Travis Scott wasn’t by Kylie Jenner’s side at Hulu’s premiere night for ‘The Kardashians’ — even though he’s set to appear on the show. A source reveals to HL EXCLUSIVELY why.

Travis Scott was notably missing from Hulu’s premiere of The Kardashians and by Kylie Jenner‘s side on April 7 — and a source tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that the 30-year-old rapper “thought it was best” if he didn’t attend the event. “Travis thought that if he was at the premiere, he would have taken away from what the night was meant to be. He has a lot of things to deal with and if he was out at a premiere having a fun time, he knows exactly how that would look like,” the insider revealed. Travis is, however, set to appear on the series with Kylie.

The Houston native has kept a relatively low profile after the Astroworld music festival tragedy in Nov. 2021 that resulted in the deaths of 10 people, including many more injured. “He is not interested in playing that game. He is interested in being in a place where everything goes smoothly and him not being there is what needed to happen,” the source explained. He only recently performed for the first time at a private Oscar party two weeks ago, held by Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva at a Bel-Air residence.

“There was zero issue for him not being [at the Hulu premiere], it was all a part of the plan,” the told HL. Other partners of the Kardashian and Jenner clan were on hand, however: Kourtney Kardashian made it a family affair with fiancé Travis Barker, while Kim Kardashian also went red-carpet official with boyfriend Pete Davidson at the event, and Kris Jenner‘s boyfriend Corey Gamble happily posed for some photos.

Travis, however, wanted to let his cosmetic mogul girlfriend — who just gave birth to their second child, a son, in February — enjoy her big night. “Travis has made public appearances over the past few months, but he and Kylie have not stepped out together for a big event like this since their baby was born,” a second source said of the couple, who are also parents to 4-year-old daughter Stormi. Notably, Stormi was also not present for the event, but cousins Reign, 6, and True, 4, were in attendance.

“Travis and Kylie discussed the premiere, but ultimately Travis decided it was best to sit this one out. He didn’t want anything to take away from Kylie’s big night,” the second insider said to HL, adding that the “Franchise” rapper stayed home with his children. “He didn’t want people making this premiere all about their first appearance on the red carpet with Kylie since the birth of their baby. Travis wanted to let Kylie shine and he was watching the kids.”

Scott Disick attended the Hulu premiere with new GF Rebecca Donaldson, but things were awkward with ex Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker’s family night.

Scott Disick is still very much part of the Kardashian clan — however, the 38-year-old “felt like an outcast” at the premiere for the family’s new Hulu series, which drops on April 14. The Talentless CEO attended the black carpet event with his new girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson, 27, while ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian made it a family affair with fiancé Travis Barker and son Reign, 6, and Travis’ kids Landon, 18, Alabama, 16, and stepdaughter Atiana, 22. Although Scott has maintained public support for Kourt and Travis, sources tell HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY why he still was in an “awkward position.”

“Scott totally felt like the outcast last night. He wasn’t especially happy about having to be there for Kourtney and Travis’s family night,” the insider explained. “He knew that Kourtney had planned this big family outing with Travis, and he was made aware of this by multiple people. He knew how important this was to Kourtney that there be no drama,” the source detailed.

Of course, Scott was a major player on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which ran on E! for 20 seasons. His early romance with Kourtney — including a near-wedding in Las Vegas — was all caught on cameras. Beyond that, viewers followed their trials and tribulations over the years, including multiple splits, Scott’s battle with alcoholism, and becoming parents of three to Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and youngest, Reign. Kourtney and Travis confirmed their PDA-filled romance last Spring, however, viewers of The Kardashians will get a closer look at the pairs’ relationship — including the Blink-182 drummer’s romantic Montecito proposal.

“Scott is in an awkward position right now because, since the beginning of the show, his drama and love story with Kourtney was a central focus. And now Travis has taken that role and it is so upsetting to Scott,” the source tells HL. “It’s like he got recast.”

The reality star has been hanging out consistently with Rebecca, a model, in recent weeks though: the two were seen enjoying a date at the ritzy Nobu Malibu this weekend, just says after the Hulu premiere. Our insider also revealed that he even introduced the 27-year-old to Kourtney at The Kardashians event.

“Scott brought Rebecca to the premiere because he didn’t want to go alone. He stayed very lowkey and even introduced Kourtney to Rebecca. It was cordial and simple and done without cameras. Scott wants to move on, and he is trying everything in his power to do so, but his heart isn’t letting him,” they explained.

As for where Scott’s feelings are for Kourtney, a second insider tells us that he feels “stuck” and that he will “be involved” with the Poosh founder forever.  “Scott is almost in a holding pattern to where he knows what he wants to do and wants to move on, but he also is stuck because he is going to be involved with Kourtney forever… It really bugs him that he has to be a part of Kourtney’s new life and having to act like it is all OK. Scott is going to have new girlfriends, but he is never going to get over Kourtney and it really plays with his emotions because he can’t get away from it at all,” they spilled.

It’s a punk rock paradise. Avril Lavigne is engaged to Mod Son, so get to know about the punker-turned-rapper-turned-rocker who captured the ‘sk8r boy’ girl’s heart.

“The day we met, I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done,” wrote Mod Sun when sharing the news of his and Avril Lavigne‘s engagement. Mod, 35, revealed that he popped the question to Avril, 37, when they were in Paris. “I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said, ‘will you marry me?’ + she said ‘yes.’”

Mod and Avril have only been dating for a short period. They were first linked in February 2021, but as Mod said, as soon as they started dating, he knew she was the one. The rapper was previously involved with Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau, but it seems he was holding out for his punk rock princess.

Hailing from Bloomington, Montana, Mod Sun began his music career playing in the post-hardcore band The Semester as their drummer and mouthpiece. The band kicked him out after high school. “That f*cking killed me,” he told Nylon. “I had just gone through high school being like, ‘This is my life,’ and then graduated ready to pursue what was my life and then got literally ejected from my dreams, you dig? I went into this very dark state.”

That, obviously, wasn’t the end for him. Mod joined bands Four Letter Lie and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Mod paid tribute to his old bands in 2021. “The first tour I ever did as mod sun was me opening up for a band called ‘scary kids scaring kids’….I was basically getting booed the entire time I was on stage, but it taught me so much about being an entertainer + performer,” he wrote on Instagram. “I was playing to the wrong crowd, but I would give it my all + by the end of the set, I would sometimes win them over. I spent years finding my crowd, + now I look back on those moments, so absolutely grateful. It taught me to be fearless. It taught me to remove the bone of embarrassment from my body.”

Mod Sun (often stylized as MOD SUN) stands for something. “Mod Sun stands for ‘movement on dreams, stand under none.’ It is all based off of manifestation, the law of attraction,” he told Nylon. “When I found Bob Dylan, coincidentally, at the same time, I found The Secret, and those two things created me.”

Now that’s a fashion daredevil! The punk rocker wasn’t afraid to get a bit weird with his look for the magazine shoot.

Travis Barker, 46, was all attitude while boldly rocking a skirt for a new Billboard photoshoot, shared on Instagram on Thursday, Apr. 7. The androgynous look, which you can see here, made it clear the rocker father-of-two was still a rebel.

The Blink-182 drummer was edgy as ever while clad in a long, black Thom Browne skirt, which he teamed with tights, a black jacket, and a crisp, white, collared shirt. His classic loafers were vintage Dr. Martens x Raf Simons vintage shoes, and he tied the look together with Prada Sunglasses, and necklaces by Balenciaga and AD.iii.

Travis captioned the snap, “I say no a lot,” a reference to the accompanying interview. During the eye-opening chat, Travis opened up about his music and his love Kourtney Kardashian, 42. “We’re very similar, with our backs to the wall,” he says of the Poosh founder. “We have no quit, and I need someone like that in my life.”

Days after the wedding Kourtney admitted she and Travis actually wanted to make things official but weren’t able to get a marriage license during the middle of the night. She explained while appearing with her sisters on the Apr. 6 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“It’s not called fake marriage,” Kourtney said. “There was no possibility to get a marriage license at that hour,” she explained, noting she was surprised that they aren’t available “24 hours” in Nevada. “That’s what I thought [that you could get them anytime], I was like, are you guys lying? We asked five times and they were like, it opens at 8 am.”

Kourtney Kardashian intended to legally marry Travis Barker — but she explained to Jimmy Kimmel that they couldn’t obtain a license so late at night.

Kourtney Kardashian says she meant to legally marry Travis Barker in Las Vegas! The 42-year-old explained what happened during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel alongside family members Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian on April 6. Jimmy prompted, “You went ahead and got fake married?” referencing her surprise nuptials.

“It’s not called fake marriage. There was no possibility to get a marriage license at that hour,” she explained, noting she was surprised that they aren’t available “24 hours” in Nevada. “That’s what I thought [that you could get them anytime], I was like, are you guys lying? We asked five times and they were like, it opens at 8 am,” the Poosh founder explained. The couple got married at 2 a.m. — meaning they were six hours early.

Jimmy then asked, “You wanted to get married for real but you couldn’t?” as Kourt confirmed that’s exactly what happened. “Yes…what’s in the heart is in the heart,” she sweetly gushed. The news was entirely a surprise for the KarJenner clan: Kris and Khloe confirmed they knew, but everyone else — including Kim — found out via the family group chat. “I was sleeping…but I woke up to a million texts!” the SKIMS founder said. Kourt was also gifted a series of custom plates by Jimmy to celebrate the wedding, all including PDA-heavy photos of her and Travis. Mazel tov!

The new show, simply called The Kardashians, was previously described by the family as more “docu-series” style compared to E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “Before, on E!, it was totally us and totally amazing, but the episodes were so short,” Kim told Variety last month. “And the producers definitely knew what the E! audience wanted. And this feels a little bit more documentary-style,” she said, adding that there’s going to be more focus on things like their brands and her focus on prison-reform.

“My goal was that it was familiar and felt like home, like, ‘Oh, my God, they’re back.’ But updated or just a little bit more intimate,” Kim also said. Another major reason for the network move was to make sure the show was in real-time: during the 20 season run of KUWTK, the show was often catching up to headlines that happened in the media months earlier (a prime example includes the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods drama). “We wanted it to be as current as possible…we hated how long we had to wait. That was like the death of us, because once we got over something, we had to rehash it all over again,” Kim also said.

The Kardashians premieres on Hulu on April 14. The show is a two season deals with a planned forty episodes, so there’ll be plenty of to watch when it comes to the famous California-based family.

The Poosh founder looked effortlessly chic in an all-black ensemble days after her surprise Vegas wedding with Travis Barker.

Kourtney Kardashian looked like a blushing bride days after her surprise Las Vegas wedding with beau Travis Barker. The 42-year-old Poosh founder was snapped in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 6) for the first photos of the newlywed following the Elvis-presided nuptials. Rocking an all-black ensemble, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alum looked effortlessly chic.

Kourt’s corset blazer was the talk of the town as it featured a cinched waistline with ornate embroidery. The matching black pants held a flare bottom, giving a bit of whimsy to the otherwise classic silhouette. Her trademark raven tresses were left long and loose with a part down the middle. Kourt dared to impress by going virtually makeup free, allowing her natural beauty to take center stage.

Earlier in the day, the eldest of the Kardashian siblings shared sweet snaps from the surprise wedding. The newlyweds are seen in the Vegas chapel rocking black leather motorcycle jackets and sunglasses as they pack on the PDA in front of the Elvis impersonator. “Found these in my camera roll,” she captioned the adorable photo album. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license),” she added. “Practice makes perfect.” The “no license” line appears to suggest the couple are not legally married!

The (perhaps not legal) wedding happened when the mother of three married the Blink-182 drummer on Monday, April 4 around 130 AM in Las Vegas, according to TMZ. The event took place following Travis’ performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (April 3). The couple brought their own photographer and security inside the venue, per the outlet. They even insisted on an Elvis Presley impersonator officiating the wedding!

While the Vegas wedding may not be recognized as a legal union, practicing the big day is always a plus, even though Travis is an old pro at it.  He wed Melissa Kennedy for nine months in 2002, and then went on to be married to Shanna Moakler from 2004 until 2008. Kourt, however, has never walked down the aisle. Although she shares her three children — Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7 — with ex Scott Disick, the co-parents never married.

‘Kravis’ is reportedly sorting out the finances of their marriage following their post-Grammys Las Vegas wedding.

Kourtney Kardashian, 42, and Travis Barker, 46, got married in Las Vegas before signing a prenuptial agreement, according to TMZ. However, the power couple reportedly plans to finalize a postnuptial agreement following their April 4 wedding. Kourtney is worth around $65 million, according to TMZ, while Travis is reportedly worth around $50 million. In other words, there’s a lot of money/assets they need to sort out when creating the postnup, which is expected to “be handled without issue,” per TMZ.

“Kravis” tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel in the wee hours of April 4, after the Blink-182 drummer performed at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Travis and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum said “I do” in a ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator. They presented their marriage license to the chapel’s owner and brought their own photographer and security inside the venue.

Fans were not expecting the couple to get married so quick following their Oct. 17 engagement. After less than a year of dating, Travis proposed to Kourtney on the beach in Montecito, California, in the middle of a gorgeous floral arrangement. Kourtney shared photos from the magical evening to her Instagram, writing “forever” in the caption. She also later showed off her stunning oval-shaped diamond ring.

During the 2022 Grammys, the ceremony took a moment to pay tribute to Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters in a moment that celebrated the life and legacy of rock’s ‘hero’ drummer.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards took place in the long, cold shadow of tragedy. As music’s best and brightest gathered for the Apr. 4 event, one person missing was Taylor Hawkins, the beloved drummer for the Foo Fighters who passed away at the age of 50 on March 26. Though Taylor was gone, he was far from forgotten. Along with Billie Eilish giving love to Taylor during her Grammys performance, the ceremony dedicated a moment to Taylor before the In Memoriam segment.

During the non-televised portion of the Grammys, the Foo Fighters won three awards: they took home Best Rock Performance for “Making A Fire,” Best Rock Song for “Waiting on a War,” and Best Rock Album for Medicine at Midnight.

The world learned of Taylor’s passing via a statement that the band put out on social media. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,” the statement read. “Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”

Foo Fighters were scheduled to headline the Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia, followed by a headlining slot at Lollapalooza Brasil on Sunday. The performance was canceled just as fans were gathering. “We were getting into position when they announced that the Foo Fighters would not be performing,” Romeo Reyes, a concertgoer, told CNN, “but they didn’t say why. About 10 minutes later, the news broke that Taylor had died.”

The cause of Taylor’s death wasn’t made known, but Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office released a preliminary “forensic medical study” on Sunday (Mar. 27), per CNN. The report said a urine toxicology test was carried out and ten substances were found, including THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids. The investigation is still ongoing. What is known is that Taylor, in his short time on this earth, touched countless of lives with his music and larger-than-life personality.

Taylor’s death sent ripples of grief throughout the music world. Miley Cyrus, the other headliner at Lollapalooza Brasil, dedicated her performance of “Angels Like You” to Taylor. During her set, she spoke about how her plane had to make an emergency landing after it was struck by lighting. “The first person that I called was Taylor, because he was already at the festival,” she said, as she held back tears. “That would’ve been a time that I would’ve gone to see my friend, and I didn’t, so it makes me really sad.  I would’ve done anything to hang out with him one more time.”

Artists Ozzy Osbourne to Tom Morello to Questlove to Finneas all mourned the tragic loss of a brilliant musician and beloved friend. Travis Barker, who was enlisted to play as part of the Academy Awards All-Star Band, wrote that he didn’t “have the words” upon hearing the news of his friend’s death. “I’ll never forget Laguna Beach days when I was a trash man playing in a punk rock band and you were playing with Alanis [Morissette.] You’d come watch me play in dive bars and be like, ‘kid you’re a star.’ And I thought you were crazy but you gave me so much hope and determination…. To say I’ll miss you my friend isn’t enough. Till the next time we talk drums and smoke in the boys room … Rest In Peace.”

“Not only was he a GREAT drummer but his personality was big and shiny and will be sorely missed by all who were lucky to live and work alongside him,” wrote Sir Paul McCartney in his tribute to his friend. “So thanks Taylor for sharing some glorious minutes with me. You were a true Rock and Roll hero and will always remain in my heart.”

In the weeks following Hawkins’ death, the world reflected on just the scope of what it had lost. “Taylor Hawkins understood the mechanics and history of the [rock] genre and his place in it but also — and this is every bit as crucial — how to never let it go to his head,” wrote Craig Jenkins for Vulture. Kerrang’s obituary celebrated him as a “wild light blinding bright,” a “true one-of-a-kind” soul. When the Red Hot Chili Peppers were presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, drummer Chad Smith – who shared a tribute video to Taylor – honored his beloved friend. “I have to give a shout out to my brother Taylor Hawkins, who I love and we will all miss so much,” he said, per the Independent. “He would laugh and make a nice smart a– comment about this whole thing, and I love him.”

In the video, posted to Scott’s Instagram story, Pete appears to be leaving Scott’s house, rocking a trademark casual t-shirt, overshirt, and backward hat. Waving to Scott as he prepares to head out and drive away, one thing hilariously stands out: Pete’s choice of vehicle, a tiny luxury Range Rover type vehicle with no doors. As Scott calls to Pete “Thanks for the pizza,” Pete, right in on the joke, replies “Hey, anytime man, have a great night.” Scott captioned the video “Gotta love post mates.” Whether Pete actually brought Scott a slice or not, the hilarity that ensued when the two men imagined if Pete really utilized the pink car for Postmates deliveries was just too good.

Ever since Pete and Kim first kicked their romance off in 2021, Pete and Scott have found each other closer and closer together, especially given Scott & Kourtney’s continued co-parenting of kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick. Though Pete and Travis have been friends for years, Pete has still managed to find common ground with Scott, and clearly ultimately charm him. Though he may have lost his life far too soon, it’s clear Taylor Hawkins, his music and his spirit will be remembered far into the next generation. And some of the first to prove that? ‘Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl, 53, whose daughters Violet, 15, and Harper, 12, showed their solemn care for the late drummer by donning black dresses to a recent pre-GRAMMY event. Alongside mom Jordyn, the trio chose all-black attire out of respect to the drummer’s still-recent death, just hours before he was supposed to go on stage with his band for a performance in Bógota, Colombia. Strutting their stuff as a family at a pre-GRAMMY party in Las Vegas, brunette beauties Violet and Harper looked gorgeous and grown-up alongside their equally stunning mom. Though the trio was coordinated by color in a clear tribute, they each chose a slightly divergent black look. For her part, Harper chose an adorable ankle-length, collared t-shirt dress paired with Mary Janes and dainty white socks, while Violet rocked a floor-length silk gown in the same silhouette, with floral embellishments and a feathered hem. Finally, matriarch Jordyn shone in a black gown with a halter neckline and three cutouts at the bodice, topping the whole look off with standout alligator-print heeled booties.

Tragedy struck Dave, his family, his band, and the entire music industry back on Mar. 25, when Taylor was found unresponsive in his hotel room ahead of a scheduled show at the Festival Estereo Picnic in Bógota, Colombia, Just 50 years old, Taylor had joined the ‘Foo Fighters’ as their drummer back in 1999, and was scheduled to perform alongside the rock group at the GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Apr. 3. The band has since canceled all of their upcoming tour dates as they navigate the grieving process, and rumor has it that the GRAMMY committee has a tribute for the late artist in the works.

Understandably excited to have a celebrity visit, Monty’s Good Burger shouted out Kourtney and Travis in their caption as well, revealing that “Trav” and “Kourt” enjoyed their Oat Milk Matcha Latte shake (available across their multiple locations). “Couples that drink matcha together, stay together,” they jokingly wrote, showing their support for Kourtney and Travis’ sweet relationship. Travis himself couldn’t help but return the shoutout with excitement in the comments, writing: “Matcha milkshakes for everybody.”

Following the untimely and ‘staggering loss’ of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters announced they will cancel all their upcoming tour dates while they ‘grieve, heal’ and ‘appreciate the memories.’

Less than a week after Taylor Hawkins passed away unexpectedly while touring with Foo Fighters in Colombia, the band announced they were putting a hold on performing. “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in the light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” the band said in a statement posted on social media. “We’re sorry for and share the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With love, Foo Fighters.”

The statement comes ahead of the 64th Grammy Awards. The band – Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Chris Shifflett, Nate Mendel, and Rami Jaffee – was announced as one of the performers at the Apr. 3 event. The group is also nominated for Best Rock Performance (“Making a Fire”), Best Rock Song (“Waiting on a War”), and Best Rock Album (Medicine at Midnight).

Taylor Hawkins died on Mar. 25. The band announced the “tragic and untimely loss” right before they were supposed to perform at the Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia. The band’s statement celebrated Taylor’s “musical spirit and infectious laughter” and that his impact “will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”

In the days following his death, Bogotá’s secretary of health issued a statement that said emergency responders received a report about a patient with chest pains at a hotel north of the city. An ambulance was sent to the scene, and a private health provider was already issuing treatment, but efforts to resuscitate Hawkins were successful, per CNN.

Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office released a preliminary “forensic medical study” on Saturday, per CNN. The AG’s office claimed that a urine toxicology test found ten substances inside Taylor, including THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids. However, this did not pinpoint the exact cause of death, and the investigation is still ongoing.

Taylor’s death sent shockwaves of grief throughout the music world. Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee claimed he spoke to Taylor “a few hours” before his death. “I wish this was some shitty dream or a bad prank that we would both laugh about,” the metal drummer wrote. Though Tommy commented that “typing words has never been so difficult,” he did write out how much he loved Taylor. The sentiment was shared by the likes of Ozzy Osborne, Travis Barker, and Miley Cyrus.

Now that’s a combo! Reba McEntire had quite the backing band while taking the stage at the 94th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, Mar. 27, 2022. The Queen Of Country was joined by punk rock drummer and Kardashian-fiance Travis Barker for an emotional performance of the song “Somehow You Do” from the movie Four Good Days. Reba’s soaring performance earned her a standing ovation from the audience.

Travis wasn’t the only talent on stage with Reba. Also joining the Oklahoma gal were Oscars music director Adam Blackstone, percussionist and singer Sheila E., and pianist Robert Glasper. “Somehow You Do”, written by 6-time Oscar nominee Diane Warren, was up for Best Original Song. The track is featured in the Glenn Close and Mila Kunis film Four Good Days, which is about the relationship between a young addict who is living with her mother after leaving a detox clinic.

The “Sassy” singer was part of a small slate of artists who performed at the 2022 Oscars. Beyonce gave a stirring performance of “Be Alive” from King Richard from a Compton, Calif. tennis court. Tommy Lee shared a heartfelt response to friend and fellow drummer Taylor Hawkins’ death, sharing that words are “difficult” at this time.

Losing a friend is never easy, and clearly, for drummer Tommy Lee, 59, the unexpected shock of losing friend Taylor Hawkins at just 50 has been overwhelming. Taking to his Instagram to open up about the loss, Tommy wrote out an in-depth post discussing how he spoke with Taylor just shortly before his death, sharing: “I wish this was some s***y dream.”

News broke that Taylor, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, had passed away on Saturday, Mar. 26, after the performer was found unresponsive in his Bógota, Colombia hotel room ahead of a performance. Since the tragic news, music stars across the entertainment world from Travis Barker to Miley Cyrus to Anthony Anderson have paid their respects in some way, with Miley even breaking down in tears as she performed ‘Angels Like You’ in his name the night after his death.

Tommy Lee, who iconically played drums with the band Mötley Crüe and is well known for a turbulent marriage to Pamela Anderson recently chronicled on Hulu’s ‘Pam and Tommy,‘ shared the industry with Taylor for years, and shared in his post he was one of the last people to speak with the late musician before it was too late. “Dude I just talked with you a few hours ago from your hotel room in Columbia before your concert,” Tommy mourned in the solemn post. “I wish this was a s****y dream or a bad prank that we would both laugh about, But it’s not! You KNOW how I feel about you and how much I love you and we both know there’s no need to type it all out.”

Ultimately, Tommy left his friend Taylor with a message of love, and to “rest in beats.” Before the tragic news, the Foo Fighters had had a full tour schedule ahead of them, including a slated performance at the Grammy’s on Apr. 3.  But as the distraught band recovers from such an untimely loss, how that performance will continue forward is unclear. However, from Tommy to his bandmates themselves, clearly, the music world is rallying behind Taylor’s legacy, and honoring him in every way they can.

The 2022 Academy Awards will have something a little different for this year’s telecast: an all-star band to underline the show, featuring pianist Robert Glasper, headline-making drummer Travis Barker, legendary lead singer Sheila E., and music director Adam Blackstone.

Here we break down five things to know about Blackstone, an all-star bassist and longtime music director and producer who is joining the Oscars production team to make the night one to remember.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey on December 4, 1982, Blackstone was surrounded by a family of musicians, as he began playing drums in the church while his father was the organist and his mother sang in the choir. Although he originally had his sights set on being a drummer, he made the switch to bass in 3rd grade and went on to join his high school’s jazz band. After earning a scholarship to the University of Arts in Philadelphia, he became heavily involved in the soul music scene in the area, going on to be a full time session musician and travelling the world.

Adam then caught the ear of drummer and producer Questlove of The Roots and moved on to producing and working on shows. His first big gig was Jay-Z‘s Fade to Black show at Madison Square Garden in 2003 as well as Dave Chappelle’s Block Party in 2005, which ultimately put him on the map to work with more A-list artists.

Adam has received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his work as musical direction on two Super Bowl halftime shows: the 2018 show starring Timberlake and the 2020 show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

Adam was also granted a Grammy nomination for co-writing Musiq Blackstone‘s “Teachme,” a 2007 nominee for Best Rap Song.

Sources close to the Kardashians revealed that Kourtney is happy to see her fiancé and the father of her children getting along well!

Sometimes it’s best to just put differences aside! Kourtney Kardashian, 42, has been happy to see her fiancé Travis Barker, 46, and ex Scott Disick, 38, develop a friendship after some rocky introductions. The two even were both seen attending Scott’s son Reign’s baseball game. Sources close to the Kardashians revealed to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that the Poosh founder has been glad to see the two men “get along” and form a relationship “for the sake of the kids.”

One source admitted that even though there’s been some drama, her ex and fiancé having a cordial relationship is all she “ever wanted” for her family. “She really tries to disassociate herself from the drama and avoid as much as she can whenever possible. But Kourtney and Scott have come a long way from where they were when she and Travis first got engaged. Plus, this isn’t the first time Scott and Travis have hung out,” the source said.

Kourtney knows that Scott sees Travis isn’t going anywhere, and that he only wants the best for Kourtney and the kids. Kourtney has always hoped for a good relationship between Travis and Scott so she’s thankful to see that Scott can put his differences aside for the sake of the kids,” they said.

The boys are alright! Over the weekend, Scott Disick, Travis Barker, and Pete Davidson all gathered for Scott and ex Kourtney Kardashian‘s son Reign‘s baseball game and it was definitely the most adorable thing we’ve seen. In photos you can see here allegedly obtained by gossip account deuxmoi, all three men were present for the outing, although it’s not exactly clear if Scott and Travis were sitting together/properly hanging out.

For the event, Travis wore a black “Dream Big Die Young” tee with black jeans while Scott opted for a red, blue, and green-colored track suit. Pete kept it casual as well with a plaid flannel button down over a white t-shirt and dark pants. The outing came after Pete documented a “boyz night” with Scott and other friends, capturing the “wild” occasion on his phone where everyone but Pete hilariously fell asleep watching movies. Looks like the guys are getting close as Pete and Kim Kardashian‘s romance gets hotter than ever!

In addition to performances of Oscar-nominated songs, the 2022 Academy Awards will have another musical treat underlining the telecast: an all-star band featuring pianist Robert Glasper along with headline-making drummer Travis Barker, legendary lead singer Sheila E., and musical director Adam Blackstone. You may know Travis from Blink-182 fame and Sheila E. is best known from her work with Prince, but we’re here to break down five things about a Robert, a supremely talented musician set to add his bit of spice to the show.

He’s A Jazz Pianist, Songwriter, And Musical Arranger

Born April 6, 1978 in Houston, Texas, Robert was influenced by his mother, Kim Yvette Glasper who was a professional jazz and blues singer. In addition to going with his mom to numerous club performances, he was also raised in the church and performed there often. After attending Houston’s High School for the Performing Arts, his playing career really took off while he was studying at the New School in New York City. Robert has noted how renowned trumpet player Miles Davis influenced and inspired his music, formulating his style in his career. “I’m obviously influenced by Miles Davis – even just the psyche of how he thinks about music…how he moves through, and always wanted to reflect the times he’s in,” Robert told The New York Times in 2016. “That’s what I’m doing now. He opened that door.”

In 2005, Robert released his debut on Blue Note Records, Canvas, which featured nine original compositions and a cover of Herbie Hancock‘s “Riot.” Blue Note, owned by Universal Music Group and operated under Capitol Music Group was founded by Alfred Lion and Max Margulis in 1939 and became one of the most influential and prolific jazz labels of the 20th century. With artists like Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, and Dexter Gordon having recorded for the label, Robert is definitely in good company!

It’s no surprise an institution like the Academy is interested in an artist like Robert, considering his numerous notable accomplishments. The pianist has been nominated for five Grammys and has won four from 2010-2021, throughout the Best Urban/Alternative Performance, Best R&B Album, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, Best Progressive R&B Album, and Best R&B Song categories.

He’s Worked With Numerous High Profile Artists

The amount of notable, singular artists with whom Robert has worked is pretty incredible. In addition to his involvement in the neo-soul/hip hop movement of the late ’90s/early ’00s, Robert went on to collaborate with a slew of other artists, including but not limited to Lupe Fiasco, Erykah Badu, Bilal, Questlove, Solange, Common, Norah Jones, and more, who all appeared as guest vocalists on his Black Radio (2012) and Black Radio 2 (2013). In 2015 he collaborated with Lauryn Hill on Nina Revisited…A Tribute to Nina Simone ahead of the documentary on Nina Simone, What Happened, Miss Simone? 

More work with film came in 2016 when Robert worked as producer, composer, and arranger for the Don Cheadle-lead Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead. He also released Everything is Beautiful which served as a tribute to the famous jazz musician via remixes and interpretations of his original works. The album saw Robert again working with Erykah Badu as well as Stevie Wonder, among others.

Robert was also prominently featured on Kendrick Lamar‘s Grammy-winning 2016 album To Pimp a Butterfly and formed supergroups August Greene with Common, and Karreim Riggins, as well as Dinner Party with Kamasi Washington, 9th Wonder, and Terrace Martin.

In Feb. 2022, Robert released the third installment of his Black Radio series, Black Radio III, which featured artists like Jennifer Hudson, H.E.R., Killer Mike, and more.

Scott and Mason have been having some quality father-son time as of late, as Scott recently took to the Miami beach with all three of his kids, which included Mason, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian, 42. The 38-year-old went casual cool in a black t-shirt and light blue swim trunks, also sporting sunglasses to keep the Miami rays at bay. Penelope still rocked her adorable Little Mermaid-esque red locks and a pink-and-orange one piece while Reign wore green-and-white-striped swim trunks. Mason helped dad with the little ones in the same Rolling Stones tie dye long-sleeve shirt he wore to the movies, but paired the top with black pants.

Kourtney Kardashian, 42, and fiance Travis Barker, 46, seem to enjoy pranking each other and — judging by Kourtney’s “weekend” roundup Instagram share — she’s had the last laugh! On Monday, March 7, the Poosh founder shared a series of snaps with her 163 million followers. The first photo in the series shows Travis’s immaculate lawn covered in toilet paper that spelled out the words “Got You.”

On Thursday, March 3, Scott and Holly, who he has been seen with on two separate dates in L.A. recently, were photographed being very hands-on with each other at a Boum Boum nightclub in Paris, France. However, just one week prior, The Lord was spotted out on another date with singer Pia Mia, 25. in L.A. But don’t expect him to settle down anytime soon, as a source close to Scott told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that he “is not looking for anything serious” with either of them – these women are simply “beautiful distractions” to take his mind off of the upcoming wedding between Kourtney Kardashian, 42, and Travis Barker, 46!

“Scott doesn’t know what he wants right now. There is a connection with Holly, and she is quite easy to be around, but Scott likes being around any woman right now that can help him take his mind of Kourtney and Travis,” the source told us. “The same thing goes for anyone else Scott is seen on dates with, including Pia Mia.” HollywoodLife spoke to another one of Scott’s pals, who insisted that “Scott isn’t looking to settle down right now. Before that, Scott was in a serious relationship with Sofia Richie, 23, for three years, which ended in July 2020. Towards the end of Scott and Amelia’s relationship, Kourtney – who is the mother to Scott’s three kids, Mason Disick 12, Penelope Disick, 9, and Reign Disick, 7 – started getting very serious with Travis, and the two became engaged in October 2021. After Kourtney’s engagement, Scott went out on dates with several beautiful women, but nothing materialized from these dates. According to the source, “Scott has not been in the best place since Kourtney and Travis got engaged and his friends are concerned. Scott Disick was spotted out and about again with 23-year-old model Holly Scarfone. Could things be getting serious between the pair?

Scott Disick, 38, stepped out on Wednesday night with his new flame, 23-year-old Too Hot to Handle star Holly Scarfone, as things between the pair seem to be possibly heating up. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the much younger model were seen heading into the Boum Boum night club in Paris as Holly wore a long black dress with thin beige straps, pairing the look with matching color strappy heels. Scott, for his part, sported a dark olive bomber jacket with a dark brown fur collar, wearing all black to go with it.

Holly is one of the many singles who joined the popular Netflix dating show for season 3 and was linked to fellow contestant Nathan Sloan. She was born in Canada, but lives in the U.S. and graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Colorado. Holly’s also garnered a pretty impressive Instagram following, also working as a model and influencer on the platform and looking … well … a lot like a certain other famous reality star whom Scott knows very well.

Travis is so often getting inked, he’s already developed a healthy roster of tattoos dedicated to fiancee Kourtney Kardashian. Since the couple first heated up in early 2021, Travis has received multiple tattoos linked, or directly tied to Kourtney. In March 2021, Travis posted a video to Instagram stories of himself tattooing the phrase “you’re so cool!” in loopy, casual handwriting on his thigh. Though many fans speculated that the tattoo is done in Kourtney’s handwriting, it ultimately was revealed to be a reference to the classic film True Romance. But Travis and Kourtney would wink at their own classic love story soon enough, dressing up as the main characters from the film for Halloween in 2021.

Travis has also shouted Kourt out even more directly, getting her name tattooed in script on his chest and even allowing her to tattoo “I love you” herself on his forearm. Though Kourtney herself doesn’t share Travis’ ink collection, the Poosh founder recently shared a photo of her trying his style on for size. In the pic, Kourtney rocked multiple temporary chest tattoos as she and Travis posed together.

Beyond inscribing new ink, Travis has also shown off his dedication to Kourtney by covering up old tattoos…namely, ones dedicated to his former flames. Travis recently covered up a blue heart tattoo of ex-wife Shanna Moakler‘s name with a large, filled-in scorpion tattoo for his Scorpio zodiac sign. Travis has called his right arm his “lucky” arm, due to the tattoos of his lucky number, 7, a pair of dice, a drumset, and a pair of drumsticks. On the left side of his body, Travis also has his initials, TLB, a lucky rabbit’s foot, and a tattoo of the devil logo from Black Label Skateboards, one of his favorite brands. Adding to the luck, tragically, is a reminder of someone Travis lost; he tattooed the name of deceased tattooist Trigz Rip on his forearm to honor him.

Though Travis has multiple tattoos dedicated to his late mother Gloria on his body, including her name under his chin and her image on his back, he also has a prominent tattoo honoring his late mother on his right arm as well. Gloria died from cancer when Travis was just 13, and he’s long credited her as one of his first inspirations when it came to wanting to become a rock drummer.

As for his left arm? Maybe this one has worse luck. Though Travis Travis got this tat with fellow artist Machine Gun Kelly to celebrate MGK’s upcoming album ‘born with horns’… only for the artist to ultimately change the album name to ‘Mainstream Sellout’ six months later. His left arm is also the location of the scorpion cover-up he did to remove Shanna’s name.

However, Travis has also made his arm an homage to other parts of his life besides music, including tattooing the logo of his vegan restaurant Crossroads Kitchen on his forearm. Travis also grew up religious, and has multiple crosses and images of Jesus on his body including the phrase “Inri” which references Jezus of Nazareth.

In a recent session with tattoo artist Chuey Quintanar that was live-streamed on Instagram, Travis added the phrases “FWT” and “LLJ” onto his arm. Though it’s still unclear what “FWT” stands for, Chuey shared that “LLJ” stands for “Long Live Jahseh,” a reference to the late rapper XXXTentacion.

The story behind Travis’ leg tattoos is one of tragedy, loss, and, ultimately, perseverance. Travis received many of his first tattoos, including the logo of the hardcore bands Descendents and Dag Nasty and a rumored razor-blade etching of his first girlfriend Toni’s name. But the memories of his youth Travis tattooed on his legs were all lost after the drummer was involved in a 2008 plane crash, where he received third-degree burns on 65% of his body. It took 16 separate surgeries to reconstruct the skin on his legs, during which Travis lost all the tattoos he had developed over the years.

Thirteen years after his narrow survival, however, Travis has returned to tattooing his legs and is currently rebuilding the art he lost. He has re-tattooed the Descendents logo that once meant so much to him, and also shared a video of consistent favorite tattoo artist Chuey Quintanar tattooing a detailed skull onto his knee.

Since he’s begun the reconstruction process, Travis has also added a spider web by Chuey on his other knee and two adorable tattoos on his thigh he let kids Landon and Alabama design themselves; Landon chose to write the initials “L” and “A” by a cross, while Alabama tattooed a little heart with an A inside it.

Though Travis has rocked many hairstyles from a mohawk to shag, these days a shaved head suits him best; that way, he can show off the many tattoos on his head. He has a detailed tattoo of the Virgin Mary on the top of his scalp, as well as script reading “Family Loyalty Respect” directly below, and “Family First” tattooed nearby. He also has “One Life, One Chance” on the back of his scalp, and a rose tattooed by his ear that covers up the name of his first ex-wife Melissa Kennedy, who Travis divorced in 2002.

If one thing is prominent on Travis Barker’s chest, it’s his love for Cadillacs. From the classic emblem itself to a portrait of a ’53 model to a huge “Cadillac” written along his side Travis said took 12 hours to complete, his obsession with the car manufacturer is evident all over his body. Travis’ most prominent neck tattoo, reading “Can I Say,” has a double meaning. The phrase is both the name of his 2015 autobiography and the title of an album by hardcore band Dag Nasty Travis has said was influential to his youth, and pursuit of becoming a drummer. Also on his neck, Travis has a portrait of Marilyn Monroe, a racing flag, and the phrase “Live Fast Die Young” surrounded by a colorful banner. Recently, Travis added the phrase “Don’t trust anyone” to his throat as well. We don’t know exactly who Travis doesn’t trust, but putting it in ink, he must be sure about it.

Travis’ Hand Tattoos 

Travis’ hand tattoos speak profoundly to his mottos of hard work and family first. On his thumb, he has the phrase “120%” tattooed, as well as “Self Made” and “Dues Paid” written across his knuckles. Though at one point he also had a hand tattoo dedicated to wife Shanna, tattoo artist Scott Campbell gave him a recent cover-up of a skull with tulips for crossbones, not the first skull OR tulip to grace Travis’ body or even his arm. Finally, on his wrists, Travis has the names of kids Landon and Alabama inscribed in black ink. Finally, in a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Travis has “I Did It My Way” tattooed on his pinkies.

Though they’re likely to upset the most critic, Travis actually has the fewest of his tattoos on his face; he only has three. By his right eye, he has the phrase “Blessed” and a small black star inked, and by his left eye he has a small anchor. Travis’ back is dedicated almost entirely to his family, with most of the space being taken up by large-scale portraits of his mother, father, and two children. Between the sweet portraits of Landon and Alabama is a detailed image of Jesus Christ, that appears to be looking over at little Alabama. Travis told Vice the entire back tribute took over four to five sessions of 10 hours each, with two tattoo artists working on him at once. But before he even began the enormous back piece, Travis got his first large back tattoo, an enormous inscription of one word along his lower back: “Hope.”

Travis Barker, 46, and Kourtney Kardashian, 42, recently paid tribute to their sweet relationship for all to see. The Blink-182 band member took to Twitter to give his sweetheart a shoutout. “Find something beautiful and fight like hell for it,” he tweeted. His message didn’t go unnoticed, especially to Kourt. The lovebirds got engaged in October with a romantic beach proposal. Travis popped the question as they were surrounded by candles and red rose petals in the shape of a heart. In a contender for ‘Messiest Breakup Of The Year,’ Matthew Rondeau went on Instagram to drop a lot of F-bombs – and some cheating allegations – while saying ‘it’s over’ between him and Shanna Moakler.

Matthew Rondeau didn’t so much as break up with Shanna Moakler on Thursday (Feb. 24) as he blew up their relationship with a ton of TNT. “So, it’s over,” Matthew, 29, said in a now-deleted Instagram video posted to Makler’s page. “I am never talking to this f-cking specimen of a f-cking human again,” he said in the video, per Page Six. The actor implied that Travis Barker‘s ex was “talking to” other people the “entire time” that she and him were together, before walking over to a neighbor’s house to hurl some major allegations.

While shouting at the house and into his phone, Matthew accused Shanna of spending the night with an unnamed neighbor, one who “has a f-cking wife” and “f-cking kids…and f-cking sleeps here. Sleeps HERE with this f-cking b-tch. She f-cking SLEEPS here, at his f-cking house.” From there, Matthew goes off and calls Shanna some pretty obscene things. “Quote me on it. You’re never going to see me with this f-cking —- again. I don’t give a f-ck.”

The beach trip with the kids comes after it was revealed Kourtney had a “change of heart” for inviting her ex to her wedding to fiancé Travis Barker. “When she first got engaged, she had no plans on inviting Scott to the wedding. ‘KUWTK’ may be over, but the KarJenner family’s journey on TV isn’t. The first trailer for the family’s new show ‘The Kardashians’ dropped on February 22.

The KarJenners are bringing us back inside their lives in the new Hulu series The Kardashians. In the first trailer, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian get engaged. The entire family is there to watch this romantic moment go down. Kris Jenner even bursts into tears. “This makes me so happy,” she cries.

After 20 epic and drama-filled seasons, Keeping Up With the Kardashians came to an end in June 2021. Thankfully, we already knew we’d be getting new KarJenner content, this time on Hulu. The KarJenners struck a deal to “create global content” that will be streamed exclusively on Hulu after kickstarting their reality careers on E!

The latest teaser for The Kardashians dropped on February 7 and revealed the show would premiere on April 14. The sisters are all in glass boxes until Kendall shatters the glass by tapping her finger. “All the walls will be shattered,” the tagline read.

The first teaser trailer for the show was released on New Year’s Eve. The teaser showcased Kim, Kylie, Kylie, Kourtney, Kendall, Khloe, and Kris. “New year, new show, new beginnings. are you ready to get closer than ever before?” the caption read on the show’s Instagram page.

Shortly before the official trailer dropped, Hulu released gorgeous photos of the 6 KarJenner women. Kylie’s baby bump was on full display in her new promo photo. The family has stressed that this new show won’t exactly be like KUWTK.

“This is the next chapter,” Kris said at Disney Upfronts, according to People. “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family. Fans want us to be who we are, and since moment one, they’ve been emotionally invested in our show, just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming, but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.”
