Vanessa Bryant shared an inspirational message about grief and strength in times of hardship, just days before the first anniversary of Kobe and Gianna’s tragic deaths.

It’s been nearly a year since Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were killed in a tragic helicopter crash, and Vanessa Bryant is still feeling the sting of that immeasurable loss every day. Vanessa, 38, opened up about her grief on her Instagram Story, sharing an inspirational message that could help anyone going through that same horrific experience. Vanessa’s advice? “Find your reason to live.”

“Let me be real — grief is a messed up cluster of emotions,” Vanessa posted on January 15. “One day, you’re in the moment laughing and the next day you don’t feel like being alive. I want to say this for people struggling with grief and heartbreaking loss. Find your reason to live. I know it’s hard. I look at my daughters and I try to push through that feeling for them. Death is guaranteed but living the rest of the day isn’t. Find your reason.”

Along with Gianna, Vanessa is the mother of three beautiful daughters: Natalia, 17, Bianka, 4, and Capri, 1. Her life is devoted to making sure her girls are happy and thriving! Recently, Vanessa shared that Natalia is busy deciding which college she’s going to attend in the fall. Natalia’s top choice right now? New York University! Natalia posed in an adorable NYU shirt on her mom’s Instagram with her backpack and binder.

While she’d obviously be proud if her daughter attended the prestigious university, Vanessa’s hoping she sets her sights on a school that’s a little closer to home. “I will do my best to keep her in Cali just like I kept her daddy here,” Vanessa captioned the photo, referencing her late husband’s time on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 41-year-old actress was seen packing on the PDA with restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr., 33, on a date in NYC over Labor Day weekend. Prior to their photos making out, Katie and Emilio were also seen enjoying a date at NYC’s Antique Garage on Sept. 4. Learn more about Rachel, who was engaged to Emilio.

2. She was engaged to Emilio Vitolo. Rachel celebrated her engagement to Emilio, who owns NYC hotpot Ballato’s in trendy Soho, via Instagram in Feb. 2019. I couldn’t feel more lucky to spend the rest of my life with you,” Rachel wrote at the time in her caption.

Emilio allegedly broke off the engagement “abruptly” after photos of he and Katie surfaced. “In mid-August, Emilio and Rachel were still engaged and living together…He broke off the engagement abruptly the second Katie showed some interested. Rachel is shocked. They were planning a wedding and their future together. It’s like she never knew Emilio. They haven’t had any contact since he broke up with her,” a source also told People. Kelly Ripa has taken working remotely to a whole new level! She’s been with her family in the Caribbean while filming her morning show ever since the coronavirus quarantine began.

Kelly Ripa has managed to log Caribbean vacation time while still hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan each morning during quarantine. It turns out that she hasn’t been at home in New York when she appears remotely on TV every day. Instead, Kelly, 49, her husband Mark Consuelos, also 49, and their three kids are staying at an “island hideaway” as first reported by Page Six on May 21. The site says that the family was already there when New York’s shelter in place order began in March and decided to stay put in paradise. A source familiar with the show has confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that Page Sixs report “is accurate.”

While it might sound glamorous to literally be trapped on an idyllic Caribbean island, quarantine hasn’t been easy for Kelly. She’s discussed on Live how much she misses being able to hug her parents Joe and Esther Ripa, and that her two of her three kids with Mark, daughter Lola, 18, and sons Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 17, won’t hug their mom even though they’re all in lockdown together. On Apr. 9 she told co-host Ryan Seacrest — who is filming remotely from his L.A. home– that, “I’m not going to lie, okay? I’m going to let you in on a little secret: I’m currently not speaking to two of my three kids. I’m not talking to two of them. Just because, we’re all in the same boat together, right?”

“I haven’t gotten to hug my parents. I want to hug my parents. I miss hugging my parents,” Kelly confessed while welling up with tears. “And my kids, like, won’t hug me. And I’m like, ‘Guys, we’ve all been in lockdown together. We’re fine. You can give me a hug. It’s fine.’” She continued, “Anyway, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I’m crying. Maybe I’m just going to get my period, who knows. Sorry, sorry. Sometimes we forget that we’re on. Did I shout that, or did my inner monologue come out? Sorry, didn’t mean to do that.”

Here’s Kelly today, May 21, on Live with the now familiar generic white curtains and chair from her Caribbean hideaway behind her:

While here is Kelly and Mark co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan together on Apr. 20 from their island getaway retreat:

Kelly and Mark helped Michael celebrate a major milestone on May 21 while still in the Caribbean…and she got a much needed hug from her son out of it! Their eldest child became a college grad! Since NYU like all other universities is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and no formal ceremony was held, the couple brought the celebration to the tropics. Kelly shared a photo to her Instagram showing Michael wearing a NYU t-shirt with a mortar board cap and tassel, while standing between his folks with his arms around them.

Behind them was the mirror surrounded by colorful pink, yellow and orange flowers that is partially seen in Kelly’s daily appearances on Live. She beamed in a blue and white tropical shirt with her hair pulled back and captioned the pic, “And just like that you graduated college. MJC, the joy and pride you have brought our family is indescribable. I love you with all my heart #NYU #2020.” Hopefully the family was able to celebrate by beach afterwards at their island getaway!

Papoose Confirms Remy Ma Is Pregnant With Couple’s First Child

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 30: (L-R) Remy Ma and Papoose attend Breaking Boundaries presented by Women On The Move And HerSource With NYU & OBE at NYU on March 30, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

Papoose confirmed on Twitter that Remy Ma is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

The Love and Hip Hop New York couple has some good news to share with their fans for the holiday. Papoose shared a photo from an ultrasound room and also a few pics of the two doing some pottery artwork. “Hand made these bowls, for our unborn child. #pottery #blacklove,” he wrote on IG. The caption maybe a bit cryptic but he did say clearly “unborn child.”

The caption could mean anything but certainly baby making is among the many meanings. It could also mean that they are just getting check up to make sure that they are healthy to make a baby or simply just trolling us. If the couple are indeed expecting, then Pap is in for an adventurous 2018.

Earlier this year, Papoose and Remy Ma opened up about her painful miscarriage. “This was a hard time for me & my husband & we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all,” she wrote in the caption. “I was totally against it but in a fit of crying @papoosepapoose said ” you are not the only one going thru this , we will get thru it” …made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don’t have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright.”

After trying to have a child for a while their dreams may have finally be coming through. Remy Ma has a son name Jayson from a previous relationship.

A Tribe Called Quest – Ego (We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service Album)

[Chorus: Q-Tip]
Ego, ego skippin’, trippin’ in my mind
Ego, ego skippin’, trippin’ in my mind
Ego, ego trippin’, trippin’, trippin’, trippin’, trippin’
Ego, ego
I got one, you got one, and now we equal
Sometimes it makes you trip out on your people
Sometimes it has connotations of evil
Sometimes niggas call on it when they need to
It’s called the ego

[Verse 1: Q-Tip]
Ay, it’s hard to really make the subject positively stated
Some may hate it and some may overrate it
It’s a top story and you rarely see a trend
So all you psychoanalysts, pull out your pad and pen
It’s called the ego
Come up with an idea, and no one seems to get it
Then every time you mention it
They stare like you’re two-headed
But one day, in your cubicle, your idea really comes to view
Your boss is walking by, he sees it too and he takes it from you
She put you on the aces of all the stripper places
And has the kinda clientele where niggas trick off very well
You beg her and you plead her and you tuck away your ego
She knows you need the chicken
And you know that she’s your people
They call you fat and lazy, your commentary crazy
They photoshop your face on a box of McCormick gravy
And now that inner voice, that ego, making you get wavy
Change your diet, hit the gym
And say, "What were you saying to me?"
The ego makes you do it, it makes you face the music
Or run away from life so fast that you’ll outsprint Carl Lewis
It has you think your deceptive ways of being are the truest
Had the prettiest brown eyes but you change them shits to the bluest
It’s the ego

[Bridge: Q-Tip]
Ooo, Jack White
Ooo, Jack White

[Verse 2: Q-Tip]
A celebrated genius, my dick game is the meanest
I’ll take the girl that’s augmented, new me is invented
I’ll take the biggest house in Calabassas
Anyone for Michael Phelps swimming classes?
You need it when you’re balling, equally when you’re falling
Or when those kids in school on your locker
They get to scrawling
Epithets that’s racist is stupid and mean in nature
Something that can make you feel stronger when people hate ya
Ego make you violent or govern like a tyrant
Or switch a dictionary’s word from vibrant to vivrant
Fool the thirsty people, selling tap water in bottles
Fooled a girl with NYU scholarship and now she models
Ego has no ending, has people pretending
Religious zealots get jealous ’cause guys want their defending
This is the last Tribe and our ego hopes that you felt us
And closing for our ego, we know only God can help us

Kings Of Leon – Over

[Verse 1]
I see the grass beneath me
I smell the wind and sky
And think to myself
“Don’t pass me by”
You dance in strange conditions with strangers of the night
I see you’re crazy and so am I
You bled out red and blue
The boys of NYU, they saw you coming from miles away
Nothing is quite as homey
We dive each sunny day
I see you Kenny, you castaway

[Chorus]
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore
[Verse 2]
Bright lights, that make the city
Quaaludes on Christmas Eve
And all the good times, we’ve ever seen
The roles we play together
The slaps across my face
I face the music
You write the scene

[Chorus]
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore

[Bridge]
My angel hovers over
The light comes crashing in
I know it’s how this here story ends
I’ll hang around forever
Until you cut me down
All pressed and ready to face the crowd

[Chorus]
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore
Oh, don’t say it’s over
Don’t say it’s over anymore

My face brings new reason you write the scene

Don’t say it’s over anymore

Emily Kinney – Molly lyrics

[Verse 1]
Oh, oh, I know about Molly ’cause she told my friend
That she was hooking up with you on the weekend
Guess those stories that you told me turned out not to be true
You say you’re done with Molly, well, I’m done with you

[Chorus]
Oh, I know about Molly
She likes to sing and get high
She likes to kiss my boyfriend
When he comes walking by
Woah-oh, I know about Molly
So just confess it out loud
You’re so guilt-stricken, crying one the corner
Do you feel better now?

[Verse 2]
Oh, you were working with Molly when you said she’s just a buddy
Never thought you were the type to fuck an understudy
Molly’s so naive, she don’t know wrong from right
And when your girlfriend’s out of town she’s at your place all night
Oh, oh, oh, NYU, LaGuardia, to some Broadway bound
But she keeps taking shitty gigs that I turned down
I hope you love her face, I hope you dig her voice
You say you’re done with Molly, well, I’ve made another choice

[Chorus]
Oh, I know about Molly
She likes to sing and get high
She likes to kiss my boyfriend
When he comes walking by
Woah-oh, I know about Molly
So just confess it out loud
You’re so guilt-stricken, crying on the corner
Do you feel better now?

[Verse 3]
Oh, Molly, you can have him, you’re much cooler than me
I never liked staying out, smoking weed ’til three
So take my boots in his closet like you took my man
It’s clear you don’t mind wearing things second hand
And I’m not looking for a winner, or a loser, or a forfeit
But my heart’s in little pieces so I hope that it was worth it
Hope you’re happy together ’cause I’m doing alright
But you both should stay away from the Lower East Side

[Chorus]
‘Cause I know about Molly
She likes to sing and get high
She like to kiss my boyfriend
When he comes walking by
Woah-oh, I know about Molly
So just confess it out loud
You’re so guilt-stricken, crying on the corner
Do you feel better now?

Do you feel better now?
I hope you feel better now
