Kim Kardashian had a bevy of handsome men to choose from in this ‘Bachelorette’ spoof, including Tyler Cameron, Chase Crawford, John Cena and Jesse Williams!

After years of spoofing  Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Saturday Night Live finally welcomed Kim Kardashian, 40, to Studio 8H. The reality star brought the laughs in plenty of sketches, including an epic star-studded version of The Bachelorette dubbed “The Dreamy Guy.” In the sketch, a blonde haired Kim — going by the name Rochelle — attempted to find her husband from a roster of handsome A-Listers including Chris Rock, Jessie Williams, John Cena, Chase Crawford, and Tyler Cameron!

“I have no doubt in my mind that my husband is in this room. In fact, I wish I could marry each and every one of you but that would be way too many husbands,” Kim, wearing a yellow dress, said on-stage to her contenders. She then called each of them up one to receive a token indicating they’ve made the next round. First up? Chase!

“Chase — I had no much fun at the go carts with you — thank you for telling me about your hit show Gossip Girl,” Kim said to him, as he nervously took the token from her. Next to make the list was former real-life Bachelorette contestant Tyler, who she thanked for his “hot body” (he then retorted that he’d see her “in the hot tub”). Chris Rock, dapper in a plaid blazer, was then called up.

“Chris R — thank you for making me watch your nine HBO specials as you sat next to me and mouthed all the words,” she said in a perfectly neutral tone. Chris accepted the token from the reality star, and noted perhaps they should “watch [Dave] Chappelle next time.” Kim’s Rochelle then threw in a twist like Bachelor viewers have never seen!

“This might be aginst the rules but I really connected with one of the producers on the show. Amy S!” she declared, as Amy Schumer unexpectedly popped out! “Even though I’ve never dated a woman before, I feel…” she said, before Amy cut her off and said she had feelings, too. Finally, she chose Jessie Williams and John Cena, leaving Kyle Mooney‘s “Zeek” in the dust.

“Jessie W — I didn’t talk to you one single time this entire week, but you are the most attractive human I’ve ever seen,” she explained. “John C — you’re kind, considerate, mega jacked and very, very rich…I don’t love that you have a wife,” she pondered, referencing Shay Shariatzadeh. John agreed that was “very., very” fair as Kim’s Rochelle said she’s going to “to need you to figure out your wife situation.”

WWE superstar John Cena shocked the world last year when it was revealed that he had secretly married his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida. Learn more about the Canadian beauty who stole the heart of one of wrestling’s most legendary stars.

Now a household name, John Cena is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. In WWE, he has earned a whopping 17 world championships. On top of his lengthy wrestling resume, Cena has now created a formidable career in acting, bodybuilding, television presenting, and even rapping. He’s now a bonafide film star, appearing in big movies like Suicide Squad and Bumblebee. His Suicide Squad character Peacemaker was such a hit, he’s getting his own HBO Max series.

A far cry from her husband’s lengthy career in the limelight, Shay studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of British Columbia, where she received a bachelor’s degree in 2013 per LinkedIn. “I have always enjoyed math and physics,” she continued on Avigilon’s site. “My brother studied engineering in school, and I remember one day he came home with a project and it was an autonomous car — and that was it! I decided to study Engineering.”

Shay was a product manager at Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions Company in Vancouver, Canada. “I interviewed multiple Product Managers to figure out how they got into their role, and I followed their path,” she said in a profile on Avigilon‘s website. “Today, I take pride working in the video surveillance industry because our products help keep people and their assets safe, and that’s my little contribution to our world.”

Notably, Shay has stayed connected to her alma mater where she continues to work as a mentor. Part of her dutiess include developing and maintaining “connections to UBC and contribute to efforts to build a stronger industry and community,” and contributing “to the future of engineering and technology by assisting the next generation of leaders,” according to her LinkedIn.

How did John and Shay meet?

John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh were together for a year and a half before tying the knot. He first saw Shay while filming at a Vancouver restaurant where she was dining with a group of female friends and had a love-at-first-sight moment. “There was one woman I was looking at and I couldn’t take my eyes off her… that’s when it started,” John said in an interview to Entertainment Tonight.

The couple began dating in early 2019, and were first spotted having a romantic dinner date in her native Vancouver in March 2019, while John was in Canada to film Playing with Fire.

The pair seemed to have plenty to talk about, as their first outings as a couple were long ones. Four hour dinners typically mean amazing conversation, and that clearly helped connect the wrestler/actor with the beautiful engineer.

His next project took him to San Diego, where she flew in to meet him while enjoying a long-distance relationship. John was such a gentleman, as he was photographed personally taking her back to the airport after the long weekends together and passionately kissing her goodbye. Shay eventually got a tech job working remotely so that the pair were able to be together all the time, and that companionship is now going to last a lifetime. They finally made their red carpet debut on Oct. 26, 2019 at the NYC premiere of his film Playing With Fire, where they were both glowing as they smiled for cameras.

John Cena’s Past Relationships

Shay worked in Vancouver, CA in an engineering position, far away from the limelight that was John’s previous romance with longtime GF and later fiance, Nikki Bella, 36. It seems that Cena opted for a more low-key romance this time around after the highly public nature of his relationship with fellow WWE star Bella, which ended in 2018. The two were in a high profile relationship that began in 2012. John proposed to Nikki in April 2017, however, they never made it down the aisle — splitting in 2018.

Before Nikki, John had a few other high profile relationships with those in the wrestling community, including Mickie James — who he dated in 2007 — and Lisa Marie Varon for about a month. At the time, Lisa was on a break from husband Lee Varon, who she was married to from 1994 until 2015. “One of those times that we separated, I dated John for about a month. It was not in 2006 or 2007. It was 2002. I was married but separated. John was single,” she explained.

John was also previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau. The former couple got engaged in 2009, and married that same summer. John and Elizabeth were notoriously private about their relationship, an were rarely seen together over their three year marriage. The exes divorced in 2012.

Shay’s Top Moments with Her Husband

John and Shay have kept their relationship fairly low profile, but the beauty has supported her husband at a red carpet event or two! The pair looked so glam when they stepped out for their first red carpet appearance ever at the NYC premiere of Playing With Fire back in Oct. 2019. Just weeks later, the two were out for another premiere — this time for his flick Dolittle. Shay was a red carpet pro by then, slaying her look with a stunning silver dress and stylish side braid. She proudly posed alongside John, who was beaming the entire time.

While the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to in-person premieres for some time, John and Shay were back at it by Aug. 2021 for The Suicide Squad in Aug. 2021. The couple happily smiled and posed for cameras, even sharing a kiss for the crowd!

Moving Forward

Thoughts of expanding their family seem to be on horizon for the couple. The Fast & Furious 9 star opened up about possibly having kids in a new interview. “I’m a little bit older, a bit wiser. I’m realizing there is life and life exists and it’s beautiful — and I think part of that is being a parent, so we’ll see,” he confessed in an interview with British outlet The Sun. This comes as quite a surprise due to his strong stance against having children with his ex-fiancée Nikki Bella, which ultimately contributed to the demise of their relationship.

Shay hasn’t publicly commented about whether or not she wants kids, but she does have a particularly close relationship with her mom who has been a big source of inspiration. “The strongest and most hard working woman I know is my mother. The biggest lesson she taught me was to be independent and fight for the things I want in life,” Shay added in a past interview on her former employer’s website. “She is the reason I fight to be the best version of myself, to be kind and to never give up—because, despite all the hardship, she always smiled. She is my hero.”

If only we could all have a hunky husband like John Cena, 44! The WWE star proved he is the best husband when he carried his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh’s, bags through JFK airport in New York on August 23. The couple looked adorable as they traveled together while John wheeled both his and Shay’s massive black suitcases. Shay is one lucky lady, considering all she needed to do was carry her purse around. You can see the photos HERE.

For the outing, John opted to wear a navy blue fitted floral button-down shirt with dark-wash jeans, a Yankees baseball cap, black sneakers, and a face mask. Meanwhile, Shay looked just as casual in a pair of tight high-waisted blue jeans with a gray T-shirt, white sneakers, and a mask.

When the couple isn’t dressed down, they clean up quite nicely and that’s exactly what they did at the premiere of his latest film, The Suicide Squad, in Los Angeles on August 2. They looked madly in love as they shared a kiss on the red carpet and we love that John was in his superhero costume for the movie at the event.

Charlotte Flair is hoping to get involved in John Cena and Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship battle later tonight, Aug. 21.

Charlotte Flair, 35, has been named WWE Women’s Champion many times before, and just before she takes part in this year’s epic SummerSlam on Peacock on Aug. 21, the WWE superstar told us she’ll be attempting to get that title back around her waist. She also said she may have other plans for the big night — plans to protect her family’s legacy and championship records.

The queen of the WWE, who is also the daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, said she’s thinking about getting involved in the match between John Cena and Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, as she might look to ruin John’s goal of becoming a record-breaking 17-time champion.

“That would be very Charlotte-esque of her to do that,” she EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. “I feel that is very in her character. I think there might be a chance. You know what, come to think of it, I am the one who is going to break it!”

Charlotte, also known as “The Opportunity”, might be able to kill two birds with one stone because she feels like she has an advantage over her opponents in her Triple Threat Championship Match. She told us, “With the character of Charlotte, I feel like I am always the target and that is why I call myself The Opportunity and I feel I am a target regardless. What they have to deal with is that out of everyone in the division I have the most experience with triple threat matches, so they have to deal with that, and they have to deal with my history with the audience. I feed off the biggest stages. I think that is where I do my best work, so fifty-five thousand people at Allegiant Stadium, I am ready, and I am so excited!”

It’s still unclear whether Charlotte will win her championship back or thwart John Cena from winning another one himself, but no matter what, he should watch his back because as they say in the WWE, anything can happen.

John Cena, 44, and his wife Shay Shariatzadeh didn’t hide their love for each other when they showed up dressed to impress to the premiere of his latest film, The Suicide Squad in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 2! The WWE star shared a passionate kiss with the dark-haired beauty as he wore the same red, blue, and white superhero outfit he wears in the movie. She also wowed in a colorful striped metallic dress and strappy black heels.

In addition to proudly flaunting PDA, the lovebirds posed for cute pics on the red carpet as they held onto each other and smiled for the cameras. Shay was fully supportive of her hubby as she stood beside him and rocked stylish earrings to top off her epic look.

In The Suicide Squad, which is based on the DC Comics team of the same name, John played the role of Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, who is labeled as a ruthless killer who will try and achieve peace no matter what it takes. Other high profile celebs in the film include Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Sylvester Stallone, and Viola Davis.

John and Shay’s appearance at the L.A. premiere comes just a month after they made headlines when John admitted he’s open to having kids. The lovebirds tied the knot in 2020 after dating for several months and it seems everything is going well as they have starting a family on their minds. “I’m a little bit older, a bit wiser. I’m realizing there is life and life exists and it’s beautiful — and I think part of that is being a parent, so we’ll see,” he told the British outlet The Sun in June.

John’s comment was a bit surprising considering his ex Nikki Bella, 37, whom he was romantically involved with for six years, claimed one of the reasons for their 2018 split was because he didn’t want kids. Christian Convery is the next big thing in Hollywood, and he’s only 11 years old. He stars in the new Netflix series ‘Sweet Tooth.’ Here are 5 key things to know about the talented young actor.

Christian Convery is about to captivate millions of Netflix viewers. The 11-year-old stars in Sweet Tooth, launching June 4, as a hybrid deer-boy named Gus, who has spent his life living in his secluded forest home. The series is based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire and executive produced by Jim Mickle, Beth Schwartz, Robert Downey, Jr., Susan Downey, Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran.

Even though he’s just 11 years old, Christian has already starred in a number of films and TV shows. In addition to his acting talents, he also has some incredible music skills. HollywoodLife has rounded up 5 things to know about Christian.

1. Christian has the leading role in ‘Sweet Tooth.’

Christian plays Gus, who was born part human and part deer. After living a sheltered life in the forest, Gus befriends a wandering loner named Jepperd. They end up going on an extraordinary adventure across what’s left of America after “The Great Crumble.” Along the way, they search for answers about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s past, and the true meaning of home. Gus and Jepperd also face enemies in this dangerous new world. Christian stars alongside Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Will Forte as Gus’ father, Dania Ramirez as Aimee, and Stefania LaVie Owen as Becky.

2. His first role was in 2016. 

Christian’s first gig was the TV movie Hearts of Spring in 2016. He was just 6 years old when it came out! He guest-starred on a number of TV shows after that, notably playing young David in Legion. Christian also starred in several holiday TV movies. He starred alongside John Cena in the movie Playing with Fire, as well as Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell in Beautiful Boy.

3. Christian can play the guitar. 

The young actor has a multitude of talents! Christian has posted a number of videos of himself playing the guitar on his Instagram page. He’s played hits by The Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, and more.

Meghan McCain is infamous for her fiery clashes with her co-hosts on ‘The View,’ but it turns out her mom doesn’t always approve.

Meghan McCain‘s mom Cindy McCain opened up to Andy Cohen during a recent interview on his Sirius XM show, and admitted that she’s not always a fan of her daughter’s on-screen antics on The View.

When Andy asked Cindy if she’s ever bothered by Meghan’s arguments with her co-hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin, the matriarch revealed her relatable reaction.

[Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock]“Yeah, from a mom – you teach your children to be polite and be nice to other people and all that kind of stuff, and it does make me cringe a little bit,” Cindy revealed. “But again, it’s her job and it’s what she does, and it’s Whoopi’s job to keep the peace, so I understand everything that’s going on there. But as a mom, yeah, it does bother me a little bit.”

Cindy, 67, had plenty of praise for her 36-year-old daughter as well, during the on-air interview. “I think she’s doing a great job,” she told Andy. “She stands up for what she believes in and that’s all that you can ask for. And she’s also really smart. So I appreciate what she does. I don’t always agree with her, but I do appreciate it.”

Meghan’s mom also conceded that her daughter’s combative nature isn’t anything new and revealed that her family nickname is “John McCain in a dress.”

Meghan’s most recent on-air clash came on the May 24 episode of The View, after the co-hosts started a lively debate about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene‘s anti-Semitic remarks. But things quickly devolved into chaos with Whoopi being forced to cut to commercial break multiple times during the segment.

The following day Meghan took the anger she usually reserves for her co-hosts on The View, and turned it on John Cena. “You absolutely spineless, chickenshit, pathetic coward,” she tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

Meghan was furious at John, 44, for apologizing after he referred to Taiwan as an independent country and not as part of China while promoting his new film, F9. Meghan wasn’t the only one seeing red over John’s apology. A long list of political commentators attacked John and accused him of turning his back on the Taiwanese people out of fear of upsetting the Chinese movie-going public.

With her outraged jacked up to 11, Meghan McCain tore into the ‘cowardly’ John Cena after the ‘F9’ star seemingly caved in China and apologized for calling Taiwan a country.

“You absolutely spineless, chickenshit, pathetic coward,” Meghan McCain tweeted on Tuesday afternoon (May 25), blasting John Cena with the anger she usually reserves for her co-hosts on The View. Meghan, 36, was furious at John, 44, for apologizing after he referred to Taiwan as an independent country and not as part of China while promoting his new film, F9. Meghan was one of the many political commentators who trashed John for seemingly turning his back on the Taiwanese people out of fear of upsetting the Chinese movie-viewing public.

“Taiwan is a country. Hong Kong should be free. If you are unwilling to say these things because it might hurt your bottom line, you are a pathetic coward​,” tweeted Ben Shapiro, the conservative commentator best known for getting in a tizzy over Harry Styles a dress and for losing it at the thought of Cardi B having fun during sex. “Pathetic,” tweeted U.S. Senator Tom Cotton, a man who opposed establishing an independent commission over the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection but, in his New York Times op-ed, supported siccing the national guard on people protesting police brutality.

“How shameful, Cena,” tweeted Keith Olbermann, showing this outrage wasn’t reserved for one side of the political aisle. “Taiwan is a country – and a democracy. You just apologized to a dictatorship.” “Why not call a decades-long healthy and functioning democracy a country? Because much of Hollywood operates in fear of Beijing, many of its blockbuster movies dependent on the mainland Chinese market,” tweeted CNN anchor Jim Sciutto, pointing out what was likely the real reason behind John’s apology.

China considers Taiwan, a self-ruled democratic island, to be a “breakaway providence” and, ultimately, a part of China, per The New York Times. Referring to it as a separate entity is considered an offense in China due to its great sense of nationalism. So, when John, while speaking to Taiwanese Broadcaster TVBS, said that “Taiwan is the first country that I can watch” the new movie, F9, he threatened to upset the Chinese movie-viewing audience. So, he issued a response.

“I made a mistake,” said John in Mandarin, a language he has been studying for years, on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. “Now I have to say one thing which is very, very, very important: I love and respect China and Chinese people. I’m very sorry for my mistakes. Sorry. Sorry. I’m really sorry. You have to understand that I love and respect China and Chinese people.” John’s apology wasn’t universally accepted, with many Weibo users demanding he says that Taiwan is part of China.

As Jim Sciutto pointed out, John’s mea culpa was likely due to how China is a major market for movies. The ninth Fast & The Furious film earned $162 million internationally over the previous weekend, with $135 million from China alone, per Business Insider. It’s the first Hollywood movie since Avengers: Endgame to crack $100 million in its opening weekend. The last two films in the franchise  – Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious – both grossed more than $1 billion globally, with nearly $390 million of that in China. One can see why John did his best to quell any Chinese anger regarding his comment. Unfortunately, that apology left some people — like Meghan —  seeing red.

John Cena was spotted looking incredibly fit while getting out of a vehicle and going to a training session in Vancouver during a day off from filming his upcoming series ‘Peacemaker’.

John Cena, 43, was looking incredibly buff during his latest public outing! The wrestler was photographed while getting out of a vehicle in Vancouver, Canada on Feb. 21 as he headed to a training session in a tight white T-shirt and black shorts. His arm and leg muscles were on full display as he held a cup of a warm beverage and wore a black face mask.

John was also holding a black bag and wearing white socks and black sneakers. He looked relaxed as he walked on the wet pavement from the rain and his brown locks were short like he usually keeps them.

The outing comes at the same time John has been filming his upcoming series Peacemaker. It’s an HBO Max spinoff in which he will play the character from The Suicide Squad movie, which will be released on Aug. 6. News of the new spinoff was announced back in Sept. and will explore the origins of the character, who’s known as Peacemaker (real name: Christopher Smith), a ruthless killer who believes in achieving peace no matter the cost.

In addition to a booming career, John has been enjoying a great personal life. He shocked everyone when he married Shay Shariatzadeh last year. The lovebirds got hitched in a private Florida ceremony on Oct. 12 without previously announcing any engagement. Their whirlwind romance started in March 2019 and that month,they were first spotted enjoying a dinner together that reportedly lasted four hours in Vancouver.

After their first date, they were seen on multiple occasions and weren’t afraid to show off PDA whenever they felt like it. One outing included them passionately kissing at a San Diego airport in Apr. 2019 and their red carpet debut happened that Oct. at the premiere of John’s film Playing With Fire. John also gushed over his lady love as well as the film to a reporter at the latter event.

“What’s truly special about this one is that, no matter what projects I’m involved in the future, this one will always have a special meaning because I got to film a special project and meet someone special,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

Nikki Bella was happy to hear from her ex John Cena after she gave birth to her son Matteo in July. But how did her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev react?

Nikki Bella, 36, and her ex-fiancé John Cena, 43, broke up in 2018, after six years together, but they still keep in touch — and her current fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, 38, is totally fine with it. Nikki told Page Six, on Tuesday, that the Dancing with the Stars pro, who she shares infant son Matteo with, is “so secure” in the relationship that it didn’t bother him when John reached out.

“That’s what I love about Artem,” the star of Total Bellas shared with the news outlet, “He’s just so comfortable in his own skin, in our relationship. He’s so secure – which he should be – that we could literally be friends with exes and it doesn’t bother us.”

The dark haired reality beauty made sure to clarify in the interview that John sent his congratulatory message in a group text to her and twin sister Brie Bella — who gave birth to son Buddy on Aug. 1, just one day after Nikki delivered Matteo.

“He congratulated us about the babies, but that was group text, not individual to me,” the former WWE star explained, “I haven’t talked to John in a conversation in a long time, well over a year.”

Brie added, “I think, too, because he was so close with our family and when we have big milestones, like when the book came out and having the babies, he’ll put us on a group text to send congratulations.”

Nikki and John famously split over her desire for a family. John was clear that he did not want children and they announced they were going their separate ways on Apr. 15, 2018, just a month before their scheduled destination wedding. “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” they told fans at the time.

Nikki quickly fell in love with her former DWTS pro partner Artem, and the two got engaged in Nov. 2019 while celebrating her birthday in France. Then, eight months later they welcomed their first child. The new family hardly had any time together before Artem had to begin work on Season 29 of DWTS, where he’s partnered with former The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Artem and Kaitlyn are still going strong on the competition show and Nikki’s been “feeling lonely.” During a recent Instagram live chat with Katherine Schwarzenegger she admitted that she’s counting down the days until the season is over and she can have her man back!

“I was like, ‘I just feel lonely’,” Nikki recalled herself telling Artem the other night. “I’m counting down to the season finale [of DWTS], which is in two weeks, because I’m like, I’m finally going to have my fiancé back,” Nikki revealed during livestream. She added, “And we’re going to be a family. And hopefully that loneliness will go away. But I feel like that’s increased so much.”

For his part, John has moved on as well. In March 2019 he started dating Shay Shariatzadeh, and last month the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Tampa, Florida.

Once upon a time, Nikki Bella and John Cena were the star couple of the WWE world. Despite ending their relationship for good in July of 2018, Nikki still took notice when her ex-fiancé secretly married Shay Shariatzadeh, 30 (a product manager for Sonatype) in Tampa, Florida on Oct. 12! HollywoodLife has learned from multiple sources how Nikki feels about the surprise nuptials.

“Nikki is really happy for John that he has found someone to share his life with and wishes nothing but the best for him and Shay,” a source close to Nikki EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. “Nikki is living her best life and only hopes for the best for them, as well. She is in such a different chapter of her life and feels so blessed to have all her hopes and dreams come true.”

Like John, Nikki has also moved on to a new lover: her former dance partner on Dancing with the Stars, Artem Chigvintsev, whom she welcomed a son named Matteo with this past July. “She’s still adjusting to the thrill of motherhood and can’t wait to marry Artem in her dream wedding,” our source continues. Artem proposed to Nikki in Nov. 2019, and the Total Bellas star is still waiting to join the married life like John. However, “Nikki couldn’t ask for anything more and she’s glad that John found everything he’s looking for, too,” our source clarifies.

A second source reveals how John and Nikki feel about each other now, two years after the split that broke WWE fans’ hearts at the time. “Nikki and John had a relationship and friendship that was as unique as possible and the time they spent together will never be forgotten. But with the heartache that relationship brought there is still an endless amount of respect,” a second source who’s close to the exes EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.

Despite their respect for one another, there was one major issue in the relationship: John didn’t want kids, and Nikki did. However, John did offer to reverse his vasectomy to make Nikki happy, but she didn’t want him to go through with something that he didn’t really wish for. “John is a class act and Nikki is no nonsense. She is now a mother and has a beautiful child she never would have had with John,” our second source adds. “The life she had with John was great, but the life she has now is greater and she only hopes he can say the same. She is very happy for his happiness.”

While Nikki Bella is engaged to and has a baby with her ‘DWTS’ pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, she insists that there were no sparks during the competition, as she was still with John Cena.

John Cena was right there playing supportive fiance to Nikki Bella when she competed on Season 25 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2017 with pro-partner Artem Chigvintsev. While Nikki and the 38-year-old dancer are now engaged and have a nearly three-month old baby boy together, she says there was “no attraction” to Artem when they were getting so physical on the dance floor. On the Oct. 13 episode of The Bellas podcast with her sister Brie, Nikki and guest Lisa Vanderpump, 60, shared notes about their experiences with their hot dance partners. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa competed on season 16 of DWTS with hunky Gleb Savchenko.

“Did you know you were attracted to him? Did you I feel ‘I’m being unfaithful to my fiance?’” Lisa quizzed Nikki, 36, who told her, “That’s the crazy thing being with him (Artem) now, is there was none of those feelings at all.” Lisa even laughed, “I don’t believe you. You cannot tell me that when you were dancing with him!”

New mom Nikki explained, “I think being an athlete…when I did Dancing it was the first time I was ever vulnerable with a man. And that’s where the bond started to touch. I was thinking of the steps the whole time. Where I got the bond was having to depend on him. And I never had to depend on a man before.”

Nikki said that she did feel a bond as partners with Artem, because the experience was so new and intimidating for her. “You definitely get an emotional bond with them because it’s so scary and you’re so out of your comfort zone…dancing live on TV, being judged in front of the world to see. I’ve never been that nervous, ever,” she confessed.

Nikki and Lisa then discussed the physicality and sensuality of the moves they shared with their DWTS partners. The Vanderpump Rules star admitted, “You do get up close and personal with them, I have to say. You have a bond with your dancing partner,” to which the former WWE star agreed. But she wasn’t totally comfortable with it.

“You know what was weird for me? Cause I was actually engaged at the time and we were together six years at that point. The one thing that was awkward for me was — I don’t know if you remember in some of [the] dance moves — when their leg had to be in between your leg or when their face was close,” Nikki described. “I remember…it was the first time a man’s leg, other than my fiancé’s was in between mine and I was like, ‘Whoa!’ It was weird.”

Nikki and John ended up calling off their engagement in April 2018, as she ultimately wanted a family and he did not want children. Once she was ready to get back on the dating scene, she remembered the connection she had with Artem. The two began seeing each other in March 2019, with their romance being featured on Nikki and Brie’s E! reality show Total Bellas. The couple got engaged in Nov. 2019, but waited to share the good news to their fans on Jan. 3, 2020.  At the end of that month, the pair had even bigger news, announcing Nikki’s pregnancy. They welcomed their first child, son Matteo, on July 31, 2020. John has since tied the knot with girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh on Oct. 12 in Florida after a year and a half of dating.

Artem Chigvintsev is on a roll. Less than a month after welcoming his first child with fiancee Nikki Bella, 36, on July 31, he’s returning to his position as a pro-partner on Dancing with the Stars. He was surprisingly not asked back for season 28 after eight seasons on the ABC show, but was revealed to be part of the revamped season 29 on Aug. 24, six days after the main list of pro’s had been released. That means 8-12 hour dance rehearsals with his celebrity partner, and a lot of time away from his infant son and future wife. But his former WWE star sweetheart is happy that her man’s going back to doing what he loves career-wise.

“Nikki couldn’t be more excited for Artem to return to Dancing With the Stars. She knows that’s his passion and she’ll be cheering him on from home the whole time,” a source close to the Bella twins tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Nikki would never think about holding Artem back from doing what he loves and she knows he’s the same way about her passions.”

“They completely support each other’s dreams and she’s confident that his health and well-being will be well protected (against COVID-19). Nikki knows the show’s production will put every safety precaution into place and the biggest hurdle she’ll have to deal with is how much she’s going to miss him,” our insider continues. “But she has a huge support system around her and she’s just thrilled Artem is getting back into doing what he loves.” Nikki and Artem met when he was her pro-partner during DWTS season 25, when she was still with former fiance John Cena, 43. Nikki and Artem began dating after John and Nikki’s 2018 breakup.

They are well aware that regular non celebs who are teachers and firefighters or in the military are away from their family on all different levels. This is the ‘normal’ that they live and they are going to make it work.”
