Meow! Kate McKinnon and Ego Nwodim hilariously crashed Zoe Kravitz’s SNL monologue dressed as different cat women.

They say when the bat’s away, the cat will play…and Hollywood’s latest Catwoman Zoe Kravitz did just that as she hosted ‘Saturday Night Live‘ for the first time on Mar. 12. Joined by musical guest Rosalía, Zoe was more than excited to take the stage for her monologue…but unfortunately, she’d be hilariously interrupted first by a latex-clad Kate McKinnon and Ego Nwodim channeling their own “Cat Women.”

‘The Batman’ star, 33, started off her night of comedy strong with a hilarious cold open. Taking the stage in a simple white cropped shirt and black pants, Zoe excitedly cut to the chase to begin her monologue…until she was interrupted by a latex-clad Kate, channeling Michelle Pfeiffer‘s version of the classic Catwoman character. Kate could barely keep a straight face as she joked about her ‘origin’ story and showed off her cat signal.

But the Catwomen wouldn’t stop coming. SNL cast members Ego Nwodim and Aidy Bryant also took on versions of the character. Aidy hilariously channeled more of a “cat lady,” bringing along her furry friend and even calling the cat her “husband.” The sketch perfectly skewered Zoe’s latest big role, and the many cat women danced together happily on stage after Zoe welcomed in the rest of the show.

It’s been a big year for Zoe, who took a break from her glamourous press tour alongside ‘The Batman‘ co-star Robert Pattinson for Saturday’s hosting slot. After starring in the smaller HBO drama Kimi, Zoe’s film career is back with a vengeance as she takes on the iconic role of Selina Kyle, AKA Catwoman, opposite Rob’s reclusive and angsty Bruce Wayne. The highly-anticipated film has already been receiving rave reviews, and Zöe’s famous entourage from boyfriend Channing Tatum to stepdad Jason Momoa all showed up to support her at the star-studded premiere.

Zoe was first announced as an SNL host on Feb. 17, via the show’s iconic post-it note announcement format on their Instagram. In promos for the show, Zoe rocked a flowing all-black outfit and straight pixie cut as she previewed the show alongside Rosalía and cast members Chris Redd and Mikey Day. Trading laughs with the cast, Zoe looked natural and happy on stage, and clearly kept that energy throughout each sketch on Saturday night.

In the clip, Zoe and Rosalia excitedly bonded over the fact that they’re doing their first promo together– Rosalía also celebrated her first time on the SNL stage with this week’s episode. Although the stunning duo may have been rookies, they made the moment their own, and Zoe’s hilarious turn proved exactly why she’s the star of the moment.

Meow… Zoë Kravitz is stepping into the iconic role of Catwoman in ‘The Batman.’ She’s not the first talented actress to take on the legendary character. Let’s take a look back at the fierce women who’ve played the Cat.

Catwoman is one of the most famous comic book characters of all time. She’s the one who always keeps Batman on his toes and tempts him at every turn. Catwoman is back on the big screen in The Batman, with Zoë Kravitz assuming the role of the feline fatale.

Zoë joins a long list of incredible women who have transformed into Catwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle. From Catwoman’s early days on TV to her many film interpretations, each actress makes the character their own. Take a look at the Catwoman actresses through the years.

Zoë, 33, takes on the Catwoman mantle in The Batman, the latest film adaptation about The Dark Knight. Zoë stars alongside Robert Pattinson, who plays Bruce Wayne/Batman. The actress revealed that her interpretation of Catwoman includes an “emotional journey.”

She told Total Film, “To see a person like Selina really get in touch with her power and become Catwoman? That’s a journey that I’m really interested in exploring. We haven’t quite seen that yet. We usually meet Catwoman, and it’s either a very quick transformation – an overnight thing – or she’s already there. And so to find the emotional journey that brings her to the place where she is making the choice to be this person is what I’m really excited about.”

Zoë was asked if Selina was bisexual in a recent interview with Pedestrian when talking about Selina’s friend Anika. “That’s definitely the way I interpreted that, that they had some kind of romantic relationship,” the actress said.

Prior to The Batman, Zoë was best known for her role on Big Little Lies and High Fidelity. She is the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz.

Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer, 63, made her Catwoman debut in the 1992 film Batman Returns alongside Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito. Her portrayal of the sexy femme fatale has gone as one of her best performances. However, Michelle wasn’t originally cast as Catwoman. Annette Bening was cast as Catwoman but had to drop out when she became pregnant. That’s when Michelle stepped in, and the rest is history.

Michelle’s Catwoman costume instantly became iconic. The skintight latex outfit wasn’t the easiest to perform in, though. “It was the most uncomfortable costume I’ve ever been in,” Michelle told THR. “They had to powder me down, help me inside and then vacuum-pack the suit. They’d paint it with a silicon-based finish to give it its trademark shine. I had those claws, and I was always catching them in things. The face mask was smashing my face and choking me…we had a lot of bugs to work out.”

Michael is set to reprise his role as Batman in the upcoming film The Flash. Michelle would be down to bring her version of Catwoman back as well. “I would if anyone asked me but no one’s asked me yet,” Michelle told ScreenRant in 2021. Make it happen, people!

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway, 39, starred as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. The third film in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy featured Christian Bale as The Dark Knight. Anne’s performance was praised and the film was a massive blockbuster.

Ahead of Zoë’s debut as Catwoman, Anne raved to Collider that Zoë was “a perfect choice” for the character. Anne also sent her love to Zoë when she was officially cast in 2019. “The biggest congrats to @zoeisabellakravitz on landing the role of a lifetime. Well, one life anyway…⁣⁣ Enjoy the ride, Selina,” Anne wrote on Instagram.

Halle Berry

Catwoman got her first (and so far only) standalone movie in 2004 with Halle Berry, 55, taking on the role. While the movie ended up being a box-office bomb, the Oscar winner has no regrets about playing the legendary character.

“Everybody around me said, ‘Girl, don’t do it. It’s going to be the death of you. It’s going to end your career.’ But guess what I did? I followed my intuition and I did a movie called Catwoman and it bombed miserably,” Halle said in 2018. “While it failed to most people, it wasn’t a failure for me because I met so many interesting people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise, I learned two forms of martial arts and I learned not what to do.” She added that she also made “a sh*t-load of money that changed my life.”

Camren Bicondova

Camren Bicondova, 22, played a young Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the FOX series Gotham, which ran for 5 seasons from 2014 to 2019. The series followed a young Bruce Wayne after the death of his parents and before he becomes Batman.

“The only three words that I can describe this experience with are awesome, an honor and grateful,” Camren told Collider in 2014. “Every synonym of those three words is me, at the moment.  It’s great.  I’m getting to show a side of Selina Kyle that nobody’s ever seen before, and that’s cool. I feel pretty special.”

Both Bruce and Selina are teens during the majority of Gotham’s run. The series finale featured a time jump and Lili Simmons assumed the role of adult Catwoman.

Julie Newmar

Julie Newmar, now 88, made history as the first woman to play Catwoman onscreen. She starred for two seasons as Catwoman in the Batman TV series. At the time, Adam West played the Caped Crusader. Julie set the bar high for the character in the ’60s and remains an inspiration.

“I’m realizing that through all the shows I’ve done — the television, film and stage — all the mediums I’ve worked in, Catwoman’s costume was the one that allowed me to tell the story through my body,” Julie told Bring Me The News. “The words were brilliant, and funny on top of that. The producer hired the right people to do all the lighting, to do this, that and the other, and it was the right time in the right decade. It all worked.”

Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt played Catwoman in the third and final season of the Batman TV series. Even though she only played the character for a handful of episodes, her performance is a memorable one. She made history as the first Black Catwoman. Eartha passed away in 2008 at the age of 82 after a battle with colon cancer.

Michelle Pfeiffer has been married to her TV producer hubby for 28 years! Before David E. Kelley, she was married one other time. Find out more about the star’s husband and ex here!

Michelle Pfeiffer is a Hollywood icon! The 63-year-old movie star has oozed glamour and glitz since she started turning heads as a beauty pageant winner in Southern California. After agents quickly took notice of the blonde bombshell, Michelle was cast in Grease 2, where she  showcased both her acting and singing talents. But it was her breakout role in 1983’s Scarface as gangster girlfriend Elvira Hancock opposite Al Pacino that really put her on the map. After huge box office hits like The Witches of Eastwick, Michelle would go on to earn back-to-back Academy Award nominations for Dangerous Liaisons and The Fabulous Baker Boys.

Alongside her success in Tinseltown, Michelle found a winning streak with her husband David E. Kelley. The actress has been married to the TV producer/ writer for 28 years! Before David, she had one other husband, ex Peter Horton. Find out more about David and Peter here!

Peter Horton

Michelle met her first husband, Peter, in an acting class in Los Angeles. They were married in a small wedding in Santa Monica in 1981, just months before she found out she won the lead role in Grease 2. Peter himself would find parts in St. Elsewhere, Eight is Enough and Dallas. He had some luck on the big screen too, starring in the Stephen King adaptation of Children of the Corn, alongside a young Linda Hamilton. His breakthrough came when he was cast in the popular TV drama Thirtysomething in 1987.

The couple would even work together when Peter directed her in a 1985 made-for-TV movie called One Too Many, where she played the high school girlfriend of an alcoholic jock. Aside from helping guide her career, Michelle also credits Peter for “saving” her from a “breatharianism” cult, which believed humans could live as plants on air and sunlight alone, per her 2013 interview with The Sunday Telegraph. Peter was doing research at the time on a movie about another alleged cult, the Moonies, when the couple began discussing her experiences. “We were talking with an ex-Moonie and he was describing the psychological manipulation, and I just clicked,” she told the outlet. “I was in one.”

The pair would eventually split in 1988. “I married Peter at a very young age,” Michelle told Parade in 2012, revealing why the marriage failed. “I’m not the same person I was then. I forget I was even married before.” Peter has gone on to have success directing several TV shows like The Wonder Years and producing such hits as Grey’s Anatomy.

David E. Kelley

Eight months after Michelle adopted her daughter, Claudia Rose, she walked down the aisle with David in 1993. Claudia was even christened at the wedding! While Michelle is incredibly talented in front of the camera, her better half is no slouch behind it, as he has 11 Emmy Awards to prove it. The uber TV producer and creator has lent his magic touch to such hit series as L.A. Law, The Practice, Ally McBeal and Chicago Hope. More recently he has produced Pretty Little Lies, Goliath and Nine Perfect Strangers.

Michelle appeared adamant about not mixing her personal life with her professional one on her second go at marriage. “I’ve seen a lot of couples where they seem to have a really great marriage, and then they work together and next year they’re filing for divorce,” she told The New Yorker. She and David did try their hand at one project together, however, when he wrote the adapted screenplay form1996’s To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday, which starred Michelle alongside Peter Gallagher.

In August 1994, Michelle and David welcomed son, John Henry. The actress has publicly gushed about David being an incredible father to both John and Claudia. “I chose really well with David. I got really lucky,” she told Parade. And the pair are still going strong. In 2020, Michele shared a heartfelt Instagram post to mark her anniversary with the Big Little Lies producer. “My one and only for 27 years. Happy Anniversary to my love @davidekelleyproductions,” she wrote.

SiR – La Lisa Lyrics

Play this song

[Verse 1: SiR]
No, it ain’t a question, not even an issue
Nobody knows you like I know ya’
You grew up on Queen Street, your dad is a gangsta’
But he’s gettin’ rolled up
You’re was in love with the street life
Used to seein’ niggas [?] the heath right
Live parties and street fights
Hangin’ with the players, got caught in the game
Now you in need of seating, but ain’t we all the same
I thought if we make it out alive
You might give you part to my side
Guess we’ll have to wait and see
If you’ll find your way to me

[Chorus: SiR]
La Lisa
La Lisa
La Lisa
I need ya’

[Verse 2: Smino]
Right, I’ma stack these up right
That’s my cuz, so he gangbang
But I don’t claim shit, nah, no baggage
Not even a briefcase, you’re more street than me, but
Don’t leave me [?] out this way
Get a little ratchet, stay over color, your box
Don’t tell your daddy, he might go crayola
Hurry up and come outside
I got the wheel parked, it’s ’bout to get dark
I’m talkin’ Weasley, and we out West, you know it be
Sit these niggas on your block
And I can’t do dolo this time, on a solo this time like CeCe
[?] no whinin’
I ain’t finna’ play with you, I’m tryna skate with you
Like T.I. [?] on the cops late at night like Fatlib
I’m fallin’, she got used to them [?] she a [?]
Darlin’, Miss Lisa, she a moaner
So bad, put your ass in the moment
Yes, put that on my momma
Pour more wet, it’s a moment
She finally took to my house
And threw it back like [?], it made me speak portuguese
Didn’t even know I could
We wanted this for a while
We keep it between you and me, capice, Lisa

[Chorus: SiR]
La Lisa
La Lisa
La Lisa
I need ya’

[Outro]
I can’t belive this nigga ain’t call me back
Ol’ Chief Keef head ass, Michelle Pfeiffer of 8 Mile lookin’ head ass
He ain’t call me back? (Can’t believe this)
I bet he don’t even write his songs
Talkin’ ’bout, talkin’ ’bout he the king of RnB
That nigga can’t even move like Usher
Ain’t Chris workin’ on something? (He trippin’) Mhmm
I thought we had a good time
Well I had a good time, that we was fire bro

Taylor Swift – Riptide Lyrics

I was scared of dentists and the dark
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations
Oh, all my friends are turning green
You’re the magician’s assistant in their dreams

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

There’s this movie that I think you’ll like
This guy decides to quit his job and heads to New York City
This cowboy’s running from himself
And she’s been living on the highest shelf

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

I just wanna, I just wanna know
If you’re gonna, if you’re gonna stay
I just gotta, I just gotta know
I can’t have it, I can’t have it any other way
I swear she’s destined for the screen
Closest thing to Michelle Pfeiffer that you’ve ever seen, oh

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because

Oh lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
