New mom Katy Perry has bigger worries than if she missed a spot while shaving her legs. After Luke Bryan teased her about leg hair on ‘American Idol,’ she said she’d rather cuddle her daughter.

Leg hair, don’t care! Katy Perry would much rather spend what time she has in her busy life with her eight-month-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom than making sure her legs are silky smooth. The 36-year-old shared a fun off-camera American Idol moment to her Instagram stories on May 9, when her fellow judge Luke Bryan, 44, pointed out a line of dark stubble along her right calf. The “Roar” singer had her leg propped up on her table, and the slit in her white pant leg exposed her skin.

“I know you’re a mom and everything, but we’ve got to do something about this leg here,” Luke told Katy, as she panned away from him to look down at her leg and show where she’d missed a patch of hair while shaving. “No! I don’t got time! I’d rather cuddle with my daughter,” Katy yelled back in a high pitched voice. She also wrote, “#MOMSKNOW” across her IG story video.

Fans wouldn’t have noticed Katy’s legs, as she wore a gorgeous black and white pantsuit on the Mother’s Day evening telecast. It consisted of a long white blazer and pants, which had small slits coming up to mid-shin that helped show off her open-toe strappy black heels. Her ensemble featured a wide black corset across her mid-section over the blazer, with strips of boning going past the top and bottom of the garment.

The “Dark Horse” singer had previously revealed on Idol that she was no longer terribly concerned about her leg hair care routine ever since she gave birth Daisy in Aug. 2020. On the show’s Apr. 4 episode, she gushed to contestant Cassandra Coleman, “Your voice is a spiritual experience, It is otherworldly, angelic. As a new mother, I don’t have very much time, so I quit shaving, but when you sang, the hair on my legs grew an inch and a half. Full body chills! It was amazing.”

Afterward, host Ryan Seacrest jumped in to add, “I tell you, Luke was checking to make sure you were telling the truth while talking.” Katy then lifted her right leg up onto the table to give her fellow judge a closer look.  “She literally has leg hair!” Luke exclaimed, to which Ryan snarked back, “Thank you for the forensic report.”

Katy has proven that she’s kept up her leg shaving routines here and there. When the family went on a Hawaiian vacation in Feb. 2021, the singer rocked a purple one piece strapless swimsuit while hitting a private beach with her fiance Orlando Bloom, 44. The fair-skin on her legs appeared to be free of any hair or stubble. But since she was having a romantic moment alone with her guy while Daisy was being looked after back at their bungalow, the “Firework” singer might have stepped up her shaving or waxing routine.

The top 10 performed Disney classics on ‘American Idol’s Disney Night on May 2. When the top 7 were announced, that meant 3 contestants were sent home in heartbreaking eliminations.

It’s the most magical night of American Idol! It’s Disney Night! Right off the bat, Ryan Seacrest reveals the Comeback winner. Season 18 runner-up Arthur Gunn is now a part of the season 19 top 10 after a nationwide vote. Arthur says it “feels marvelous” to be back.

The top 9 took a trip to Disney World in Florida where they collaborated with celebrity mentor John Stamos. Caleb Kennedy is the first contestant to perform. He rocked out to “Real Gone” from Cars. Katy Perry raves that his “energy is infectious” and had the perfect song choice. Lionel Richie adds that it was a “radiating performance” for the 16-year-old.

Willie Spence on ‘American Idol.’ (ABC)

Willie Spence sings a powerful rendition of “Circle of Life” from The Lion King. The end of his performance is stunning. Luke tells Willie that he has the “magic” in him, and Lionel Richie says Willie is a “true stylist as an artist.” He also notes that Willie’s “delivery is just so incredible.” Katy calls him a “bonafide idol.”

Deshawn Goncalves switches things up with his performance of “When You Wish Upon A Star” from Pinocchio. He rearranges the song and creates a jazz version. Lionel raves that Deshawn totally “nailed” his performance. Katy says this performance showed “real, true growth” in Deshawn.

Casey Bishop wows with her stunning rendition of “When She Loved Me” from Toy Story 2. This girl is just 16, but she’s got one powerhouse voice. Katy tells Casey that her “vocals will take you to infinity and beyond.” Luke goes so far as to say Casey is a “superstar in the making.”

Similar to Deshawn, Chayce Beckham decides to switch the arrangement of “Baby Mine” from Dumbo. His alt-rock version is a standout performance. Lionel advises Chayce to not get so caught up in the fact that he’s on American Idol. “Enjoy this, this is your moment,” Lionel says. Katy commends Chayce for changing up the arrangement and making “Baby Mine” a “cool song.”

Alyssa Wray embraces her inner Disney princess with her beautiful version of “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella. She really saves her big vocals for the final part of the song. Lionel calls the performance “amazing,” and Katy adds that Alyssa was “elegant and elevated.”

Arthur returns to the Idol stage to sing his own version of “Remember Me” from Coco. He feels right at home on stage. “That was one of your best performances I’ve ever seen,” Luke says. He adds that Arthur was “so authentic” in his style and vocal tones.

Cassandra Coleman hits the stage next and performs “Go The Distance” from Hercules. Luke tells Cassandra that this was the “most comfortable” he’s seen her in the moment. Lionel keeps it short and simple, calling it an “amazing, solid performance.”

Hunter Metts is back after tearing up on stage two weeks ago after forgetting the lyrics during his performance. This week, he’s singing his mom’s favorite song, which is “You’ll Be In My Heart” from Tarzan. It’s a super sweet and slow performance. Katy has nothing but praise for Hunter. “You really swung that one,” Katy says, before adding that he “sounded great.” She admits she loved the “big leap” he took with the performance at the end.

Grace Kinstler on ‘American Idol.’ (ABC)

Grace Kinstler is ending the night with “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2. It’s a total star-making performance. Katy is nearly speechless! Luke says, “You had the eye of the tiger… you went beyond all that.”

Now it’s time for eliminations. This is going to be gut-wrenching. Ryan reveals the top 7 (in no particular order): Chayce, Casey, Willie, Hunter, Caleb, Grace, and Arthur. That means Deshawn, Alyssa, and Cassandra are going home this week.

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa have revealed one of their secrets to a happy marriage, and that’s how they take on ‘very traditional’ roles within it.

Kelly Ripa is one of the queens of daytime TV as co-host of Live with Kelly and Ryan. She’s been a mainstay on the show since 2001 and one of the highest paid daytime talents for her hard work. But when it comes to being at home, she’s more than happy being a “traditional” wife to husband of nearly 25 years, Mark Consuelos. The pair appeared on the Double Date podcast where Riverdale star Mark gushed about Kelly,”She makes the home a home.”

“What’s funny is I think of us as such a progressive as a couple. I always think of us as politically progressive…we’re progressive people,” Kelly, 50 revealed, but then explained, “And yet, when it comes to our own family and our marriage and our roles, I think of us as very traditional and almost old-fashioned in our roles.”

Kelly is thankful that she’s had jobs that have allowed her to stay put in New York City for over two decades, where she was able to be a hands on mom to raising the couple’s three children, Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin, 18. Meanwhile, Mark has travelled for his acting career over the years. His current show Riverdale shoots on the other side of the continent from Kelly in Vancouver, BC.

“I’ve been able to raise my kids here in this city, in the nest, and he’s always been willing to travel and go to a set and go off here and sometimes he’s had to go live in another country to work on a set over there,” Kelly shared. “Traveling is hard and being away from home is hard and sometimes he would miss milestones for the kids, and I know that was hard for him.”

Kelly and Mark met and fell in love while working on the soap opera All My Children together in the 90’s. When Kathie Lee Gifford departed Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in 2000, it was Mark who encouraged Kelly to pursue the co-hosting gig. She proved to be a huge hit with viewers during her stints as a fill-in host, and was given the coveted co-hosing job in 2001. While the late Regis Philbin retired from the show in 2011, Kelly is still there, having worked with current Good Morning America host Michael Strahan, 49, and now Ryan Seacrest, 46, next to her.

“I wanted to raise my kids. I didn’t want to have them and never get to see them. And the talk show afforded me this opportunity where I would work in the morning, early in the morning, and then I would have the rest of the day to take them to their activities or be there and watch the ballet recital, be there and do all of those things,” Ripa shared about how Live has afforded her a great family lifestyle.

“In that way, we’re very traditional. He made those sacrifices, but I think he wouldn’t know how to find a ballet class. He wouldn’t know how to go about signing the kids up for religion classes,” Kelly joked about her husband. But Mark is proud being the man of the house, saying he’s “a traditional guy. I feel like there are certain roles — it’s hard to explain exactly what those roles are. We had a conversation where I said, ‘Hey listen, there’s really only room for one man in this relationship and it’s going to be me.’” As of May 1, the couple will be celebrating 25 years of wedded bliss, so they definitely figured out what has made their marriage a success.

The Kardashians are shown letting their friends and crew members know that ‘KUWTK’ is coming to an end after 20 seasons in this new teaser clip.

While The Kar-Jenners announced in Sept. 2020 that Keeping Up With The Kardashians would be coming to an end after 20 seasons on E!, fans are going to get to see how the family came to make the heartbreaking decision. In a new teaser, Khloe Kardashian is seen saying how “exhausted” she feels having to tell her crew the news, as they have become her “second family.” Matriarch Kris Jenner second guesses herself on if it was right time to end the show when they did, and Kim Kardashian weeps over the decision. You can see the emotional clip here.

Kris is seen telling her family, “We all have to be on the same page because it’s such a huge decision,” about ending KUWTK, as Kim, 40, reveals in a confessional, “It was just the hardest conversation that we’ve ever had to have.” Khloe can be seen telling members of her crew, “I think of you guys as my second family.” She then in a confessional reveals “I feel so exhausted,” about having to break the news to all of her KUWTK employees.

Kim is shown in tears telling her good pal Simon Huck during a FaceTime conversation, “We ended Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” as he’s seen looking back in shock over their decision. Then Kris is seen getting emotional, saying over the phone, “It’s hard. It’s just hard,” with Khloe asking her mom “Oh my god are you crying again?”

The 65-year-old matriarch — who worked with Executive Producer Ryan Seacrest to create the show that debuted on E! in 2007 — seems to really be having a hard time with the series ending. The show helped her daughters become so famous that they were able to launch mega-successful business careers — with Kim becoming a certified billionaire in 2021 thanks to SKIMS solutionwear and KKW Beauty. But the series about the family’s wild antics, romantic lives and ride or die love for each other obviously has a special place in Kris’ heart.

“It’s just hard to think about the end,”  Kris revealed while in tears over dinner with her pal and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. “So many things are ending. And I just keep asking myself, did we make the right decision?” Kris asks. The initial video aired on the show already, as seen in the above clip where Kris confessed that telling the crew the show was coming to an end was the “hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

While the family is saying goodbye to KUWTK and E!, they aren’t leaving the small screen anytime soon. Hulu announced on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 that the Kardashian-Jenners will create exclusive content for the streaming service. “Announced today at Disney’s Investor Day, Kris, Kim Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie will create global content, which will stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and in multiple territories on Star internationally,” the company shared via Twitter. “Expected debut is late 2021 and additional details will be shared when available.” So while one chapter ends with KUWTK, another begins for the family on Hulu.

The Kar-Jenners are really saying goodbye to KUWTK once and for all on Fri. Apr. 23. Andy Cohen revealed via his Instagram stories that the show’s reunion, called The Final Curtain, was taping. He showed Kim in a red gown sitting on a white sofa with several of her sisters, while a glam squad worked on them. Andy also gave a mini-set tour where some of the iconic fashions from the show were displayed, while classic promotional photos were hanging on the walls. Andy promised of the series reunion 20 seasons in the making, “It’s a doozy. We are going there. No ground rules. Nothing’s off limits. It’s on!” for all of the questions he will be asking.

On this week’s ‘American Idol,’ Willie Spence will sing for a spot in the top 16 after impressing the judges with his past performances.

Willie Spence has been a standout contestant on season 19 of American Idol. The show’s April 4 and April 5 episodes will feature Willie and the other remaining 23 singers vying for a spot in the top 16. To get there, they’ll have to impress the judges once again while performing with various superstar singers who viewers will definitely recognize.

For his all star duet, Willie will get the chance to sing with Katharine McPhee. He’s proven week after week that he has a powerhouse voice, but singing alongside a pro like Katharine will definitely put him to the test. Here’s more to know about Willie ahead of this week’s episode:

Willie Spence on ‘American Idol.’ (ABC)
1. Wille Underwent A Major Weight Loss

Before his audition on American Idol, Willie opened up about a health scare that pushed him to lose weight to save his own life. “I turned myself into the hospital to get a checkup because I had pain in my chest,” Willie explained. “The doctors told me they found fluid in my lungs. I weighed 600 pounds. When they told me that, I knew I had to focus more on my health. I went from 600 pounds to 400 pounds.”

2. How Did Willie Lose The Weight?

Willie’s story impressed host, Ryan Seacrest, who asked him how he was able to get himself into better shape. “My eating was a big part of it,” Willie admitted. “I have a trainer now. I’m doing better. I have no fluid.” Altogether, Willie lost over 180 pounds by the time he auditioned. “I’m just being healthy and focusing,” he said. “If I don’t have good health, I won’t be able to sing.”

3. Willie Has Already Released His Own Original Music

On his official YouTube page, he posts many videos of himself covering other artists’ songs, but also shares his own original music, as well.

4. Willie Is Extremely Close With His Family

Willie credits his family with helping him get through the hard times. “I do this for my family,” he said before his audition. “They’ve always supported me. They’ve been there since the very beginning.” During showstopper week, Willie added, “This year has been a tough year. Being in the hospital really scared me. I thought I wasn’t going to survive. My family got me through it, as well, and I’m very thankful.

Willie’s family even made a virtual appearance during the episode. “We all love you with all of our hearts,” his mom, Sharon, gushed. “We pray that you continue and let God let you climb this ladder of success with American Idol.”

5. Where Is Willie From?

Willie was born in Florida and raised in Douglas, Georgia. Willie has a strong connection to his hometown. While speaking to the judges after his showstopper round performance, Willie said he knows that the people back home in Douglas are “very happy” and “proud” of him.

The judges were impressed by Claudia Conway’s performance on this week’s ‘American Idol.’

After making it through the audition round, Claudia Conway returned for Hollywood Week on the March 21 episode of American Idol. For the first round of Hollywood Week, the artists chose one of six genres to perform a song from. They then went head-to-head with other contestants from the same genre with performances in front of the judges.

Claudia chose chose the pop genre, which was the most popular choice amongst the contestants. When she stepped onstage, Katy Perry immediately commented on her major transformation — she dyed her hair from blonde to dark brown! Claudia sang “River” by Bishop Briggs, and the judges applauded her after the rendition. She even made it through to the next round of Hollywood Week!

My audition wasn’t my best,” Claudia admitted before the performance. “I was really, really nervous. I had these doubts in my head telling me, you’re not ready, you’re not good enough. In my life, I’m so focused on all the noise and people hating on me and my family online and on social media. Katy Perry told me, ‘You have to calm the storm that is around you.’ She believed in me. I could not be more grateful for that. Now, I’m just drowning out the noise and telling myself I can do it.”

This week, Claudia had a special guest with her — her mom, Kellyanne Conway, who was formerly a senior advisor for Donald Trump. Claudia and Kellyanne’s relationship has made headlines due to their very different political views, which led to tension between them that was publicized ahead of the 2020 election. “It’s okay for you to have different views than people you love,” Claudia said on Idol.

Before Claudia took the stage, Ryan Seacrest asked her how important being on this show was for her in finding out who she wants to be apart from her parents. “It’s the most important thing in the world for me,” Claudia confirmed. “I’ve been trying to establish my own identity for a while. Most people don’t know I’m a singer and it’s very, very important to me.”

Although Claudia was “literally freaking out” before her performance, she totally pulled it together! Kellyanne couldn’t have been more proud, and was on her feet in the crowd when Claudia was announced as moving on. Next, she’ll take on the Duets round in Hollywood Week.

Sharon Osbourne is thrilled that her daughter Kelly not only lost 85 pounds, but has gained so much confidence. She’s gushing about how Kelly’s mojo is ‘back’ and that her career is on fire.

Other than Kelly Osbourne herself, no one is more proud of her dramatic 85 pound weight loss than her mom Sharon, 68. The Talk panelist gushed about her daughter’s hard work when it comes to her svelte new figure and how far Kelly has come with her health journey, which included a gastric sleeve procedure several years ago. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife.com, we told her about how incredible the 36-year-old looks and Sharon exclaimed, “She does, doesn’t she?!”

“She’s a beautiful young woman and I’m so proud of her. She’s just great. It’s great looking at her and seeing her go off with her friends. Did you see her on New Year’s Eve? She was hosting. It was so much fun to watch her and I was just like, ‘Yeah! My Kelly’s back!’ It was just great,” Sharon cheered.

Kelly did live reports from NYC’s Times Square for Fox’s New Year’s Eve Roast & Toast 2021 featuring Ken Jeong and Joel McHale. She had tons of her trademark spunk, and made viewers’ night when she yelled across at Ryan Seacrest, who was hosting ABC’s NYE special nearby. Ken and Joel asked her to call Ryan “Gollum” and “to return the ring to Mordor,” in a Lord of the Rings reference. Kelly held off on the first few requests, but as it got closer to midnight, she confidently obliged and even dropped in some curse words that needed bleeping out.

That is SO something Sharon would do, so no wonder she was so proud of Kelly getting her sass back. “New Year’s Eve shows are terrible but the ‘Gollum Seacrest Incident’ made this boring drudgery worth it,” one viewer tweeted, while another added, “Thank you @joelmchale and @kenjeong for making my night a million times better by making @KellyOsbourne get bleeped out on live tv and sending @RyanSeacrest back to Mordor.”

Kelly Osbourne has gone a health overhaul in the last few years, losing 85 pounds. Photo credit: MEGA.

Kelly declared 2020 was going to a big year of transition, and she came out the other side literally looking like a new person. In a Dec. 31, 2019 Instagram post, the TV personality wrote “2020 is going to be the year of me!!! It’s time to put myself first, stop taking on other peoples sh*t and be the badass sober women I was born to be.” One year to the day, she became that badass and showed it off on national TV with her hilarious taunts at Ryan. All while looking spectacular.

You can watch Sharon as The Talk airs weekdays at 2pm EST/1pm PST on CBS.

Jade Boren
Evening Writer

The New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square will be virtual for the first time in its 114-year history. Watch it go down here, and learn where else you can watch the countdown!

This year, you won’t experience FOMO by watching the New Year’s Eve ball drop in New York City’s Times Square from your computer. That’s because just about everyone has to due to the pandemic, which has forced Times Square to turn away the public on New Year’s Eve for the first time since 1907 (the first year the ball dropped). But the show must go on — virtually, that is. You can watch a livestream of the ball drop right below on Dec. 31st, OR read on for more details on other fun ways you can watch the ball drop at midnight.

If you want to experience an even more intense version of the ball drop and the festivities leading up to it, head to this website — vnye.com — which will give you the option of watching the live broadcast of the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square from your laptop, or on the vnye app for your iPhone or Samsung. The website will offer multiple cameras for you to choose from: the main live show, the ball cam (which is what you’re looking for), the uptown cam, the times square cam, the countdown and downtown cam, the audience 1 cam, the audience 2 cam, the audience 3 cam and the world feed. All of these cameras will start streaming on Dec. 31 at 6:00 p.m. EST.

You don’t need to wait for Dec. 31st, though, to kick-start your NYE festivities. The vnye.com website (offered by Jamestown, which owns One Times Square where the ball drop celebration is annually held) has also constructed a virtual world that opened to online participants on Dec. 19. You can even play games and complete quests in this world!

Of course, you can go the traditional route by counting down as the ball drops in NYC on your television. Just turn the channel to one of the major networks: ABC, FOX, CNN or NBC. Each network will have its own special NYE broadcast, which will all end with the grand finale of the ball countdown and drop. ABC is airing Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021; FOX is airing New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey; CNN is airing New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen; NBC is airing NBC’s New Year’s Eve 2021. All these networks have apps (ABC Live, FOX Now, CNNgo and the basic NBC app) that you can watch these broadcasts on from your cellphone, too.

Jennifer Lopez celebrated New Year’s Eve 2021 in a dramatic 20-foot tall Valentino coat, then stripped down to a glittering bodysuit to perform on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ in Times Square.

Jennifer Lopez, 51, closed out 2020 with one last incredible performance — and several outfits — for her headlining set on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021 on Dec. 31, which aired on ABC. She gave audiences a thrill with the broadcast debut of her new single “In The Morning.” JLo was standing on a twenty foot tall column with a white coat covered in six large white feathered layers that cascaded all the way to the ground. JLo donned a glittery diamond head mask before taking it off, tossing off the massive coat, and showing off a glittering tight pants and a blazer with dramatic shoulders.

Fiance Alex Rodriguez, 45, could be seen among the few people allowed in the “audience,” taking video of his talented lady onstage.

Unfortunately, not many people got to witness J.Lo’s moves and sexy outfit in person (except for hosts Ryan Seacrest, Billy Porter and Lucy Hale, of course). Due to the pandemic, the New Year’s Eve ball celebration in Times Square went virtual for the first time in its 114-year history, meaning that fans had to stream J.Lo’s performance from their television or phone screens.

J.Lo wasn’t the only celebrity who had the honor of being invited to Times Square amid this special year. Jimmie Allen was another artist on the performer lineup for the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2021 broadcast, while Cyndi Lauper and Billy (who’s co-hosted the telecast, and starred on Broadway with Cyndi) also joined this list as duet partners. Machine Gun Kelly also took the stage!

There were other performances, too, outside of the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve broadcast. Legendary singer Andra Day was a headliner at the ball drop celebration, and other artists like Gloria Gaynor, Anitta and Pitbull also performed.

Even amidst a pandemic, J.Lo has managed to have an incredible year. She started it off with her iconic Super Bowl LIV halftime show performance in February, so it’s a full circle moment to see J.Lo close out the year at another concert that’s broadcasting around the world. Sadly, J.Lo was supposed to tie the knot with Alex in 2020 as well, a ceremony that has been postponed multiple times. But, as you can see, J.Lo’s not letting a sudden change of plans affect what she does best: put on a good show.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Katie Couric & Ryan Seacrest also paid tribute to the legendary television host, who bravely continued to work through his cancer diagnosis.

Jeopardy! fans around the world are mourning the loss of Alex Trebek at 80. The iconic television host — who was the face of the trivia series for over three-decades — sadly passed away following a battle with stage four pancreatic cancer. Celebrities like John Legend and Ryan Reynolds took to social media to pay tribute to Alex, reflecting on their own childhood memories of watching him on Jeopardy! John tweeted, “I was obsessed with Jeopardy as a nerdy kid growing up in Ohio. I’ve loved and revered Alex Trebek since I can remember.”

The Bigger Love singer also tipped his hate to Alex’s incredible run on the show. “What an iconic career. RIP Alex Trebek,” he added. Just minutes after news of Alex’s passing was announced, fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds reflected on his opportunity to work with the Sudbury, Ontario native last year. “Alex Trebek was kind enough to film a cameo for our film Free Guy last year despite his battle. He was gracious and funny. In addition to being curious, stalwart, generous, reassuring and of course, Canadian. We love you, Alex. And always will,” Ryan — who hails from Vancouver, British Columbia — posted.

Many others in the television and broadcasting industry paid tribute, including former news anchor Katie Couric. “Alex Trebek died today at the age of 80 after a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer. A Jeopardy! spokesperson said he was at home surrounded by friends and family,” she began, before sharing an emotional and personal memory about her late husband Jay Monahan. “Alex was an incredibly kind man who helped make happy memories for so many families. My late husband Jay and I would always watch the show together and it still makes me smile and think of him. I am so sad to hear of his passing and I’m sending love to the Trebek family. He will always be an American treasure,” she also penned.

Hosts Ryan Seacrest and Steve Harvey also shared condolences about Alex, who paved the way for many in television. “Alex Trebek was like a family member who I watched every night. I remember going to the set to watch him tape a show before I started my TV career. He was a big influence and one of a kind. Rest in peace, Alex,” the American Idol host shared on Instagram. “My heart is so sad over the passing of the classiest game show host of all time!!! His style was real to me …… condolences to his entire family and fans #AlexTrebek,” Steve — who hosts Family Feud — tweeted.

Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote a sweet tribute to Alex, confessing one “regret” in her career was not appearing on Celebrity Jeopardy! “I have loved @jeopardy since I was child. I don’t believe in regrets – but if I had to pick one – it would be never having done #celebrityjeopardy with the incomparable #alextrebek,” the fellow Daytime Emmy winner shared. “Alex you taught me a love of trivia, that has passed down to my children. You made being smart, cool. My kids don’t often think I am cool (or my husband for that matter) but every time we were a question on your show, our status went up with them. You will be missed, but your mark on tv is forever #ripalextrebek,” she also added, referencing her two kids with Freddie Prinze Jr., Charlotte, 11, and Rocky, 8.

Six months after splitting from husband Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari is moving on! An insider spilled the tea about her relationship with comedian Jeff Dye.

Kristin Cavallari, 33, has embarked on a new romance with Jeff Dye, 37! The Very Cavallari star surprised fans when she was spotted making out with the comedian at a Chicago bar on Saturday, Oct. 10 — and it turns out the couple have been “casually” dating. “Kristin and Jeff started talking a few weeks ago. He reached out to her via DM on Instagram and she replied. It’s only developed into something more as of recent,” an insider spilled to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “They’re dating, but it’s pretty casual right now,” they confirmed.

Jeff, who appeared NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is a big departure from her NFL star ex Jay Cutler, 37 — and our source says Kristin is loving the change! “She loves [Jeff’s] comedic structure because she has a really dry sense of humor and so does Jeff. Jay is the total opposite of Jeff,” our source explained, noting that her kids Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and Saylor, 4, are her top priority. “She’s taking things very slow because of the kids and the divorce. She doesn’t want to jeopardize her kids understanding of everything because they’re so young and what exactly this means to them, but she likes spending time with him,” the source tells HL.

Kristin and Jay married in June 2013 after several years of dating, but sadly called it quits in April 2020. “Her relationship has really been done with Jay for 2 years now and she kept what was happening very private as she tried to figure out if she could make things work with him for the sake of the kids but she couldn’t,” the insider added. “She contemplated it for quite some time. Kristin really did try but she felt like Jay just wasn’t putting in the effort she deserved,” they concluded.

Since the split, which the couple both confirmed via statements on Instagram, the Uncommon James has revealed she’s actively trying to drop Jay’s last name. “Technically I’m still Cutler. [I’m] working on that, but I’m literally going to take a note right now to change it,” she said to radio host Ryan Seacrest as she held up a piece of paper with her legal married name.

Kristin Elizabeth Cutler will soon be no more. Former E! star Kristin Cavallari is taking back her maiden name legally amid her divorce from retired NFL player Jay Cutler.

Fun fact, Kristin Cavallari was so devoted to husband Jay Cutler when they married in 2013 that she legally took his surname. The former The Hills star kept her maiden name for professional purposes since she was already famous on her own at the time the couple wed. Now that they are divorcing, the 33-year-old wants to make sure she legally changes her name from Kristin Elizabeth Cutler back to Cavallari.

Some fans weren’t aware that she legally is Kristin Cutler when the Uncommon James founder did a virtual Zoom interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Sept. 30. Her name popped up on Ryan’s  screen as “Kristin Cutler,” which host Ryan Seacrest, 45, pointed out. “Technically I’m still Cutler. [I’m] working on that, but I’m literally going to take a note right now to change it,” the former Very Cavallari star responded, literally holding up a piece of paper and thanking Ryan for alerting her to how her last name appeared.

Kristin told fans she legally changed her name on June 7, 2013, when she and Jay wed in a ceremony outside Nashville, TN. She shared an Instagram and Twitter photo of their wedding bands and simply wrote, “I’m officially Kristin Elizabeth Cutler!!!!!” in the caption of her diamond encrusted band sitting atop Jay’s black band.

The former MTV star and the 37-year-old retired former Chicago Bears quarterback officially called it quits in April 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage and just under ten as a couple. During that time they welcomed three children, sons Camden, 7, Jaxon, 6, and daughter Saylor, 4. Jay retired in 2017 at the age of 34 after being cut from the Bears. He went on to appear on Very Cavallari, but at times was critical and hurtful of his wife on camera.

On Apr. 26, both Kristin and Jay shared Instagram photos together in better times with the announcement, “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

They asked for privacy as they “navigate this difficult time within our family,” but that was quickly blown apart by Kristin’s claims in court documents that Jay was “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.” She also called him “controlling and manipulative throughout the marriage” and alleged that Jay tried to freeze their financial accounts to prevent her from buying a new home after their split. The pair also initially seemed to argue over child custody, though on May 4, 2020 they reached a shared custody agreement for their three kids.

The post comes just an hour after news broke that Regis passed of natural causes, confirmed by his family on Saturday, July 25. “We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved Regis Philbin passed away last night of natural causes, one month shy of his 89th birthday,” his family said in a statement. “His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him – for his warmth, his legendary sense of humor, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about. We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career and ask for privacy as we mourn his loss,” it also read.

Kourtney Kardashian and Tik Tok star Addison Rae are officially pals! The duo teamed up for an adorable new video, and wore matching outfits.

New BFF alert? Kourtney Kardashian, 41, and Addison Rae, 19, have teamed up for a new Tik Tok video — and fans are going crazy! The pair danced in what appeared to be Kourt’s wardrobe, while wearing matching white sweaters that featured colorful love hearts. “take 5,” Addison captioned the video, which garnered more than five million likes less than 24 hours after it was posted. The pair performed a cute dance, with a number of simple moves like linking their arms while referring to each other as their “bestie”.

Fans were quick to point out that the pair were a total “power duo” and almost looked like sisters, wearing their matching oversized sweaters without pants, and styling their long brunette tresses into a sleek, straight style. “You know you made it when ur friends with a kardashian,” one follower commented, while another notes the crossover between an established celeb and the TikTok world, “we’ve made it as tiktokers now thank you Addison.”

YouTuber David Dobrik also commented on the video, writing, “hahahahahaha after 6 hours of choreography yall pulled it off.” Just a couple of weeks earlier the pair teamed up for a six-minute booty workout for her lifestyle website, Poosh, and she shared it with her fans on May 27 — the very same day that her ex, Scott Disick, made headlines for his split from Sofia Richie. For the workout video, Kourtney put her abs on full display in high-waisted leggings and a sports bra. Her glutes were worked out HARD in the video, and her leg muscles were visible through her leggings as she worked it out.

Addison was also in the spotlight after she caught up with Kelly Ripa, 49, and Ryan Seacrest, 45, on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Kelly asked Addison questions about TikTok while also humbly explaining that she doesn’t know “how it works” and admitted she has seen videos in which daughter Lola is dancing alongside a video of the star doing the same dance moves. “It’s called a duet,” Addison told her while laughing. “Duet! OK, I got it,” Kelly happily replied.

Kelly Ripa proved she’s comfortable and stylish when she fearlessly revealed that she was filming ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ in her nightgown and just slipped on a black and white striped top over it.

When it comes to clothes, Kelly Ripa, 49, is taking advantage of filming Live With Kelly and Ryan from the comfort of her own home! The talk show host told Ryan Seacrest, 45, that she was actually wearing a nightgown under her visible black and white striped coverup top on the June 16 episode of the show. She hilariously talked about the tricks of appearing fully clothed, proving that not everything is what it appears to be!

“I’m wearing a literal beach cover-up as clothes now,” she told Ryan. “I just slip that over my nightgown. That’s what I’m doing.”

Kelly’s admission doesn’t comes as too much of a surprise since she’s been open about her joy of feeling comfortable while filming the show at home in quarantine due to COVID-19. A few weeks ago, she talked about her love of caftan dresses and on the May 12 episode, she showed off a floral loose caftan dress that her husband Mark Consuelos, 49, gave her 10 years ago. “If you don’t want to wear clothes, but you don’t want to commit to pajamas, you can wear a caftan,” she said during the show. “I’ve always worn caftans… I wear them at night, I wear them at home.”

In addition to talking about comfortable clothes on the June 16 show, Kelly talked about her daughter Lola, who turned 19 on the special day. She joked about trying to wake the birthday girl up at the time she was born in the morning while she was sleeping and Ryan insisted she put it on Skype live so he could see her reaction. She also took to Instagram to share a cute post in honor of her only daughter and it included some cute throwback pics of her and a loving message.

“Happy birthday to @theyoungestyung my baby girl. The heart and soul of our family. We love you BIG! ♥️❤️♥️❤️❤️♥️❤️🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂,” the caption read.

Kelly and Ryan have been broadcasting their show live from their own homes since the coronavirus pandemic caused most states to issue stay-at-home orders around Mar. Although some states are slowly reopening, it’s not clear when the hosts will be able to return to their New York studio and/or if it will still include a live audience.

Kelly Ripa has taken working remotely to a whole new level! She’s been with her family in the Caribbean while filming her morning show ever since the coronavirus quarantine began.

Kelly Ripa has managed to log Caribbean vacation time while still hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan each morning during quarantine. It turns out that she hasn’t been at home in New York when she appears remotely on TV every day. Instead, Kelly, 49, her husband Mark Consuelos, also 49, and their three kids are staying at an “island hideaway” as first reported by Page Six on May 21. The site says that the family was already there when New York’s shelter in place order began in March and decided to stay put in paradise. A source familiar with the show has confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that Page Sixs report “is accurate.”

While it might sound glamorous to literally be trapped on an idyllic Caribbean island, quarantine hasn’t been easy for Kelly. She’s discussed on Live how much she misses being able to hug her parents Joe and Esther Ripa, and that her two of her three kids with Mark, daughter Lola, 18, and sons Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 17, won’t hug their mom even though they’re all in lockdown together. On Apr. 9 she told co-host Ryan Seacrest — who is filming remotely from his L.A. home– that, “I’m not going to lie, okay? I’m going to let you in on a little secret: I’m currently not speaking to two of my three kids. I’m not talking to two of them. Just because, we’re all in the same boat together, right?”

“I haven’t gotten to hug my parents. I want to hug my parents. I miss hugging my parents,” Kelly confessed while welling up with tears. “And my kids, like, won’t hug me. And I’m like, ‘Guys, we’ve all been in lockdown together. We’re fine. You can give me a hug. It’s fine.’” She continued, “Anyway, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I’m crying. Maybe I’m just going to get my period, who knows. Sorry, sorry. Sometimes we forget that we’re on. Did I shout that, or did my inner monologue come out? Sorry, didn’t mean to do that.”

Here’s Kelly today, May 21, on Live with the now familiar generic white curtains and chair from her Caribbean hideaway behind her:

While here is Kelly and Mark co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan together on Apr. 20 from their island getaway retreat:

Kelly and Mark helped Michael celebrate a major milestone on May 21 while still in the Caribbean…and she got a much needed hug from her son out of it! Their eldest child became a college grad! Since NYU like all other universities is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and no formal ceremony was held, the couple brought the celebration to the tropics. Kelly shared a photo to her Instagram showing Michael wearing a NYU t-shirt with a mortar board cap and tassel, while standing between his folks with his arms around them.

Behind them was the mirror surrounded by colorful pink, yellow and orange flowers that is partially seen in Kelly’s daily appearances on Live. She beamed in a blue and white tropical shirt with her hair pulled back and captioned the pic, “And just like that you graduated college. MJC, the joy and pride you have brought our family is indescribable. I love you with all my heart #NYU #2020.” Hopefully the family was able to celebrate by beach afterwards at their island getaway!
