Garcelle Beauvais is ‘hoping’ Bravo asks her to return to ‘RHOBH’ after she brought a fresh and funny personality to the explosive 10th season! However, one cast member warned her that every rookie’s 2nd season isn’t so pleasant.

Garcelle Beauvais is hopeful that Bravo will ask her to return as a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But, she’s admittedly scared to return after costar Lisa Rinna shared some veteran tea with her. “At the reunion, actually, Rinna said, ‘Your first season is always nice and pleasant and the second one they come for you,’” Garcelle recalled on SiriusXM’s EW Live with Jessica Shaw on August 6. “And I said ‘is that a warning’ and she said ‘yes!’ So I’m a little scared. I’m a little scared,” she admitted.

As HollywoodLife previously reported, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 reunion was filmed on July 16. And, things presumably got heated because following the taping, both Garcelle and Denise Richards  unfollowed Rinna on social media. Additionally, The Bold and the Beautiful actress also unfollowed costars Erika Jayne Girardi and Teddi Mellencamp.

Elsewhere in Garcelle’s interview, Shaw asked if the women got together after the Season 10 reunion taping to “rehash everything.” It turns out that some of them did, and two others apparently didn’t get the invite.

“No one talked. Apparently some of them got together afterwards but me and Sutton weren’t invited,” Garcelle revealed, adding that not everyone received Denise’s cease and desist letter. “Some people got it. I did not get a cease and desist,” she said, noting that it was “amazing that she [Denise] was able to do that, honestly.” Garcelle also revealed that the cease and desist letter will be discussed at the reunion. “Yes of course, come on. Rinna’s gonna bring it up, absolutely,” she said.

Garcelle also weighed in on if she believes Denise will return for Season 11, following the drama about her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville — which was the central topic of Season 10. “We talked about that yesterday. I said I hope so,” Garcelle said, explaining, “She’s like if you don’t come back, I’m not coming back and I’m like and if you don’t come back, I’m not coming back.”

A source with knowledge of the Season 10 reunion taping previously told HollywoodLife that Denise took the “brunt” of the drama from the other women. “The ladies went in really hard on Denise at the reunion. Despite this, she held her own very well and fought back,” the insider said.

Fans of the show will know that Denise has been accused all season of having an alleged affair with former full-time Beverly Hills Housewife Brandi — during her marriage with Aaron Phypers. Denise has vehemently denied the affair allegation since the news was reported in early January. Denise has also made it clear on the show that she and Aaron “do not have an open marriage.”

The actress added that Bravo is thinking about beginning filming on Season 11 in September. Though the network has not confirmed anything about the next season. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 pm ET. A plot twist has emerged in the ongoing drama between Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville. In a sneak peek for the Aug. 4 episode of ‘RHOBH,’ Denise claims that Brandi said she had sex with a different ‘RHOBH’ cast member!

The July 29 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills left off on a cliffhanger. Brandi Glanville, 47, boldly claimed that she hooked up with Denise Richards, 48, earlier this season, but in a preview that aired after Wednesday’s episode, Denise alleged that Brandi said she actually had sex with someone else on the cast! Denise made the major claim during a dinner amid the cast trip to Rome.

A clip from the July 29 episode of RHOBH. Denise Richards reacts in anger after Teddi Mellencamp reveals that Brandi Glanville claimed that she and Denise had sex.

“I don’t know Brandi Glanville very well. I don’t know you well, either,” Teddi Mellencamp said in the teaser for the show’s Aug. 4 episode. On that note, Denise alleges, “I will tell you, Brandi said that she’s had sex with some of the people from this group.”

Kyle Richards is taken aback by such an assertion. “Someone at this table right now?,” Kyle asks, to which Denise says, “Yes.” That’s when the ladies of RHOBH turn to Lisa Rinna, mouths agape in shock! Alas, the teaser ends there.

Right before this surprise twist, fans saw Teddi confront Denise with the rumor of her affair with Brandi. “She [Brandi] said you two had sex,” Teddi revealed to Denise amid the cast’s dinner in Rome, a claim that left Denise furious. “Are you f***ing kidding me?,” Denise asked, and added that she had “no idea” why Brandi would make up such rumors. The ladies were doubtful, and it didn’t help that Denise said Brandi was lying about “that” — AKA, their alleged affair — before Teddi even made it clear that she was talking about the sex rumor!

I’m literally just telling the truth 💗

— Brandi Glanville (@BrandiGlanville) July 30, 2020

The claim that Brandi supposedly had sex with a RHOBH cast member who wasn’t Denise, though, was a new rumor. For months, fans’ focus has been on whether or not Denise and Brandi hooked up ever since a report of their alleged “months-long affair” emerged in Jan. 2020 from Daily Mail. Denise (who has been married to Aaron Phypers since 2018) has repeatedly denied the allegation, while Brandi went into detail about their alleged hookup on the July 22 episode of RHOBH. However, the cast has been more rattled about what Denise has allegedly been saying about her co-stars behind their backs, according to Brandi’s claims.

“They just want [Denise] to be truthful and feel like she’s not about a variety of things, but they really don’t care if she did or didn’t have the affair. Most of them seem to believe Brandi,” an insider EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife after the cast filmed the Season 10 reunion on July 16.

Denise Richards denied saying that Teddi Mellencamp lives in her dad, John Mellencamp’s, shadow, taking to Instagram to say she ‘never said’ anything of the sort.

There’s so much shade going around between the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that we’re practically living under palm trees! In the latest squabble between cast members Teddi Mellencamp and Denise Richards, the latter took to Instagram to tell Teddi off about allegedly dissing the 39-year-old mother-of-three for living in her dad, John Mellencamp‘s, “shadow.” Denise started out her rebuttal by posting a tweet Teddi shared on July 22.

Denise Richards responds after Teddi Mellencamp claims that Denise referred to Teddi as living in her father, John Mellencamp’s, shadow, courtesy of Instagram.

But her caption was the real highlight. “Grown ass woman stooping to that level… sorry,” Denise began the caption to her Instagram post. “I never said you live in your dad’s shadow. Ever. I don’t care what you were told,” she went on. Denise then described how truly devastated she was that Teddi fed into certain rumors about Denise — possibly linking her to Brandi Glanville, who allegedly had an affair with the 49-year-old former Bond girl.

Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp continue to stoke their drama in a new response Denise levied at Teddi after Teddi claimed that Denise said she was living in her father, John Mellencamp’s, shadow [AP Images].“I was hurt you felt the need to share a salacious untrue rumor about my marriage, especially given you are the daughter of a famous father & know what the potential impact could’ve been with my kids & family,” she said. “That is all I have ever said about your family.” Denise then signed off with “Aka (Dennis),” in reference to the name Teddi’s father called her in the original text message he sent Teddi.

The route of this recent episode in this drama saga began with the image featured as a screenshot from Teddi’s convo with her famous dad, 68, known widely for his tune “Jack and Diane,” which she posted to Twitter. The text exchange featured John writing to his daughter, “I know you are busy living in my shadow, but,” and then sent her a meme of the two of them with the words “Dennis Richards — never heard of him.”

Teddi told her father he knew who “Denise” was, describing her as “the girl who mentions Charlie Sheen every episode!” Adding to the exchange, Teddi added in the caption to her tweet, that she “got my sense of humor from my dad’s shadow.” Yikes! But Teddi’s own source for the information came directly from Brandi, which you can see in the clip above from the July 22nd episode. Somehow, the RHOBH drama always comes full circle.

Don’t miss out on the next episode from the 10th season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills on Wednesday, July 29, on Bravo.

‘RHOBH’ star Teddi Mellencamp and her rocker dad John are clapping back at Denise Richards after she alleged that Teddi lived under John’s ‘shadow.’ Teddi even joked about Denise name dropping her ex Charlie Sheen.

Teddi Mellencamp got some unsettling news during the July 22 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that Denise Richards had been viciously backstabbing her. Former show regular Brandi Glanville, 47, alleged that Dense told her Teddi would “do anything to be in this group” of women because she was desperately trying to get out from under her famous rock star dad John Mellencamp‘s “shadow.” That didn’t sit well with father or daughter, and the 39-year-old Bravo star shared a text between them, where John had a snarky question about who Denise was.

The top of the text showed “Dads new cell” and he wrote to Teddi, “I know you are busy living in my shadow but…” Then he shared a photo of himself with Teddi and dissed the former Bond girl by botching her name, adding “Dennis Richards. Never heard of him.”

Teddi kept the laughter going, writing, “You know who DENISE is dad.” She then took a swipe about how Denise drops her ex-husband Charlie Sheen‘s name. “She is the girl who mentions Charlie Sheen ever episode,” Teddi added, before telling her father, “Love you, call you tomorrow.”

Teddi snarked the Twitter post caption showing their text exchange, “Got my sense of humor from my dad’s shadow. #RHOBH.” Fans loved it, with @lizabeth_kb replying, “@TeddiMellencamp Pretty clear Dennis is jealous of everyone else on the show. Especially you,” while user @momofky331 shared laughing so hard she was crying emojis and wrote, “@TeddiMellencamp I think bravo should do a episode with you and your dad watching an episode of Beverly Hills!”

During tonight’s episode, former show star Brandi warned Kyle Richards, 51, and Teddi that Denise had been backstabbing them. “I don’t want to go totally into it, but what you see isn’t what you get,” Brandi explained about Denise. She then turned to Teddi and said, “She doesn’t like you at all. At all. She’s said horrible things about you. You’re obnoxious. You’ll do anything to be in this group cause you’ve lived under your dad’s shadow all of your life. It’s just like, mean.” At least Teddi and John were able to share a laugh about it.

Andy Cohen threw fans into a tizzy with this IG post of him with cardboard cut outs of the ladies — with several believing the pic could mean Kyle & Teddi are next to be fired!

Did Andy Cohen just give Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans a hint about the shows’ future? The 52-year-old Watch What Happens Live host shared a photo of himself posing at home with life size cardboard cut outs of the current cast, including Kyle Richards, 51, Denise Richards, 49, Erika Girardi, 49, Lisa Rinna, 57, Dorit Kemsley, 44, Garcelle Beauvais, 53, and Teddi Mellencamp, 39. “#RHOBH Reunion Cosplay… I miss them!” Andy captioned his post, shared to his Instagram account on Friday, July 18.

While it looked like Andy was simply having some fun in his backyard, some fans read into the photo as a possible hint about who could be leaving the series after this season — in particular, OG cast member Kyle and Teddi, who joined in season 8. “Kyle and Teddi on the end…is this a hint as to who won’t have a diamond next?” one of Andy’s 3.9 million followers added. “I hope this would be the seating order. Goodbye Kyle & Teddi!” another fan commented, while a third pondered why Erika and Lisa Rinna were “seated the closest” to the Housewives EP. The comments play into the long running theory that those who sit closest to Andy during reunions are safe for the upcoming season, but those seated furthest could be in jeopardy.

The post comes just a day after the ladies filmed the reunion for season 10, which was “bulls—” according to Lisa Rinna. “Reunion was bulls— today,” the Days Of Our Lives alum began her post, written in white text over a green background. “I’ve never said that in 6 years. I guess cease and desists do work,” she added, referencing the  alluding to the cease and desist letter that Denise Richards, 49, sent to Brandi Glanville, 47. The letter was sent after Brandi alleged that she had a sexual relationship with Denise. After the reunion taping, fans quickly noticed that Denise unfollowed Lisa, Erika, and Teddi.

Notably, newcomer Sutton Stracke, 49, was not included in Andy’s latest photo as she was already moved to a part-time role on the series. “My ex-husband just was adamant that [my kids’ could not film with me, and I totally get it,” she explained on the May 22 episode of podcast Reality Life with Kate Casey. “It was hard. It was a hard blow because, you know, it’s exciting to do,” she also said.

Teddi Mellencamp’s daughter will undergo skull surgery for a premature fusion of her bones. Two doctors explained the ‘extremely rare’ condition and its surgery.

Teddi Mellencamp, 39, had alarming news on July 6: her four-month-old daughter, Dove, was diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis and is undergoing neurosurgery by the end of the month. While this diagnosis is “extremely uncommon,” the procedure is “not very complicated,” Dr. Daniel Roshan, New York City’s top high-risk, maternal-fetal OB-GYN, EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. We spoke with Dr. Roshan, in addition to Tim Vogel M.D. (a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon at the North Jersey Brain and Spine Center), who both explained what exactly is Lambdoid Craniosynostosis, the potential dangers of this condition and what the correcting surgery entails.

Dealing with anxiety, especially when in the “public eye,” isn’t easy; and going into July it’s at an all-time high. I was torn as to whether I should share this information, but as someone who tries to be as transparent as possible, and knowing I have a platform to reach others in similar situations, I would like to update you all. Our sweet baby Dove was diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis and has to undergo neurosurgery at the end of the month. We are so grateful to have an amazing team of doctors and surgeons who have caught this early and will be working on her. Originally, like Cruz before her, we thought Dove had Torticollis and would likely need a doc band for re-shaping. Instead a CT scan showed Lambdoid Craniosynostosis (Lambdoid craniosynostosis is a very rare type of non-syndromic craniosynostosis and occurs when one of the lambdoid sutures at the back of the head fuses before birth). The recovery is about a week in the hospital and a couple weeks at home with a very high success rate. So although we are filled with nerves as neurosurgery sounds scary, we have our faith that she will be ok. Please keep baby Dove in your prayers and if you have had a child with this same surgery, please let me know below, as I would love any additional insight and support. Sending 💕 to you all.

A post shared by Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave (@teddimellencamp) on Jul 6, 2020 at 11:32am PDT

“Craniosynostosis is when the sutures of the baby’s skull fuse, or come together, sooner than they should,” Roshan, the OB-GYN doctor, explained to HollywoodLife. “There are several ‘plates’ or bones of our skull and when a baby is born those plates are not fused together. This allows the baby’s skull to be pushed out of the mother’s vagina during delivery. It also allows the baby’s brain to grow which happens, for the most part, until a child reaches the age of two. So by the age of two, the plates typically shift into place and the fuse together. The lines at which they fuse together are called sutures. Each suture has a different name, as well.”

“So if Teddi’s baby has Lambdoid Craniosynostosis, then that refers to the lambdoid suture which is located at the back of the baby’s head,” Dr. Roshan added. “This type of Craniosynostosis is extremely uncommon and the rarest type. Out of all the cases of Craniosynostosis, it happens in one to five percent of the cases.”

Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave welcomed their third child, daughter Dove, on Feb. 25, 2020. (Shutterstock)

When asked if this could’ve been prevented, Dr. Vogel (who works as a pediatric neurosurgeon) said “the short answer is no.” The medical expert added, “Lambdoid Craniosynostosisis is very rare and it usually happens sporadically, meaning due to the position in the womb or just some random interfaces of these bones. It’s not really a preventable thing. There is a rare portion that can be genetic. So if there is Lambdoid Craniosynostosis in the family there are certain proteins that can be expressed during development that cause these bones to stick together.” Basically, the fusion usually happens at “random” — but there’s a “genetic link” on “rare occasions.”

Regardless, surgery is necessary — and the only option. “If left untreated, the baby’s brain can’t grow properly which can cause increased pressure around the baby’s brain and lead to developmental delays, impaired cognitive development…which are caused by constriction of the growing brain,” Dr. Roshan told us. Fortunately, the surgery itself shouldn’t be a cause of concern. “A pediatric neurosurgeon would have to go in and reopen the sutures, it’s not a very complicated surgery but if it’s not done, it can cause damage to the brain if it’s not allowed to grow,” Dr. Roshan added.

As the head of the Craniofacial surgery program who has performed on multiple patients with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis, Dr. Vogel was able to dive into more details about this procedure. He clarified that this is not “brain surgery,” but rather “skull surgery.” In most cases, there are also two types of surgeries, depending on the child’s age.

“There’s a minimally invasive surgery that involves an endoscope. The endoscopic procedure is usually done before four months of age. A small incision is made in the skin, and we use an endoscope to go in and remove the bone that’s fused together,” Dr. Vogel explained of the first option. “So we remove that rigid bone that’s fused together. We take out that fused bone. And then we will use a helmet to help reshape and help the skull grow in a normal shape. And they will require a helmet until eight or nine months of age. The advantage is it’s literally an overnight procedure. You do the procedure, you don’t usually need a blood transfusion and you’re able to go home the next day. You do have to wear the helmet for several months.”

“The other surgery option is called a Total Cranial Vault Remodeling or CVR,” Dr. Vogel continued. “It requires an incision ear to ear over the top of the head. We peel down the scalp and we go in and we have to open up and kind of reconture the skull and that is usually done after six months of age. I always advocate for eight to 12 months of age, because that’s when you know when children are born, they have their mother’s blood supply. And then around six to eight months their bone marrow starts to make their own blood. So, so we usually wait until they’re at least that age until we start doing the larger surgery. And usually after the CVR the child requires transfusions because their blood volume is so small. And they’re in the hospital usually three to five days.”

The minimally invasive option takes “less than an hour,” but Total Cranial Vault Remodeling (CVR) is “much more extensive and usually takes three or four hours,” Dr. Vogel said. As expected, this means the first option has a faster healing process versus the second. “[With] the minimally invasive procedure, the incision will heal in a couple weeks or, you know even the first week, and then it’s letting the head grow in the helmet. But from the Cranial Vault remodeling aspect, it takes about three months for the bone to kind of get to where it needs to be, for the skull to fuse up to be a solid skull that’s protecting the brain as it should,” Dr. Vogel said.

Regardless, sending your child to surgery for any reason is scary for a mother. Teddi admitted that her anxiety was at an “all-time high” while revealing the news of her daughter’s upcoming neurosurgery. “The recovery is about a week in the hospital and a couple weeks at home with a very high success rate. So although we are filled with nerves as neurosurgery sounds scary, we have our faith that she will be ok,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who shares Dove with husband Edwin Arroyave, wrote on Instagram. Teddi shares two other kids with Edwin: her daughter Slate, 7, and her son Cruz, 5.

Kyle Richards opened up about what ‘RHOBH’ is like without her fellow OG, Lisa Vanderpump! Her co-star, Teddi Mellencamp, also gave her two cents on how the show has changed during their appearance on ‘WWHL.’

Kyle Richards, 51, didn’t deny that it was a big change to film The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills without her longtime co-star Lisa Vanderpump, 59. However, she has learned to adapt! While appearing on the “After Show” segment for the April 29 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kyle revealed what it actually felt like to film without the only other person who had stayed on the show since Season 1. “People keep asking me if it was weird for me to do the show without Lisa, and before we started I did feel weird,” Kyle confessed to Andy Cohen. “Because we had started together, 10 years ago.”

Kyle doesn’t feel the same way anymore, though. “But once we started filming the show just like takes off and all these women have so much stuff going on,” she explained. “Things start happening that you really don’t think about it honestly.” At that point, Teddi Mellencamp — another guest star on the show — chimed in, saying, “I’ve been able to get to know everybody in such a different way than I did in my past two seasons as well.”

The conversation came up since Andy was looking to see if Kyle and Teddi would agree that Season 10 was a “fresh start,” since the drama surrounding LVP has been left behind. “Her name came up once in the first episode in a cheeky way — and she is not an issue this season,” he observed in a matter-of-fact way (with no shade intended, mind you). This drama is what drove Lisa off the show.

“Sign up, you’re [a] fu***ng target for 25 episodes of them just talking about me, and relentlessly pounding on me, when I was at a very fragile time in my life,” Lisa EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife at BravoCon in Nov. 2019. While filming the show, Lisa had also been processing the tragic suicide of her brother Mark, all while juggling the drama of Puppygate. On top of that, fans saw Lisa and Kyle’s friendship end right on the show. Kyle had confronted Lisa over a rumor that claimed the restaurateur sold a Puppygate story (which painted Dorit Kemsley in a bad light) to Radar Online, which Lisa adamantly denied. As a result, Kyle was kicked out of Villa Rosa, and Lisa’s relationship with the RHOBH cast just wasn’t the same from there on out.
