Nicole Young, Dr. Dre’s wife of 24 years, shocked fans when she filed for divorce from the rapper on June 29 and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the cause. Here are five things you should know about her.

Dr. Dre, 55, and his wife Nicole Young, 50, are starting their summer off with a shocking split after 24 years of marriage. The news made headlines after Nicole filed for divorce from the rapper on June 29 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the decision. The former lovebirds were married on May 25, 1996 and share two adult children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19, together so it doesn’t look like there will be any child support issues involved.

Here are five things you should know about Nicole and her past and present with Dre.

1.) She is seeking spousal support during the divorce. The former couple had no prenup arrangement, according to TMZ, so things may get messy when it comes to finances. It’s not clear how much Nicole is asking for, but Dre is worth an estimated $800 million and she is working with celebrity attorney Samantha Spector, who is known for working with high-profile people.

2.) Before marrying Dre, she was married to NBA player Sedale Threatt. Nicole, whose maiden name is Plotzker, married Sedale in 1992 and they were together for about three years before deciding to go their separate ways. The brunette beauty was still with Sedale when she met Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, and according to HipHopDX, Dre wrote her a letter in 1995 that read, “Hopefully you doing well and you realized you need to quit f***ing with Sedale and come home to your doctor. I will take care of you baby girl.” They married the next year.

3.) She was a stepmother to Dre’s older kids from his previous relationships. They include daughter Tyra, son Curtis, 38, whose mother is Cassandra Greene, daughter La Tanya, 37, whose mother is Lisa Johnson, son Marcel, 29, whose mother is singer Michel’le, and daughter Latoya. Dre also had a son Andre Young Jr., who tragically died of a drug overdose at the age of 20 in 2008.

4.) It’s been reported that she worked as an attorney but there’s no proof of the claims. TMZ and other outlets have reported the alleged career but there doesn’t appear to be a record of her practicing law in the state of California and she isn’t listed on the State Bar of California’s website, according to Heavy. There’s also no knowledge of where or when she received a law degree.

5.) She and Dre appeared very happy in the last Instagram photo he posted with her. In the pic, which was posted in Sept. 2018, the former lovebirds can be seen sitting next to each other with huge smiles on their faces. “Was just an average Tuesday. This is what the f*ck we do!!!” the caption for the pic read.

NBA fans seriously couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw a new video of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic looking incredibly slim. Is that really him?

Three months have passed since the NBA suspended its season due to coronavirus concerns, and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic apparently took that time off to become a whole new man. NBA fans were shocked to see a video of the Serbian power forward, 25, hanging out on the court with his teammates, looking much slimmer than he did before the break. In fact, he’s practically unrecognizable.

If you can’t tell, Nikola is the handsome dude in the olive bomber jacket in the video above. At the beginning of last season Nikola weighed in at 284. His Denver Nuggets teammates and front office have teased recently that Nikola would be in incredible shape when the league returns in July. Nuggets president Tim Connelly told ESPN recently, “[Nikola] sent me a picture. No shirt on. He’s got abs. I’ve never seen him have abs before.”

Needless to say, Denver Nuggets fans are seriously impressed with the work that Nikola has put in. They piled on the compliments on Twitter after seeing the video. “National media thought Murray and everyone on the team were exaggerating when they said dude has abs now lol,” one incredulous fan laughed. “Two months without american food,” another joked. “Got sick of the fat jokes real quick,” a fan theorized.

It’s unclear how much weight the NBA star has lost, but a subsequent tweet from sports reporter Bojan Brezovac says “Jokic at minus 20 kg” — that’s 44 pounds down for Nikola, who stands at 7 feet tall. Will Nikola’s new and improved physique help him on the court? He’s already an incredible player. The Denver Nuggets were 43-22 when the season paused in March 2020, partly thanks to Nikola’s 20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game. Prior to the break, the Nuggets were in third place in the Western Conference.

Former NBA superstar and Georgetown University men’s basketball Head Coach Patrick Ewing has tested positive for COVID-19. He is ‘under care’ and isolated at a Washington D.C. area hospital.

Even fit 7 ft. tall NBA legends aren’t immune from contracting the coronavirus. Former New York Knicks superstar Patrick Ewing has announced that he’s tested positive for COVID-19, and is urging people that the virus is “not to be taken lightly.” The 57-year-old Georgetown Hoyas men’s basketball head coach made the announcement on May 22 via Twitter, revealing that he’s in isolation while hospitalized. His statement came via the Georgetown Athletics Department, as Ewing wanted to go public to make people “aware that this virus can affect anyone.”

“I want to share that I have tested positive for COVID-19. This virus is serious and should not be taken lightly,” the NBA Hall of Famer wrote in a tweet. “I want to encourage everyone to stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Now more than ever, I want to thank the health care workers and everyone on the front lines. I’ll be fine and we will all get through this.”

The announcement added that Ewing “is under care and isolated at a local hospital. He is the only member of the Georgetown men’s basketball program to have tested positive for the virus.” The statement did not reveal the extent of how severe Ewing’s case of COVID-19 is, or how he might have contracted the virus. Patrick is divorced with three adult children.

Ewing played 15 storied seasons for the New York Knicks between 1985-2000, joining the squad as a rookie. He then played two more seasons, in Seattle then Orlando, before retiring from NBA play in 2002. But that was as a player. Ewing stayed in the league, going on to hold assistant coaching positions in Washington, Houston, Orlando and Charlotte before being named the head coach at Georgetown in 2017. The school is his alma mater and where he played NCAA hoops from 1981-1985. We wish Patrick a healthy recovery.

Larsa Pippen is revealing the real reason her marriage to NBA legend Scottie Pippen broke down and she says it doesn’t involve infidelity.

Larsa Pippen, 45, wants to make one thing absolutely clear. She did not cheat on her estranged husband, Scottie Pippen. In fact, the mother-of-four says that she and the former Chicago Bulls player are still “best friends” and that – even though they are in the middle of a divorce – they still love each other and he comes round to her house “every day.” “People want to hate on me thinking I cheated on him… and that’s not even the case,” Larsa tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “That’s not the issue. If that was the issue he wouldn’t be at my house every day. We wouldn’t be in the space where we’re in.”

The spotlight was shone on Scottie again recently during the airing of The Last Dance, ESPN’s docu-series about Michael Jordan and the golden era of the Chicago Bulls. Larsa married Scottie, now 54, in 1997. After four children and two decades together, she filed for divorce in 2018. Online trolls have speculated that infidelity led to their break-up and on May 16 Larsa clapped back at a fan who accused her of marrying the NBA legend for “money (superficial things) instead of love.” “Let me give u a quick lesson,” she tweeted. “Marriage is about love, respect, communication, and being able to rely on the person. U think I just woke up and said I’m out. Dude I went thru so much but my sanity and kids come first.”

Larsa expands on that in a heart-to-heart with HL. “I think people have an idea that I’m a certain way and I’m probably not like that,” she says. “I’m very much a lover. I take care of everyone. I take care of my family. I defend everyone. I’m very loyal and I feel like a lot of people want to believe, oh she’s this with Scottie. She’s that with Scottie. And none of it is true. We’re like best friends. We don’t fight about anything. Sometimes people grow apart. It’s not about X, Y and Z. It’s never about another person, if you’re logical. If you have any type of brain capacity you know that it’s not. People don’t just break up for one thing. It’s a number of things.”

Larsa and Scott Pippen with their four children – Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia. (Splash News)

In their case, Larsa says time and distance were factors in the breakdown of their marriage. “There was no negative ill will. We just weren’t together at that time,” she says. “We were living in two different states so we naturally grew apart. That happens.” Larsa says her husband was living in his home state of Arkansas at one point while she was in Miami, Florida. They tried more than once to reconcile but she says “the machine didn’t work the way it used to” anymore.

“I was with Scottie from when I was 21-years-old. The things I needed when I was 21-years-old, I don’t need. I need different things,” she says. “It’s like we’re both in two different places. It’s not a bad thing. We love each other. We had the best 20-year run ever. We have four great kids and we focus on our kids and we take it day by day. But it’s not what people think.”

Larsa – who is based in Los Angeles now – says that she and Scottie co-parent their four kids together (Scotty Jr., 19, Preston, 18, Justin, 13, and Sophia, 11), with ease. Even though they’re no longer a couple, she is one of his fiercest defenders. One of the focal points of The Last Dance was Scottie’s dissatisfaction with his Chicago Bulls contract. On April 19, Larsa tweeted a screengrab listing his career earnings as more than $109 million. “Thx for your concern,” she wrote. “Scottie did ok.”

Asked why she felt the need to publicly address that issue, she says, “I feel like it was a bad time at that moment… He was underappreciated for everything he did for the team and the sacrifices he made to be a part of that team and all the accolades the team had. But, he’s fine. He’s a winner. He’s always going to end up on top… I’m not going to have people [throw] a pity party for him.” Larsa says that she’s “always” going to have Scottie’s “back.” The reason is simple. “I love him,” she says, adding, “I don’t talk negative about anyone that I’ve spent time with. It’s just a bad reflection on who you are and I don’t believe in that.”

Michael Jordan was brought to tears while reflecting on the close relationship he shared with his father, the late James R. Jordan Sr. He addressed his father’s murder and the speculation that it wasn’t a random act of violence.

James R. Jordan Sr. was the focus of the episodes 7 and 8 of The Last Dance. Michael Jordan‘s father was murdered at the age of 56 on July 23, 1993. “When she got worried, we all got worried,” Michael said about his mother Deloris Jordan’s reaction when James went missing. “He was golfing,” she said.

James was driving from Wilmington to Charlotte in North Carolina, when he pulled over on the side of the highway to nap in his car. While he slept, James was shot in the chest and killed during a botched robbery, according to the Chicago Tribune. His body was dumped in a swamp in McColl, South Carolina. On August 13, 1993, his body was found in a creek between the border of North and South Carolina.

At the beginning of episode 7, Jordan became emotional during an interview with director Jason Hehir about the type of relationship he had with his father. “He’s a voice of reason that always drove and challenged me. That’s the type of father I had,” Michael said. “Like a friend?” Hehir asked. “Yeah, like a friend,” Michael assured as he fought back tears.

Michael and James were very close. He attended every Chicago Bulls game he could and was by Michael’s side when he won his first championship with the Bulls in 1991. Everyone from his friends, to his colleagues and loved ones could attest to the strong bond the duo had — especially when it came to the advice James would give to Michael, who took every word to heart.
“He was my rock. We were very close. He constantly gave me advice,” Michael said, recalling, “I remember in 9th grade, I was suspended three times in one year. He pulled me aside that summer and said, ‘You’re not headed in the right direction.’  — That’s all I needed to hear. It was like tunnel vision. I never got in trouble from that point on.”
Michael’s close friend, Ahmad Rashad added, “He had a very strong influence on Michael’s life. He was a wonderful, positive man.”
August 15, 1993: James’ funeral.
“I can remember flying into North Carolina,” Rashad recalled. “Michael couldn’t tie his tie and I had to tie the tie for him. That moment was so hard.”
“We were all together and it was devastating, but it was about support,” Michael said, recalling, “My mother was so strong and the first thing she said was, ‘You gotta be thankful,’ and I started to look at the positives,” he explained about how his mentality shifted after his father’s death. “If you have to take a negative, turn it into a positive. So I started to look to the other side of it, and that helped me get through it.”
At his father’s funeral, Michael spoke about the kind of father James was, and how he was also a friend, Deloris said, adding that Michael said he shared things with James that he wouldn’t with anyone else.
Not long after the senseless murder, speculation rose that James’ death was connected to Michael’s gambling, which led to other theories blaming Michael for his father’s death.
“It did hurt, but you had people throwing darts who wanted to hurt me anyway,” Michael said, explaining, “It wasn’t the people that loved me, it was the people who were tired of me being on top.”
August 21, 1993: MJ addresses his basketball future after his father’s death.
“I haven’t even thought about basketball… so right now everything is tentative from this point on,” he said. But, Michael was done.

“At that time we were coming off three championships. I fulfilled my responsibility to the city, the Bulls, my teammates,” he recalled. “I told [coach] Phil [Jackson], I said, ‘I’m done. I have no more challenges, no more motivation.’ I was just done.”
Ironically, news of his retirement broke on October 5, 1993, when he was at Game 1 of the American League Championship Series between the Blue Jays and White Sox. Michael threw the ceremonial first pitch before he retreated to the owner’s box.
The next day, Michael announced his (first) retirement from the NBA during a press conference — which a reporter said looked like “the last supper.” A smiling MJ sat at a table with NBA commissioner, David Stern, Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf, GM Jerry Krause, and coach Phil Jackson as they announced the news of his retirement. Michael said he was “at peace” with his decision to retire. “100 percent. I felt ready,” he admitted.
But, nobody could rationalize WHY he would walk away from the game. That’s when rumors started to emerge that MJ’s retirement was a secret 18-month suspension handed down by David Stern. — A myth that went on for years.

“The urban legend… it was ridiculous,” Stern said. “There was no basis and fact… it’s just not true. Never was and never will be no matter how many times people ask the question.”
Michael denied the rumor as well, and explained that he needed a break after his father’s murder. “That is not true. There’s no truth to that.. I needed a break, my father just passed and I’m retired,” he said.

Michael recalled his last conversation with his father. “We were debating about me playing baseball. He said, ‘Do it, do it,’ because that’s what he got me started on.”
February, 1994: The Chicago White Sox extend an invitation to Michael to join their major league camp in Sarasota.
After a mediocre career with the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate team of the White Sox, MJ returned to the NBA on March 18, 1995. He announced his return in a two-word press release: “I’m back.”
1996 NBA Finals: Bulls Vs. Seattle Supersonics:

“Mom I know he’s there. He watches, he sees,” Deloris recalled her son telling her about his late father during the grueling series.
Game 6, the Bulls win the series with a final score of 87-75. This marked Michael’s 4th championship and the 4th time he was named Finals MVP. It was June 16 — Father’s Day.

After celebrating with the Bulls, he went into the locker room and fell to the ground, face-down. The episode ended with him hysterically crying over the bittersweet win, dedicated to his father.

“Well, I can’t even put it in words. My father … I know he’s watching… This is for daddy,” MJ said in the post-game.

LeBron James took to Twitter to let fans know that he found reports about a potential NBA season cancelation ‘absolutely not true,’ after the 2019-2020 season was suspended on March 11 due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

King James is ready to get back to his court. LeBron James took to Twitter on April 30 with an earnest message to his fans, followers, and the National Basketball Association concerning the rest of the 2019-2020 season. “Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season??? That’s absolutely not true,” the LA Lakers player, 35, began his tweet. “Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything.”

The tweet comes amid reports published on April 30 that executives and agents are feeling pressure amid growing frustration to learn more details about how the rest of the season will play out. With information still being withheld, some executives are calling for the NBA to cancel the rest of the 2019-2020 season so that teams can prepare and focus on the 2020-2021 season next year. Furthermore, billions of dollars are at risk, considering that teams receive roughly $2 billion in TV earnings that the NBA receives from ESPN and Turner Sports, according to a report from CNBC

In the time following the season’s indefinite suspension on March 11, following the coronavirus positive diagnosis of Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, some players have been eagerly awaiting the green light to get back on the court. “LeBron at first didn’t want to play without fans, but that has 100% changed now that the virus is so much more than he originally thought. He wants to get back on the court,” a source shared EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife. Of course, the source noted that the LA Laker “wants it done right. It is a week by week monitoring situation, but he wants to finish this season and start next season on time.”

Saw some reports about execs and agents wanting to cancel season??? That’s absolutely not true. Nobody I know saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything. 👑

— LeBron James (@KingJames) April 30, 2020

Although the NBA living legend has been enjoying his time in quarantine with his family, bonding and making TikTok videos, “he really wants to get back on the court. He knows he has only a few more years in the NBA, so he wants to be there and win more championships. Basketball is his life, and being away from it all has really been getting to him. He can’t wait to be back.”

Dj Chose – I Thought Lyrics (feat. Inayah Lamis)

[Intro]
DJ Chose
Mhm, yeah yeah

[Bridge: DJ Chose]
Started out deep, don’t got the same homies
Niggas hood hoppes with slains on me
Bitches took my love, yeah shame on me
You wanna surprise me, don’t change on me

[Chorus: DJ Chose]
I thought you supposed to f**k with me, not f**k over me
I thought you supposed to ride with me, not run over me
One day you telling me it’s love, then you over me
Bitch, I swear you do me worse than these hoes do me
I thought you supposed to f**k with me, not f**k over me
I thought you supposed to ride with me, not run over me
I thought we supposed to be together, then you broke on me
How the f**k you do me worse when you close to me

[Verse 1: DJ Chose]
Think it’s a game, playing me like NBA
Told you don’t go, bitch you left me anyway
Threw out my heart, left it on that Inner State
Bitch you cold, bitch you good like Golden State
And tell them niggas, man they sideways
I could’ve played them niggas five way
I’mma keep it moving ‘cuz my time pays
Don’t make me go back to my slime days
Look bitch, I’m richer every friday
But I just pray to God to keep my vibe safe
How the f**k you switch up and go lame on me
When I was talking time, why you put the blame on me
Niggas said I did dirt, ain’t no stain on me

[Chorus: DJ Chose, DJ Chose & Inayah]
I thought you supposed to f**k with me, not f**k over me
I thought you supposed to ride with me, not run over me
One day you telling me it’s love, then you over me
Bitch, I swear you do me worse than these hoes do me
I thought you supposed to f**k with me, not f**k over me
I thought you supposed to ride with me, not run over me
I thought we supposed to be together, then you broke on me
How the f**k you do me worse when you close to me

[Verse 2: Inayah]
Inayah Lamis, nigga
My nigga, my nerve, yeah we go way back
They called my homie but now we ain’t that
I used to run get the ice, you get the cognac
You ever f**k over me, you gon’ regret that
And I hate to praise the fame ‘cuz it cost too much
And I don’t tell these bitches nothing ‘cuz they talk too much
Yeah, we chasing a dream but looking what it’s costing us
Lil’ nigga ready to win, I done lost enough
Now I’m living the high life
Sippin’ mai tais on a private flight
Sittin’ courtside with my cool guys, yeah
They really hate me, I can see it in their eyes
Used to love me but it died and it ain’t surprise

[Bridge: DJ Chose]
Started out deep, don’t got the same homies
Niggas hood hoppes with slains on me
Bitches took my love, yeah shame on me
You wanna surprise me, don’t change on me

$ilkmoney – Ben13x Lyrics

The chosen child came in this bitch like Colon Powell with a ?
We open now the dope is foul and leave a nigga breathing like he ran upon a mouse
It’s been gone a while came back now we own the aisle
Seent some niggas done stole our style
Open and shoulder hold it proud
The stick so big I gotta fold it to hold it down
Cold addicted to colder style
Nigga been ? with an emboldened prowess
Never have I ? or been opposed to challenge
Never have I ?
The stones resemble the crouton of salad
The chrome is soon gon’ leave your dome in past-tense
Give a nigga some keys like I replaced Khalid
And never even lost a pound like I’m DJ Khaled
So put a nigga on Fallon Show and tell about how I f**k hoes
Dump loads and punch niggas like launch codes
Sold Oz that cut throats and stunt growth
How I can’t have one and gotta f**k both
Tell the kids to f**k hope and pump dope
Then put the profits in Bitcoin and escrow
?
?

I got the Omnitrix I could switch to a different bitch with the hit of my wrist
Commit a homi’ quick cuz none of ya bitch niggas will get off of my dick
Ain’t got no time to sit I gotta get it like a lobbyist regardless of the consequence
Remain incognizant applying knowledge to my consciousness before they take away my oxygen

I got the Omnitrix I could switch to a different bitch with the hit of my wrist
Commit a homi’ quick ‘cuz none of ya bitch niggas will get off of my dick
Ain’t got no time to sit I gotta get it like a lobbyist regardless of the consequence
Remain incognizant applying knowledge to my consciousness before they take away my oxygen

I got a bottom bitch that keep a purse that’s bottomless
For when I gotta zip
I had to speak another consonance
And switch it to a different providence
Because they’re watching I’m confident
Give a bitch my condiment
Create a whole new populace then assert my dominance
All your fraudulence and your constant incompetence
Is only profiting my opulence
I had to take it way back to the days of M dub 2 with the MP5
Spent about 2 k and came back with some off-brand shit and called it NBA live
Turned TD Jakes
She hit her knees to pray
To my collection plate she paid tithes
Bury the cake underneath the safe and underneath the safe
Bury the cake ?
Tryna put a hundred thousand hundred thousands in the wall times 13 times
With another 100 thousand unaccounted in accounts that the feds can’t find
In abundance another hundred I keep hid in dungeons ‘neath the sea in the tides
With missiles and rolling thunder to protect the bitches that I keep inside

I got the Omnitrix I could switch to a different bitch with the hit of my wrist
Commit a homi’ quick ‘cuz none of ya bitch niggas will get off of my dick
Ain’t got no time to sit I gotta get it like a lobbyist regardless of the consequence
Remain incognizant applying knowledge to my consciousness – f**k it

2 Chainz – NCAA Lyrics

[Intro]
Honorable C.N.O.T.E

[Verse 1]
Who me?
I take this open beat (Yeah)
I smoke myself to sleep (Alright)
Got myself for free, yeah, ayy
Made a lift right off the street, yeah, yeah
This shit here gettin’ deep, yeah, yeah
I got the pool right by the beach, yeah, yeah
My nigga said, “Fool, that’s the ocean,” yeah
I use good pussy like it’s lotion, yeah, uh
I shoot a nigga for promotion, yeah
Drop my album off the court and make ’em post it, yeah, uh
I told you trappin’ is a sport
My old school is a Panamera Porsche, yeah
My last bitch got some head you can’t ignore
I told her I might take her head on tour, uh
I used to roll my weed in front the store
Then drive so fast, I disrespect your car
I told ’em that my drizzle caviar
I’m playin’ with the clit like a guitar
I’m playin’ with the clit like a guitar
I’m playin’ with the clit like a guitar

[Chorus]
NCAA, yeah, we the young and dangerous, yeah
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah
NCAA, yeah, we the young and dangerous, yeah
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah
NCAA, yeah, set the record straight (Set it)
Come on in (Come on in), come on in (Come on in)
NCAA, yeah, we the young and dangerous, yeah
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah

[Verse 2]
Let me get this straight, if I drop 40 today
You don’t care if I eat, you don’t care if I ate
They say, “You better have a good grade like a mixed baby hair”
They say, “We goin’ to the tournament, we gonna need you there”
I have more crab legs than Jameis
You fake like you got a girlfriend, Manti Te’o
Maurice Clarett with bangers
This could drive a college kid crazy
This that Barnum and Bailey, the greatest show on Earth
I can’t wait to go to the league so I can buy my mama what she want
This that mindset, that mentality
Made me a killer, fatality
From the public houses to a couple houses
To a couple cars, sippin’ a cup of tea
No teacup, this a bully (Bully)
I re’d up with a fully (Bah)
My mood change about money (Uh)
Might open up another company
Put that in an LLC (LC)
Like, “How you gonna try to sue me?” (Sue me?)
My jacket pants filled with two G’s (Two G’s)
My jacket pants filled with few G’s (Who we?)
I surround myself with a few G’s (Few G’s)
Wait a minute, let me follow this
You think because I got a scholarship
That I don’t need dollars just to parlay with? What? (What?)
Manziel had the highest sellin’ jersey
Bron moved back to Cleveland
Drake made a song ’bout him
Man, he ain’t even workin’

[Chorus]
NCAA (Damn), we the young and dangerous (Damn)
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah
NCAA, yeah, we the young and dangerous, yeah
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah
NCAA, yeah, set the record straight (Set it)
Come on in (Come on in), come on in (Come on in)
NCAA, yeah, we the young and dangerous, yeah
We be ballin’ hard, yeah, I just want some paper, yeah

[Outro]
I think that we have brainwashed our kids in the Black community
To think they can only be entertainers, uh, and jocks
I said, first of all, we can be doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, fire and policeman
And the truth of the matter is, you got a much better chance of bein’ one of those
Then you do bein’ in the NBA

NAV – Champion lyrics

(feat. Travis Scott)

[Intro: Travis Scott]
Ballin’ like I’m in the NBA
No, these racks cannot see TSA
They found me, now I have to relocate

[Chorus: Travis Scott & NAV]
Finna take off on spaceship (spaceship)
Dodgin’ these hoes like Matrix (Matrix)
Ain’t fuckin’ her unless she nameless
‘Cause the last two was too famous
We got that trophy like a champion
Fell asleep right on a jet, we gone
Big rings just like a champion
No TSA, hop on a jet, we gone

[Verse 1: Travis Scott]
Smash out
I call my ho and then I smash out
I brought my bros, let’s get this cash out
I in my mind drop the bag off (bag off)
I’m going top [?] ain’t no back off
Just bought a new crib of what was [?]
I drip my cup, I make it mad tall, mad tall
None of these hoes is basic, yeah
Grease stuck in my teeth like braces, yeah
VVSs, don’t need Lasik, yeah
Iced-out crosses, freezing Satan, yeah

[Chorus: Travis Scott & NAV]
Finna take off on spaceship (spaceship)
Dodgin’ these hoes like Matrix (Matrix)
Ain’t fuckin’ her unless she nameless
‘Cause the last two was too famous
We got that trophy like a champion
Fell asleep right on a jet, we gone
Big rings just like a champion
No TSA, hop on a jet, we gone

[Verse 2: NAV]
Fucked a famous girl to “Mask Off” (Molly, percocet)
Pop a bean an’ let the bags talk
Bought ten bottles on a last call (last call)
Flew a basic girl out from Alaska
Illegal alien inside my spaceship
Toosies on my shoosies, not no eight six
Get out my face, my pockets full of faces
Bust down gold AP, that’s not no stainless (yahh)
My Rollie told me what the day is
I like her ’cause she basic, she got braces
Her followers 100k, then she too famous
If she got a thousand, might make her my main bitch, yeah

[Chorus: Travis Scott & NAV]
Finna take off on spaceship (spaceship)
Dodgin’ these hoes like Matrix (Matrix)
Ain’t fuckin’ her unless she nameless
‘Cause the last two was too famous
We got that trophy like a champion
Fell asleep right on a jet, we gone
Big rings just like a champion
No TSA, hop on a jet, we gone
We got that trophy like a champion
Fell asleep right on a jet, we gone
Big rings just like a champion
No TSA, hop on a jet, we gone

[Outro: Travis Scott]
Ballin’ like I’m in the NBA
No, these rats cannot see TSA
They found me, now I have to relocate

Wale – All Star Break Up

[Verse 1]
If my pride was aside, I probably would text you first
But, If you could die from a broken heart you would drive a hearse
Cause, every guy that has ever found you attractive and acted on it
Back pedals much after, that’s when you’ve shown your worth
And I heard you love NBA niggas and
Now, you could track how much them niggas make and make rounds
At the All-Star break of day or so by valentine’s
So my advice if shorty doesn’t know the game she gaming y’all
And this valentine’s, dollar signs have you satisfied
The Gold’s Peak add a rollie and fashion nova ad
And that don’t mean to talk to you like a ho cause nah
We both do what we want but if I want you
I must want you bad, right

[Pre-Hook]
Just saying, right
Your friends all getting married but yeah right
It’s scary, right
That’s real life
You might just catch you a spirit, you praying right

[Hook]
I don’t believe in Valentine’s
I don’t believe in Valentine’s
I don’t believe in Valentine’s
I don’t believe in Valentine’s
I don’t believe in

[Verse 2]
Look
Pardon this pessimistic
Message I’m representing
Yes yes, i know this bitch
I mean woman, I was getting reckless
But hol up lemme get one second
I spent so much in Fendi
She know I’m cool with Robyn
She bother me for the Fenty yeah
I’m trying to block the part of my heart that thrives on your affection
You tried the love it’s not enough, it’s cars, it’s money, attention
But, I’m way too flawed to judge you
And I do my part to push you
Father and father from me from my broads and all my problems
She say look ‘le I’m sorry, my plane leaves in the morning
I’m trying to hit some parties, and Staples for the performances
Maybe I’ll see you Monday, thanks for this box of chocolates and
Roses you hold before me but court seats could get me 40
Thousand likes on my IG, someone I like just invited me
Plus I’m not even wifey, plus you 5’9 he’s a giant no
Baby mama, I might could just make a blog and get popular
Let’s hold a 40 before us but fame and fortune excites me
My valentine

[Outro]
I don’t believe in valentines
I don’t believe in valentines (I heard you love NBA niggas and now)
I don’t believe in valentines (I heard you love NBA niggas and now)
I don’t believe in valentines
You ever lost your main jawn to a point guard or a small forward
I don’t believe in
I find it funny Cupid’s busiest days, four days before the All-Star
It was fun while it lasted
I don’t believe in

I done grew up way too quick, too early
Thirty on me, Stephen Curry, use my jersey

NBA winning, balling like I’m Stephen Curry
Blue hundreds like a peacock, I got them birdies

Belly – Mumble Rap

Uh, fuckin’ hoes that ain’t worth a cent
In homes that ain’t worth the rent
Perfect sense, this is the circus that I had to circumvent
If you fly, I’m turbulance
Murder murder, screamin’ "Fuck 12!" with a perfect 10
In these streets runnin’ ’round robbin’ every fuckin’ body like a tournament
Once the time has turned
This is the only shit I learned
I put a bridge over my pool, that’s for all the ones that burned
I hope you pick up game, it’s a pick up game, winner’s ball
Hoes annoying just like the hiccups man, that’s Biggie Smalls
Dope dick give your bitch withdrawals
Why’d you even get your bitch involved?
I’m gone off the liquor, I’m sicker than Paul
And call it, just listen, I’m twisted and raw
Pictured it all
I had to sacrifice, I feel extra blessed tonight
Yeah they slept on me, I flexed on ’em, and manifest to life

I been ridin’ through the city on my own
Only time I see myself was in this chrome
Oh man, I been gettin’ in my zone
Hearin’ everybody soundin’ like some clones
[?]
Man I been- I been trappin’ on my own
[?]

Okay, I need to get in my hemisphere
You interfere, start to interfere
You Richard Gere with a pretty woman, I told her look ain’t no tricks in here
Like the drugs white and the liquor clear
Reflect back, tryna make it clear
Bad luck, 7 years, and I ain’t even break a mirror
20 years just to make it here
Don’t take it there, your circles is made of squares
You shoulda been made aware
Your bitch said my face is her favorite chair
Oh God, whole squad made millions
Whole time stay real
Wonder why I can’t chill
Couldn’t even pay bills
Now it’s LA hills
And I’m the king, Hank Hill
Can’t feel, can’t stand still
I blame all these damn pills
The best shit we can’t feel
I’m signin’ NDAs, these texts like NBA deals
But envy may kill, still don’t give a fuck how they feel

I been ridin’ through the city on my own
Only time I see myself was in this chrome
Oh man, I been gettin’ in my zone
Hearin’ everybody soundin’ like some clones
[?]
Man I been- I been trappin’ on my own
[?]

Chris Brown – Who You Came With Lyrics

[Pre-Chorus: Chris Brown]
I’m all out, finna ball out
Been on my shit when you call out
I been on bitches since the 8th grade
I got an actress and a Playmate
Do you wanna ride with me baby
In the 6 splashin’ up full of models
Catch your best friends, I’ma get
‘Cause they know I’ma lead and they’ll follow
Yeah, Might put some bands up
I’m the realist nigga, no actor
Hit it from the back, I’m a factor
Hey woah

[Chorus: Chris Brown]
Your partners, they warned me, they told me
Let’s take it slowly, start as your homie
Don’t care who you with
You gon’ end in my bed
So fuck who you came with
Fuck who you came with, oh

[Verse 1: Luvaboy TJ]
Better call out, we finna ball out
Woof, woof, I’ma bring all my dogs out

Fuck who you came with, you, I share my name with

Ball out on you, this is no NBA shit
Constipated face on these haters ’cause they ain’t shit
We lit by the way, don’t give a fuck what they say
OHB, came with the mob, we gon’ party ’til tomorrow
Girl, connected, got that Wi-Fi
Let me beat it, beat it, beat it like piñata, tap that
We celebratin’ with Dom Perignon
One conversation then we carry on
Private jets with no carry-ons
Pour up, roll up the Amazon

[Pre-Chorus: Chris Brown & Ray J]
I’m all out, finna ball out
Been on my shit when you call out (woah, yeah)
I been on bitches since the 8th grade
I got an actress and a Playmate
Do you wanna ride with me baby
In the 6 splashin’ up full of models (woah, yeah)
Catch your best friends, I’ma get
‘Cause they know I’ma lead and they’ll follow
Yeah, Might put some bands up (oh, yeah)
I’m the realist nigga, no actor
Hit it from the back, I’m a factor (I hit it from the back)
Hey woah

[Chorus: Chris Brown & Ray J]
Your partners, they warned me, they told me (warned me, told me)
Let’s take it slowly, start act up on me (slowly)
Don’t care who you with (oh yeah)
You gon’ end in my bed (I really don’t care)
So fuck who you came with
Fuck who you came with, oh

[Verse 2: Ray J]
I ball out, I call out
Fuckin’ bitches since the 8th grade
I pull up in that new gang
Bad bitches in the Mulsanne
I know you already been babe
Young niggas came, now who bang?
And I don’t give a fuck who came
Next throwin’ up the same gang
Oh, you know I fuck actresses and Playmates
Fuckin’ bad bitches on the 1st date
All the boss bitches that’s been paid
And all my pretty bitches with their rent laid
Yeah, I might throw some money up
I’m a realest nigga, no actor
And boss bitches know what we talkin’ ’bout
When a nigga’s worth it, come after

[Pre-Chorus Chris Brown]
I’m all out, finna ball out
Been on my shit when you call out
I been on bitches since the 8th grade
I got an actress and a Playmate
Do you wanna ride with me baby
In the 6 splashin’ up full of models
Catch your best friends, I’ma get
‘Cause they know I’ma lead and they’ll follow
Yeah, Might put some bands up
I’m the realist nigga, no actor
Hit it from the back, I’m a factor
Hey woah

[Chorus: Chris Brown]
Your partners, they warned me, they told me
Let’s take it slowly, start as your homie
Don’t care who you with
You gon’ end in my bed
So fuck who you came with
Fuck who you came with, oh

Dj Khaled – Billy Ocean Lyrics

DJ KHALED
Billy Ocean Lyrics

DJ Khaled!

[Fat Joe:]
From the mud to the marble floors, minks galore
Hustlin’ on the corners, now we own the stores
f**k a million dollars, boy, I need a billi’ for sure
Ch-ch-ch-cheer tuckin’ Billy Ocean, Billy Ocean
More Billy’s, more problems
We got too many ways to solve ’em
My life is like a movie that made the Oscars
Turn a key into a billion dollars (yeah, uh)
Billy Ocean, Billy Ocean

I got my car back, I’m John Wick
The sky blue tint come equipped with the convicts
The don’s slick
Some Billys we gon’ get
Broke a leg in my debut, no Bogut (crack get ’em, uh)
Talkin’ sports trades with bet guys
While sides cheat on their husbands
Those be the best vibes
Satin grain on the hood of the car
Switch lanes, yeah I used to flood the hood with them jars
You can get a taste for a flat out key
Cause now-a-days I’m Klay, see my spot up 3
Draped in Hermes scarves, crusing the Riviera
More solid than gold bars, the Billy era

From the mud to the marble floors, minks galore
Hustlin’ on the corners, now we own the stores
f**k a million dollars, boy, I need a billi’ for sure
Ch-ch-ch-cheer tuckin’ Billy Ocean, Billy Ocean
More Billy’s, more problems
We got too many ways to solve ’em
My life is like a movie that made the Oscars
Turn a key into a billion dollars (yeah, uh)
Billy Ocean, Billy Ocean

[Raekwon:]
Hermes sweatsuits and S-Coupes
Fly around, NBA money, in jets too
Back of the bag’s all crunched out, we vexed too
Shoulda been Billys in ’92, line who?
The shine’s new
Yeah it’s sorta like a mafia movie
Sit back Rocky ‘n’ groovie in the ’92
Silk pieces in Velez’s sneakers
A duffle bag with handcuffs on it, we creatures
Ayo, runnin’ every strip club, lit love
Yeah we sit around and just drip bub’
The homies get piff love, to all the realest ones and rich thugs
One, my hundred niggas
Billy with gun on niggas

[Fat Joe:]
From the mud to the marble floors, minks galore

Futuristic – Epiphany Lyrics

[Intro: Futuristic]
I had an epiphany
I was repeating history
I was doing everything I hated
The weight on my shoulders
I let it all get to me (I let it all get to me)
I had an epiphany
I just smiled at my enemies
I was listening to everybody who was talking
But never did shit for me, yeah
I had an epiphany
I was looking at everybody else that’s up in the industry
They ain’t as sick as me (they ain’t as sick as me)
I had an epiphany
I was seeing somebody that never had no good intentions for me
Now she missing me, yuh (now she missing me)

[Verse 1: Futuristic]
Moral of the story is that nobody did it for me
Had to make a change (nah)
I was living in the city with no scene
I had a dream I had to make a lane (yup, yup)
Always knew that I couldn’t live off of minimum wage
Ripping the pay stub
I had a minimal taste for all the fame stuff
But I got into the game without a cent to my name
And now I’m ballin’ like I’m in the NBA, bruh
And I know I got a lot but I’m not content
If they ask me to stop, I will not consent
Never gonna let nobody block cause my shot to miss
You can meet me at the top if you hop the fence
And you climb the stairs
And you fight the beast
And you lose your way
Then you find your peace
And you do it sober
Then you find a drink
Then you spiral down
And it all repeats
And I always had a vision I could get it
So I did it by my lonely
I don’t owe nobody nothing, never let nobody own me
Got some money from the music, and I spend it on the homies
But don’t put nothin’ before me, gave a whip to little Brody
And I’m only getting started
And I’m eating with the people that I starve with
And my batteries, I had to recharge ’em
I made an album but that shit was garbage
Yo, I was trapped in a gimmick
I finally get it
I’m here to make music that matters
If I die, it’ll all be alright
‘Cause the message I gave you will live for me after
And my chapter will highlight a lifetime
Of energy gave through a bright mind
How you never had to stand on the sideline
How you the guide to your own guidelines

[Bridge: Futurisitic]
That’s an epiphany
I had an epiphany, yeah
That’s an epiphany
I had an epiphany, yeah

[Verse 2: NF]
I had an epiphany
That I could make history
That I could prove everyone wrong
That told me I wasn’t cut out for this music thing, yeah
I had an epiphany
What if I took my energy
And used it on positive things in my life
Instead of the people that lie to me, huh?
Yeah, I had an epiphany
That I could put all of my hurt into music
And use it for people that might feel the same as me
Yeah, I had an epiphany
What if everyone knew my depression was worse than they thought?
They probably gonna look at me differently
Yo, this song got me going back, when I was a stupid kid
Thinking maybe I could make it in the music biz
And then I figured out the politics
And realized that half of y’all don’t even know what music is
And going nowhere, I told ’em to get used to me
Feels like I’m living in a movie scene
A bunch of people trying to tell me how to act and breathe
One thing I never let nobody ever do was tell me who to be
I never got into the party scene
Maybe I was just scared to drink
‘Cause addiction it runs in my family
That’s someone I was scared to be
You’re looking pitiful compared to me
Since I can barely read
All I wanted was somebody I could trust
That I knew would keep it real with me
Rap’s always been a mirror for me
That’s when I figured out that maybe I’m the one that’s gotta make it on my own, yeah, it’s clear to see
A lot of people think that what I’m doing is a gimmick
Everything you hear me writing I’ve been living
I ain’t quitting, send the money to my family
Try to show them that I miss them
And I cherish every moment when I’m home and when I’m with them
And this is the way that I feel
In the industry of fakes trying to stay real
In the industry of lames trying to get deals
Lord knows imma get it, that’s Meek Mill
Yeah, I lay in my bed at night thinking
“There’s got to be more to me”
I’m trying to pay off the mortgaging
But the life of the people I love in the midst of it
I’ve always thought that if
I learn from mistakes that I’d make
Even the losses are victories
That’s when it starts hitting me
If you set your mind to it you can do anything

[Outro: NF]
That’s an epiphany
That’s an epiphany, yeah
I had an epiphany
I had an epiphany, yeah

Wyclef Jean – Hendrix (J’ouvert Deluxe Edition Album)

[Pre-Hook]
I’ma do this one for my homies gone
The judge hit the hammer they ain’t coming home
We all are from the danger zone
The devil pulled the card and he said choose one
I chose music, my homies chose yay
Some of my ballers chose the NBA
Cuzzo’s on the block, man they gang bang
Funeral parlors makin’ all the change

[Hook]
Yeah when my cousin got his first tec
I was playing Jimi Hendrix in the basement
All I wanted to be was a rock star
And all he wanted to be was an Escobar
El Chapo, Si
El Chapo, Si
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si
El Chapo
El Chapo, Si
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si

[Verse]
Gone ’til November, he ain’t comin’ back
I was talking bout my homies man that sold crack
Caught in the trap, hit from the back
They hid the steel
Like the owl boy that’s hidden on the dollar bill
Welcome to the rotten apple
The city of lights
No matter how days shine
They can’t steal the nights
Cause when the ghost knock knock
Just before you guess, red dot at your chest
The Eagles raid the cuckoos nest
Better be with them artillery packs
They be jumping like Jack when they jump out the box
Ratatatata that’s the sound of the gat
They be flying through the air like vampire bat
Straight from the back when they attack
In the middle o’ night when you up in the trap
You keep on bucking, they bucking you back
In the middle of bucking somebody get flat

[Pre-Hook]
I’ma do this one for my homies gone
The judge hit the hammer they ain’t coming home
We all are from the danger zone
The devil pulled the card and he said choose one
I chose music, my homies chose yay
Some of my ballers chose the NBA

El Chapo, Si
El Chapo
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si
El Chapo
El Chapo, Si
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si

[Outro]
When he bought me that guitar I felt like Prince the artist
Turn up my guitar
When my cousin got his first tat
Acoustic trappin’ in the basement
All I wanted was to be a rock star

Curren$y – Another Story To Tell Lyrics

Oooh
Who ya’ll talking to
Yeah
Spitta
Yeah
Where haven’t we been yet
FS Jets where haven’t we been yet
Uh
Welcome To The Winner’s Circle nigga
Month after month after month nigga

A nigga never been as fresh as me
I’m fucking with you
But the bad bitches give me my props
Like the newest one that I got
Met her at my Wednesday night spot
Valet park the whip at Harris Casino
Hit the driver with a customary C note
Assembled the crew, blew a half an ounce
Popped a bottle or two
When some NBA niggas in suits came through
One of them played for the Hornets
He had his bitch with him too
I could tell she was on me
Shorty couldn’t keep her eyes off me
To save her life
No ring on her finger so that wasn’t his wife
Not for me to pursue
The bitch would not be right
Left the ball in her court
And she played it smart
Made her way to the bathroom
Slid a piece of paper on my VIP table
In a way so casual
Seven digits written in pink ink
She didn’t leave an area code
I knew she was a local ho
Eye fucking for the rest of the night on the low
Having mind sex right underneath her man’s nose
Hit the bitch with a text
But she couldn’t check her phone in front of man
She waited ’til she made it home
I’m in the room all alone
I heard a text message alert ring tone
Flipped open the celly
The context of the message was the address to her telly
Thought the situation was fishy
But I ignored what I was smelling
But don’t get it twisted
I didn’t head out on a mission
Without calling a bitch
To make sure I had the right idea ’bout this
Cause the last thing I need is a rape charge
From one of these fake broads
Who try to gain access to wreck a niggas bank cards
But fuck all that
Back to the hooper’s ho
In the Chenile sundress on the hotel room floor
Told me that she just want to fuck and smoke with a real nigga
And she only with the other nigga for the dough
I said mama tell me something that I don’t know
We got bent and I broke her back
On and off for a couple of months we did that
The bitch got lost in the swag
Ride me around the city smoking in the man’s whip
Bring the car back smelling like purple grass
I’m surprised he ain’t beat her ass
I know you wanna know how I’m gonna end the story
But I can’t end the story
Cause the story still going
Dude still hooping and his hoes still hoin’
And his ho’s with the planes
And the boy don’t know it
Yeah
Go Hornets
Yeah
FS Jets where haven’t we been yet
Its just rap music man
Welcome to the Winner’s Circle
Its just entertainment
Or is it?
Yeah
For real man

Travi$ Scott – Through The Late Night (feat. Kid Cudi) (Birds In The Trap Sing Mcknight Album)

Hmm, hmm, nah, nah
Mmm, nah, nah, nah, nah
Hmm, hmm, nah, nah
Mmm, nah, nah, nah, nah
Hmm, hmm, nah, nah
Mmm, nah, nah, nah, nah
Hmm, hmm, nah, nah
Mmm, nah, nah, nah, nah

Then we sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, all through the late night
S’il vous plaît, don’t you wait, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night

Blimp’s soarin’, how the hell did I get in this space?
Four in the mornin’, how did I get in this place?
Oh it don’t matter, got smoke, drink, and I’m runnin’ this space
Done contemplatin’, I’mma take it in and groove in this case
And then dimethyltryptamine and lysergic acid diethylamide
The vibes are effervescent, delicious, just how they should be
And then dimethyltryptamine and lysergic acid diethylamide
The vibes are effervescent, delicious, just how they should be
No sleep in my bed, no sleepin’ in my bed
When we gon’ play, gon’ play, gon’ play until the day
I said no sleep in my bed, no sleepin’ in my bed
Yeah, we gon’ play, gon’ play, then we’ll sleep all through the day
And do it again

Sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, all through the late night
S’il vous plaît, don’t you wait, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night

Day and night, I toss and turn
I keep stressin’ my mind, mind
I seek the peace, sometimes I can’t restrain
To join a rage at night, come out and play, play
Balance, find your balance
God said it’s my talent
Sprinkle a little season on the salad
Relieve my heart of malice, hit my palace
Stroke my cactus, ohh, don’t wait
Don’t play (Yea, yea)
Play no games like the NBA
Throwin’ checks like the NBA
You a ring, you a ring
We shootin’ shots like the NRA
Ahh, she jammin’ Travis and Kid Cudi
The new Krayzie Bone and Slim Bun B
Ah, shawty, on the scene, pull up on the scene
Sip my tea, he don’t Hennessy
Aw save all, take it right
Aw take it all, never light
Aw, had a ball, had a night
Aw, after all, sleep good

Sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Sleep through day then we play all through the late night
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, all through the late night
S’il vous plaît , don’t you wait, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night
All through the late night, all through the late night

J Cole – Immortal lyrics

[Intro]
Awwwww…haha

[Verse 1]
Now I was barely seventeen with a pocket full of hope
Screamin’, dollar and a dream with my closet lookin’ broke
And my nigga’s lookin’ clean, gettin’ caught up with that dope
Have you ever served a fiend with a pocket full of soap?
Nigga I can tell you things that you probably shouldn’t know
Have you ever heard the screams when the body hit the floor?
Flashbacks to the pain, wakin’ up, cold sweats
Six o’clock in the mornin’, gotta hit the BowFlex
Get my weight up on the block, keep watch for the cops
God they love to serve a nigga three hots and a cot
Nowadays crime pays like a part time job
And the drought got me prayin’ for a Carl Thom vibe
Summer Rain come again
Numb the pain ’cause it’s hard for a felon
In my mind I been cryin’, know it’s wrong but I’m sellin’
Eyes wellin’ up with tears
Thinkin’ ’bout my niggas dead in the dirt
Immortalized on this shirt

[Hook]
Real niggas don’t die
Forward with the plot
One-Seven-Forty-Five
Form at the plot
Real niggas don’t die
Form on the block
Real niggas don’t lie
Form in the plot
My niggas don’t die
Form on the block
Real niggas don’t die
Form on the block
Real niggas don’t die
Real niggas don’t die

[Verse 2]
Have you ever seen a fiend cook crack on the spoon?
Have you ever seen a nigga that was black on the moon?
Have you ever seen your brother go to prison as you cry?
Have you ever seen a motherfuckin’ ribbon in the sky?
Nope, all I see is that C.R.E.A.M nigga, that green
I’m a black king, black jeans on my black queen
And her ass fat, too fat for a flat screen
I’m the type of nigga make the whole fuckin’ trap lean
Kingpin nigga, put wings on a crack fiend
If they want a nigga, they gon’ have to send a SWAT team
And I’m goin’ out like Scarface in his last scene
A legend, what that mean—?

[Hook]
Real niggas don’t die
Forward with the plot
One-Seven-Forty-Five
Form at the plot
Real niggas don’t die
Form on the block
Hood niggas don’t lie
Form on the plot
My niggas don’t die
Form the block
Real niggas don’t die
Form the block
Real niggas don’t die
Real niggas don’t die

[Outro]
To die a young legend or live a long life unfulfilled
Cause you wanna change the world
But while alive you never will
Cause they only feel you after you gone, or I’ve been told
And now I’m caught between bein’ heard and gettin’ old
Damn, death creepin’ in my thoughts lately
My one wish in this bitch make it quick if the Lord take me
I know nobody meant to live forever anyway
And so I hustle like my niggas in Virgini-A
They tellin’ niggas sell dope, rap or go to NBA, in that order
It’s that sort of thinkin’ that been keepin’ niggas chained
At the bottom and hanged
The strangest fruit that you ever seen
Ripe with pain, listen…

Flatbush Zombies – Aries (feat. Deadcuts)

[Hook]
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains with ease
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains they weave

[Verse 1: Zombie Juice]
It’s like we stuck in a prison
Suffering from lack of wisdom
Suffering from lack of substance
The systems lacking some ism
Since it’s killing the misery
Hope my children remember me
Since I sing songs of symphony
Somethings just gotten into me
Message don’t kill the messenger
Message travel through seven seas
Ghetto passion is classic, been getting lashes for centuries
Aided by mostly separated by color deficiency
Free to you free the shackles my mental strain from my ancestry

[Hook]
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains with ease
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains they weave

[Verse 2: Meechy Darko]
Emancipation, castration, mass-hating, white washing
Black shaving patience, that I’m demonstrating, ugh
Segregation, separation, take my people, chain my people, ship them out, build a nation, picket lines, demonstration
Kill switch, detonation, this takes dedication
Guess that NBA our reparation governmental medication
The reverse of levitation, they put fluoride in our water
Guess they trying to kill our babies
Hearts racing, cops and robbers car chasing

[Hook]
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains with ease
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains they weave

[Verse 3: Erick Arc Elliot]
Whatever your purpose is
Hone in and hold your kids
All of this is distractions and nobody notice it
Feeble for knowledge we still in chains
Power tripping for digits we growing it every day
Fighting for freakom ? service with student aid
Can’t afford to be sitting order pills to get paid
Taught to follow the system that institution be prison
These coppers turn me to zombie
I’m walking dead while I’m living

[Hook]
I feel so tired of the lights
Fill the tank with gasoline
One match to burn these chains with ease

[Outro: Erick Arc Elliot]
Break the chain, break the chain
Why the violence is killing our kids and our brother man
Break the chain, break the chain
How police war with no recourse and you on your way
Break the chain, break the chain
Still identify with those who’s have nothing still live in fear
Break the chain, break the chain
Been distracted by the glamor but don’t question why we even here
Break the chain, break the chain
Why the violence is killing our kids and our brother man
Break the chain, break the chain
How police war with no recourse and you on your way
Break the chain, break the chain
Still identify with those who’s have nothing still live in fear
Break the chain, break the chain
Been distracted by the glamor but don’t question why we even here

Wyclef Jean – Hendrix letras

[Pre-Hook]
I’ma do this one for my homies gone
The judge hit the hammer they ain’t coming home
We all are from the danger zone
The devil pulled the card and he said choose one
I chose music, my homies chose yay
Some of my ballers chose the NBA
Cuzzo’s on the block, man they gang bang
Funeral parlors makin’ all the change

[Hook]
Yeah when my cousin got his first tec
I was playing Jimi Hendrix in the basement
All I wanted to be was a rock star
And all he wanted to be was an Escobar
El Chapo, Si
El Chapo, Si
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si
El Chapo
El Chapo, Si
All he wanted to do was be El Chapo, Si

[Verse]
Gone ’til November, he ain’t comin’ back
I was talking bout my homies man that sold crack
Caught in the trap, hit from the back
They hid the steel
Like the owl boy that’s hidden on the dollar bill
Welcome to the rotten apple
The city of lights
No matter how days shine
They can’t steal the nights
Cause when the ghost knock knock
Just before you guess, red dot at your chest
The Eagles raid the cuckoos nest
Better be with them artillery packs
They be jumping like Jack when they jump out the box
Ratatatata that’s the sound of the gat
They be flying through the air like vampire bat
Straight from the back when they attack
In the middle o’ night when you up in the trap
You keep on bucking, they bucking you back
In the middle of bucking somebody get flat

[Pre-Hook]

[Outro]
When he bought me that guitar I felt like Prince the artist
Turn up my guitar
When my cousin got his first tat
Acoustic trappin’ in the basement
All I wanted was to be a rock star
