both from 2003’s In The Zone, were influences on the upcoming album, but he didn’t say how.

“I was thinking of doing an episode of Memento Mori every week until the album drops. Should be fun. I’ll play you guys some music that’s inspiring me right now, maybe play some snippets. Who knows? But, I’m generally having fun.”

Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd have been spotted dining together at the same Santa Monica restaurant for the second time. See the pics!

Angelina Jolie, 46, and The Weeknd, 31, are still fueling romance rumors, two months after they were first spotted grabbing dinner together. The A-lister and the “Blinding Lights” singer were spotted at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on September 25, marking their second visit to the Italian restaurant — see all the pics here. They reportedly spent two and a half hours inside a private section of the establishment, after arriving separately.

The Maleficent actress stunned in a black double-breasted trench coat, which she paired with matching black pumps and a Yves Saint Laurent handbag. She wore a black protective face mask, and styled her dark tresses in loose waves. Meanwhile, The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, cut an equally dark figure in a black jacket, dark jeans, and black boots. After finishing their meal, the duo left together.

It comes two months after the pair first met up for dinner, sparking plenty of dating speculation. At the time, it was reported by Page Six that the A-lister and the Super Bowl Half Time star, spent hours dining with each other. It is believed both stars are currently single, however the circumstances of their meetings remain unknown. Of course, Angelina is still embroiled in a court battle with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, with whom she shares her six children. Despite her legal woes, she’s been making sure to spent plenty of time with her kids, and has regularly been spotted out and about with them.

At the end of May 2021, a judge awarded Brad joint custody of the duo’s five minor children for the first time since the split. However, Angelina appealed the judge’s decision in June, and has been fighting to allow the children to testify for themselves in court. In March, she also filed legal documents that claim she has “proof and authority” to support allegations of domestic violence against Brad (he was cleared of child abuse by the Department of Child & Family services, as well as the FBI, in 2016).

Is there a new Hollywood partnership brewing between Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd? It’s highly possible given the A-list stars recently grabbed dinner together.

Angelina Jolie, 46, and The Weeknd, 31, met up for a dinner date in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 30. The stars were each seen exiting Giorgio Baldi, a popular celebrity restaurant, around the same time that evening, according to photos obtained by Page Six. The outlet reported that the Maleficent actress and the “Blinding Lights” crooner, born Abel Tesfaye, spent hours dining with each other. Angelina wore a black dress and trench coat, the photos showed, while The Weeknd wore a denim jacket over a black shirt and jeans. See the photos of the unexpected duo HERE.

The details of Angelina and The Weeknd’s dinner date are unknown. Both stars are currently single, as far as we know, so it’s possible this could be a new romantic relationship. But it’s also likely this was nothing more than a business meeting. The Weeknd will be making his TV acting debut in HBO’s upcoming drama series The Idol, so the singer may have just been meeting up with Angelina for some acting advice. Who knows!

Angelina and The Weeknd both have a history of dating fellow celebs. Of course, Angelina was famously married to Brad Pitt from 2014 until they split in 2016. They were legally named single by the court in April 2019, though they are still embroiled in a gnarly custody battle over their kids – Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins, Vivienne and Knox, 12. Their eldest son, Maddox, is 19 and not subject to any custody arrangements. Before Brad, Angelina was married to fellow actors Johnny Lee Miller (1996 to 1999) and Billy Bob Thornton (2000 to 2003).

Meanwhile, The Weeknd has most notably been linked to fellow stars Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez. The “Can’t Feel My Face” singer started dating Bella, 24, in 2015 but they split in November 2016. The pair rekindled their relationship in May 2018, only to call it quits again in August 2019. In between his dating stints with Bella, The Weeknd began dating Selena, 28, in January 2017. The duo made a few public appearances together but went their separate ways by October 2017. Despite the singers’ brief romance together, fans believe it inspired the lyrics to “Save Your Tears” off of The Weeknd’s album After Hours.

Seven years after teaming up for ‘Love Me Harder,’ The Weeknd reunited with Ariana Grande to remix his ‘Save Your Tears.’ We even get to see The Weeknd and Ariana in cartoon form!

If you’re crying for joy that The Weeknd and Ariana Grande have once again collaborated on a track, well, grab a tissue and, as the song says, “Save Your Tears.” Nearly a decade after these two first teamed up, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye, 31) and Ariana, 27, partnered to remix his song from his 2019 album, After Hours. The remix also comes with a brand-new music video in which The Weeknd and Ariana transform into cartoon characters. But this isn’t a video for kids — the animated visuals play out a compelling plot.

Courtesy of Youtube

In the music video for the “Save Your Tears” remix, we are taken deep down into The Weeknd’s secret laboratory in the desert where he is constructing the perfect Ms. Grande. This also seems to be a wink at the fact that Ariana also acted as a mad scientist to build the perfect Ari robot in her music video for “34 + 35.” You can watch the trippy animation above, which was directed by Jack Brown (who was also in charge of character design).

The Weeknd and Ariana first teased that they were working together on Monday (Apr. 19) when they both shared an eight-second snippet of their vocals harmonizing the lyrics, “I don’t know why I run away.” A few days later, they confirmed the collab by sharing the remix’s official artwork to their social media accounts. The art depicted an animated version of Ariana being reflected in the giant sunglasses of The Weeknd’s After Hours character.

“Save Your Tears (Remix)” marks the third time that these two have teamed up. They previously connected on “off the table,” from Ariana’s 2020 album, Positions. They first worked together six years earlier on “Love Me Harder” from Ariana’s sophomore album, My Everything. Released in 2014, “Love Me Harder” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Ariana’s fourth consecutive top-ten single off of her album. It was The Weeknd’s first top ten entry in the United States. Both “Love Me Harder” and “Earned It” – released in December 2014, the lead single to the Fifty Shade of Grey soundtrack – helped introduced The Weeknd to a wider, mainstream audience. It laid the groundwork for his subsequent superstar success – “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” would arrive in 2015, with “Starboy” following in 2016 – but the collab did more than that. “Love Me Harder” introduced The Weeknd to Max Martin, one of the song’s writers and one of the most successful songwriters in modern history.

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande teamed up again (Shutterstock)

“Ariana was kinda my foot in the door with Max, my chance to show him ‘I can play this game,’ y’know?” he told Variety in 2020. “But when we got in the room together, we didn’t really connect as much. Then someone invited him to a show I did at the Hollywood Bowl, and he saw 15,000 people singing along, and I think he was like, ‘OK, there’s something I’m not getting.’ So we sat down again, and the first song we created was ‘In the Night.’” They also worked on the aforementioned “Can’t Feel My Face,” four songs from Starboy, as well as six tracks from After Hours, including the chart-topping “Blinding Lights,” and the original “Save Your Tears.”

“Max and I have become literally the best of friends, but I don’t do that with many people,” The Weeknd told Variety. “It’s not that I can’t, but a collaboration is a relationship, it’s like a marriage, you’ve gotta build up to it.”

The Weeknd and Rosalia teamed up for a very steamy music video, sparking dating speculation left and right on Twitter. We learned if all the talk ‘concerned’ The Weeknd’s ex, Bella Hadid.

Fans may be buzzing over the idea of a hypothetical romance between The Weeknd, 30, and Rosalia, 27, but the rumors aren’t affecting Bella Hadid, 24. “Bella’s not really concerned one way or another what is or isn’t going on with Abel’s love life,” a source close to Bella, who is referring to The Weeknd’s real name (Abel Tesfaye), EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. The speculation about Abel’s aforementioned love life began when he starred in a passionate music video with Rosalia for a remix to his hit song, “Blinding Lights,” which dropped on Dec. 3 (see below).

In the video, Abel seductively wrapped his arms around the Spanish pop star, a pose that he copied in this steamy photo. This of course got fans talking, as you can see below! However, Bella “knows the name of the game and understands that his form of expression is through his music,” our source tells us. “Rosalia is gorgeous and Bella knows there will always be fan speculation regardless of who he works with.”

There’s reason Bella knows fan speculation concerning Abel’s dating life will always be rampant. “They have a long history and spent a big chunk of their lives together,” our source further explains. “That will never change and she knows they learned a lot from each other through their relationship. Bella is focused on her own life and doesn’t spend her time prying into his.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by The Weeknd (@theweeknd)

So, with that said, it was purely coincidental that Bella shared a steamy video of herself right after her ex starred in a steamy video with Rosalia. “Bella had no intention of sending any message to Abel when she posted that Instagram video,” our source clarifies, referring to the video of Bella giving off sultry vibes in a lacy black bra from La Perla on Dec. 4 — a day after Abel’s video with Rosalia was released. She even captioned the sexy clip with a flirtatious caption: “Baby you remind me of my dreams.”

However, “Bella is a supermodel and anybody who follows her on social media knows she’s very confident and comfortable with posting content that she feels empowers her,” our source adds. “She’s a consummate professional and doesn’t use social media as a tool for anything other than to build her brand and spread positivity.”

While Bella is living her best life as a single and empowered woman, fans are dying to know if Abel’s relationship with Rosalia is more than professional. “Are Rosalia and The Weeknd dating?? Or just doing a collab? I need answers!,” one fan asked on Twitter, while another fan went ahead and tweeted, “Im convinced the weeknd and rosalia are dating.” A third fan even wrote, “@theweeknd ur dating rosalia admit it.”

Despite the many assumptions, Abel has not entered a public relationship with anyone since reportedly splitting from Bella, again, in Aug. 2019. Like our insider mentioned, Bella and Abel have a long history together. They were first romantically linked together after Coachella in 2015, and although they split by the fall of 2016, they reunited (temporarily) in 2018.

The Weeknd has been known to push the limits in his music videos, and he’s done it again with ‘Too Late.’ Two women have fun with his decapitated head before attaching it to a stripper’s body for a good time.

The Weeknd certainly topped himself when it came to the concept for his new music video for “Too Late.” The good news for the 30-year-old is that he didn’t have to do much heavy lifting, as his inanimate severed head is used as a prop for most of the video. He then comes to life at the very end once it is sewn onto the body of a murder victim. The way he is awakened from the dead is thanks to two fresh female plastic surgery patients having their way with him intimately.

The vid opens innocently enough, with the shot of a SUV driving through the Hollywood Hills. The voices of two women are heard, with one saying, “I feel really good about surgery this time. I think it’s going to look really good, you know what I mean?” while the other replies, “I already feel so beautiful.” Then things take a very wild turn.

The vehicle then stops short, and the women in the front seat both have gauze bandages covering their heads and noses following plastic surgery. In the middle of the road is a cleanly severed head, belonging to The Weeknd — real name Abel Tesfaye. His sunglasses and stud earrings are in place, while his hair looks neat in short curls. “Oh my God, is that who I think it is?” one of the women asks upon closer inspection, while they other excitedly says “He’s SO hot!” Even though it is just a motionless head.

The ladies bring the head back to their mansion, where they change into sexy swimsuits and proceed to lick and kiss Abel’s severed head in the swimming pool. Eventually they invite over a male stripper, but put newspaper underneath the floor where ends up doing a sexy dance and showing off his six pack abs. One of the women then walks up behind the hottie and gruesomely slits his throat, killing him.

The blood-soaked women then sew The Weeknd’s head onto the body of the stripper (after assumably decapitating him). Oddly enough, the body now has on the same red jacket and black shirt and tie that The Weeknd wore to perform his mega-smash “Blinding Lights” at the 2020 MTV VMAs. Then the fun really begins! The new Franken-Abel is then placed on a bed where the ladies then perform certain “acts” to bring Abel back to life with his head on a new body! The Weeknd is eventually shown in quick cuts singing to the chorus of the song as the ladies go at it with their “creation” on a bed. This video is definitely not for the faint hearted, and should not be viewed at work! But Abel managed to combine gore and sex into a very glossy music video.

Bella Hadid ran into ex The Weeknd at rehearsals for the MTV VMAs, according to a new report! The model rocked a super sexy sheer top for the occasion.

Bella Hadid, 23, is showing ex-boyfriend The Weeknd, 30, what he’s missing! The model and Canadian singer ran into each other backstage at rehearsals for the MTV VMAs on Friday, Aug. 28, according to a new report. “They played it cool and crossed paths with each other, same place, same time,” a source spilled to the Daily Mail. The coincidental run-in happened as The Weeknd — née Abel Tesfaye — wrapped up a rehearsal for his performance, according to the source, who also said the exes appeared to be on “good terms.”

The 23-year-old surely left an impression as she rocked a super sexy mesh bodysuit for the occasion, leaving little to the imagination! The $620 Nensi Dojaka top featured a flirty off-the-shoulder cut, barely covering her cleavage with a built-in bra. Bella paired the top with $895 wool pleated pant by the same designer, finishing the look with an open-toe chain sandal from contemporary label By Far. She was spotted leaving her apartment in NYC in the same ensemble, and looked absolutely amazing! She kept the ’90s vibes going with hoop earrings, dewy makeup and a sleek up-do.

Bella and The Weeknd most recently split in Aug. 2019 after a lengthy on-again, off-again romance that began back in 2015. “They’ll always have some sort of connection but things just didn’t work out and it was bad timing,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife on Aug. 26. “They’re both still young so who knows what the future holds and they’ve always remained on good terms, but they’re just on different pages at this point,” they also said.

Although originally scheduled to take place at the Barclays Center, the MTV VMAs looked a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic: various segments of the event were filmed at different locations around New York City, including The Weeknd’s performance atop a Manhattan building. The Toronto native earned the coveted Video of the Year award for his 2019 song “Blinding Lights,” which he also performed at the show.

Bella also appeared on the star-studded broadcast to honor Lady Gaga, 34, with the MTV Tricon Award. “You can’t just call her a triple threat, because her talent and influence seems endless: she turns pop music into high art, she redefines fashion. She’s not only an incredible musician and composer, but a power house actor,” Bella said on-stage. “She’s a bold champion for equality, human rights and mental health. She is someone who inspires all of us,” she also said about Gaga.

Almost eight months after Juice WRLD’s tragic death, the beloved rapper was heard once again on ‘Smile,’ a posthumous collaboration with The Weeknd.

“XO + 999 Thursday Night,” The Weeknd posted to Instagram on Aug. 4 while sharing a picture of the late Juice WRLD, confirming that a once rumored collaboration was going to become a reality. The song – entitled “Smile” – arrived on Aug. 7, and it was exactly what fans had hoped for. It came as a comfort to hear Juice WRLD’s one-of-a-kind voice immediately kick off the song, which fans have been missing.

Juice WRLD and The Weeknd’s message is simple in this collab: they just want the person their serenading to “smile,” a message that takes on new meaning in the wake of Juice WRLD’s death. “I want you to prosper and come proper even if that means I ain’t by your side,” Juice WRLD sings, with that familiar depth of vulnerability that made the late rapper a household name.

The Weeknd’s message – “XO” representing his record label, and “999” being the number Juice WRLD used throughout his career before his death in December 2019 – sent fans scurrying through the Twitter archives to find a Sep. 10, 2019 tweet from Juice. “Me and The Weeknd would make a diamond record…” the rapper tweeted, and The Weeknd retweeted it almost a year later with a trio of prayer hands.

This song comes as both The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) and Juice WRLD (born Jarad Higgins) have found chart success in different ways. The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” has been a staple of the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 1 and never really straying that far from the top of the charts. Juice WRLD’s posthumous album, Legends Never Die, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, selling a total of 497,000 equivalent album units to briefly dethroning The Weeknd’s After hours as the biggest release of 2020 (a record that Taylor Swift would smash a week later.) It still remains the most successful posthumous album of the past 20 years in America, per NME.

Juice WRLD died on Dec. 8, 2019, suffering a seizure shortly after arriving at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. Juice Wrld’s cause of death was released at the start of the year, with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office ruling that the 21-year-old rapper died “as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity. The manner of death is an accident.” Juice reportedly ingested “several unknown pills” after authorities searched his private jet, uncovering 70 pounds of cannabis and three firearms. Seven months later after his death, Juice’s estate would release his album, and on Legends Never Die, he would rap about how his substance abuse was “killing me.”

Despite the COVID-19 coronavirus putting the music industry on pause, 2020 has been a busy year for The Weeknd. In addition to releasing After Hours – which left fans speculating if he was referencing his former relationships to Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid – the singer made a surprise appearance on American Dad. During the animated cameo, he sings about being a virgin, which is counter to everything the sexy crooner is about. “I’m a longtime fan of the show,” he told Variety. “I’ve been watching since high school but I really appreciated it about seven years ago. It’s been running for so long, and I feel like it has a real cult following. To really enjoy the show in its entirety you have to really know the characters.”

And what’s one thing not many people know about The Weeknd? “I’m very approachable and people don’t really know that about me. It might be surprising to some to learn how inquisitive I am and how much I love talking to people and going deep into conversation.”

The Weeknd Severs Ties With H&M In Scathing Tweet Amidst Racism Scandal

The Weeknd is the latest celebrity to sever ties with fashion company H&M over claims of racism.

Twitter erupted in anger on Monday after H&M posted an image from an ad showing a black kid wearing a hoodie with the words “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle Gym.” Folks started calling out the fashion brand for the racist gesture and The Weeknd, who has been doing business with the outlet for over a year now, quickly condemned the brand in a scathing tweet saying he will immediately stop doing business with them.

“Woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo. I’m deeply offended and will not be working with H&M anymore,” he wrote on Twitter along with posting the questionable image. The R&B singer, born Abel Tesfaye, started working with H&M last year by promoting gears from the fashion brand before he started collaborating on different pieces through his own XO brand. Sources close to the singer has indicated that he will continue to release new lines from his XO brand without a retailer behind it or through possible new partnership.

The Weeknd also currently has a partnership with Puma and his gears have been selling out fast. As for H&M, the company has since released a statement apologizing for the ad while vowing to get to the bottom of what really happened. “We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top,” H&M said in a statement (via USA Today). “The image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States. We believe in diversity and inclusion in all that we do and will be reviewing all our internal policies accordingly to avoid any future issues.”

Since the news went viral, the company has been getting hammered by celebrities and fans alike who are showing no mercy on social media.
