‘On My Block’s Jessica Marie Garcia spoke EXCLUSIVELY with HL about why Ruby and Jasmine should end up together, the sweet prom moment that got cut, and the show’s impact on her life.

Jasmine Flores is an icon. There’s no doubt about that. Jessica Marie Garcia brought her A-game once again as the beloved character in On My Block’s fourth and final season, which is available on Netflix now.

HollywoodLife spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Jessica about why she thinks Ruby and Jasmine are endgame. However, she hopes that they go through a “break” before coming back to one another. She also revealed her reaction to Ruby’s adorable prom-posal and a line that got cut from the final episode. Plus, she reflected on the legacy of the show. Read our Q&A below:

Jessica Maria Garcia as Jasmine. (Netflix)

Ruby and Jasmine went through quite the roller coaster in the final season, but by the end, they were back together. Do you think they’re endgame?
Jessica Marie Garcia: I hope so. I think that they’re probably the only two in the world that will understand each other and be able to handle each other. But I think that it would be great if there was like some kind of break between them to explore other people because I do very much think that they’ve been there one and only in their lives, and I would love for them to get a little bit more experience and really appreciate who each other were for one another. But I do think they’re endgame, absolutely. I can picture their wedding. I can picture their children. I think that they are such a sweet, funny couple that is probably like a mess at the same time, but I think they fit perfectly together.

Jasmine got into Berkeley, but she had to stay in Freeridge and take care of her dad. Where do you think she ended up?
Jessica Marie Garcia: I think she went to community college because I feel like it was too late in the school year to really go for any other schools. So I picture her going to a community college because I feel like she can excel anywhere she goes, and I really feel like she found that in herself. But the realism of her having to stay with her father just hit me so close to home because I was taking care of my grandmother with dementia for a good part of my childhood and coming out to California, so I understood the sacrifices that you have to make for your family. That really hit me but also I just am so proud of her. She had to grow up really quickly, and the thing that I love about her and I just think our community, in general, is that we don’t abandon our family. We don’t just put them in a home and say, “Peace out, dad. I’m going to go live my life.” She takes it upon herself to be like, okay, I love my dad, and I’m the best person to take care of my dad. So hopefully she’s able to find some kind of caregiver that can come to the house, so she’s still able to go for her dreams. That’s what I’m hoping for with her, but it was tough. It was really tough during those scenes because it felt like such a question mark. Like, where does she go from here?

Where do you think she ended up career-wise?
Jessica Marie Garcia: It’s funny because I always think of her as the Latino Wendy Williams. I can see her having her own show or being an investigative reporter, something that’s not police-related. As much as we were doing all of that exploring, I want to take her out of that. I think she could do so much. She has such a great, infectious personality that I’m just hoping that she finds you know what it is that she wants to do and really goes for it.

The final season featured two heartbreaking deaths: Oscar and Abuelita. Which death hit you the hardest?
Jessica Marie Garcia: I felt Oscar coming. I think a lot of our audience did, too. It didn’t stop it from being incredibly painful, especially because it happened so quickly. Abuelita kills me. I was looking at the writers and I was like, “Really? We had to do this? This was necessary? Let’s just kill everyone off? What are we doing?” She’s the heart of our show, especially the relationship with Jamal and Abuelita. That is just friendship goals. That was really heart-wrenching. I hated that part of it. Again, with the realism, I get it. But it’s just that one hit me the most probably.

Jessica Maria Garcia in the final episode of ‘On My Block.’ (Netflix)

Ruby’s initial prom-posal was everything. And then Jasmine said no. What was it like filming that hilarious (and also heartbreaking scene)?
Jessica Marie Garcia: First of all, I never got to see the video until the show came out, so the whole time I’m just looking at a black screen just reacting to them just saying the words of what he’s saying. I never got to see anything. Getting to see it put together with all the pictures I was like, “Oh my god.” It broke my heart. I was really mad that she said no. I get it. She was just not in the mental place to really be a good date for him, so I understood why she said no but in front of the class? The Jessica in me was like, “What?” But I understood why they went that way, and I felt like she needed to earn a little bit of Ruby’s affection after she bulldozered him for some of the season.

Was there a particular scene of Jasmine’s that just really touched you? I think the moment when Ruby’s crowned prom king, and he asks Jasmine to dance with her… I felt that in my soul.
Jessica Marie Garcia: I felt like Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles vibes. That was Jasmine’s moment. It’s funny because we went through a few different dresses of what I was going to wear. I wanted that pink dress from the get, and they were like, “Just know, it’s really heavy. You’re going to have to be in this for like 4 days and wear it for like 12 to 14 hours.” I’m like, “It’s this dress. It’s this dress.” We had short ones and I was like “No, it needs to be a moment.” It’s funny because there’s a line that got cut out that I loved, and it’s when he gets crowned. He looks at the actual winner and goes to her and was like, “You may be the school’s beautiful princess, but you’re not mine.” And then he says, “Jasmine, will you dance with me” And I was like, “Why did you cut that out?” I loved it so much. I was rooting for Jasmine so much in that moment, especially all the fans of Jasmine who feel like that was their high school experience. I was really, really hoping that everyone saw themselves in that.

I’ve always felt like On My Block was underrated. I think that this show has done so much when it comes to the representation of Black and Brown communities on TV. What has that been like for you to be a part of this and to build something that resonates with so many people?
Jessica Marie Garcia: I mean, it’s changed my life. The show has single-handedly changed my life forever. And I owe it so much. I’m just so grateful to have been a part of a show that people like in general. It’s a rarity to get one season on the air. To be able to have 4 when we wouldn’t have even had a second season if it wasn’t for the fan reaction in the first place. It was just all word of mouth. We didn’t have a ton of marketing our first season, so it knocks me out the fact that people waited until midnight to watch the entire season. They’ve cried with us, and they’ve laughed with us, especially being a part of a show that I would have killed to have watched as a kid. I’ve been blessed to be in this business for a while, and for so many of the shows I’ve been on I’ve been the best friend to a white lead. The ability to have a show that’s just all people of color, for our stories to matter, and for the audience to also recognize that and see themselves in us is priceless. We’re just eternally grateful. It’s also hard to fathom that I’m a part of it. I didn’t even realize our reach. I just went to Amsterdam and my family joked, “Oh, you’ll probably not get stopped too much here. You’ll have a break.” That did not happen. So many people stopped me on the streets of Amsterdam, and I was just taken aback. I was like, wait, this is international. I don’t even recognize the reach that we have and what our show has. We’re such a little show that we’ve kind of been in our own little island for the last 4 years, so the fact that it’s so much bigger than us is bizarre.

Elizabeth Olsen will end the MCU dry spell with the premiere of her new series, ‘WandaVision,’ on Jan. 15. See her through the years, leading up to this Disney+ project!

Long before she was a major Marvel star, Elizabeth Olsen was known as the little sister of the famous Olsen twins: Mary-Kate and Ashley. Of course, the 31-year-old actress now has an impressive reputation of her own. Elizabeth is one-half of the iconic Wanda Maximoff and Vision superhero duo from the Avengers film series who will be now leading their own TV show, WandaVision, which will premiere on Disney+ on Jan. 15.

Elizabeth got her start in acting by making cameos in multiple ’90s projects that starred her famous sisters: Our First Video, Olsen Twins Mother’s Day Special, The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley and How the West Was Fun. She even appeared on a 1995 episode of their famous sitcom, Full House!

Elizabeth didn’t get her serious start in commercial acting, though, until years later as a young adult. She was 20 and 21 years old when two movies in which she played the leading role — Silent House and Martha Marcy May Marlene — came out in 2011. Martha Marcy May Marlene was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, leading Elizabeth to be nominated for many critics awards (six of which she won).

This set a great precedent for the rest of Elizabeth’s film career, which took off right as her older sisters were retiring from the business (Ashley’s last movie appearance was in 2009’s The Jerk Theory, while Mary-Kate’s was in the 2011 film Beastly). Indeed, it’s like the twins passed on the acting baton as they moved on to the world of fashion design. During this time, Elizabeth was also studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated from in 2013.

Elizabeth went on to co-star alongside How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor in the 2012 film Liberal Arts, and had a leading role alongside Dakota Fanning in the 2013 movie Very Good Girls. The younger Olsen entered a whole new realm of fame, however, when she made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wanda Maximoff (whose superhero alias is the Scarlet Witch) in a post-credits scene from the 2014 film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Elizabeth then made her official Marvel debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, and has reprised the role in multiple Marvel films: Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and will do so again in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Amid all these Marvel movies, Elizabeth even starred in her own TV show called Sorry for Your Loss between 2018-2019.

And that leads us to Elizabeth’s most current project: WandaVision. Fans are eagerly anticipating this new show, which will be Marvel’s first live-action Disney+ series. Unlike the past MCU films Elizabeth and Paul Bettany (who plays Vision) have starred in, this project is quite different — for starters, their characters are essentially living in a sitcom reality. Elizabeth even revealed if this means the series will include a “wink” at Full House.

Outside of acting, Elizabeth became romantically linked to musician Robbie Arnett, 27, in March of 2017. They reportedly became engaged in July of 2019, and are still happily together. Elizabeth is all grown up! You can see more photos of the actress through the years in HollywoodLife‘s gallery above.

9021-0h my! Carol Potter, who played Mrs. Walsh on the OG ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ says she would flirt with Luke Perry, even though he was on-screen dating her TV daughter Shannen Doherty.

The Beverly Hills 90210 set sure seemed to be quite an interesting place behind the scenes back in the day. OG stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling welcomed Mrs. Cindy Walsh herself, actress Carol Potter, 72, to their “9021OMG” podcast on Jan. 4. She of course portrayed the mom to teenage twins Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) and Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley) on the iconic 90s Fox drama. Carol let it spill that she had a bit of an off-screen crush on Brenda’s TV boyfriend, late actor Luke Perry, who played heartthrob Dylan McKay.

“We would flirt!” Carol dished to Jennie and Tori, who played Brenda’s West Beverly High pals and classmates Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin on the show. “We used to joke [about everyone having crushes on Luke] all the time.…We’d talk dirty to each other!” Oh my goodness Mrs Walsh! Carol also revealed that she had the “biggest crush” on Luke while they appeared on the show together.

She then played a game of “Kiss, Marry, Kick to the Curb” with the male actors from the show. Carol said that she would kiss Luke, marry Brian Austin Green (who played David Silver) and kick Jason to the curb, since having those kind of feelings for one’s TV son would be pretty icky.

In addition to crushing on Luke — and who didn’t back in the day? — Carol also revealed that her relationship with TV daughter Shannen was simply cordial at best. “We weren’t warm and fuzzy. I mean, we had some nice scenes together, but I never felt that close to Shannen. I felt really close to James [Eckhouse],” she revealed, referring to the actor who played her TV husband Jim Walsh.

Shannen was with the show from its 1990 debut on FOX through 1994, departing amid reports of clashes with fellow cast members. She was replaced by Tiffani Thiessen, who played secret bad-girl and Walsh family friend Valerie Malone. “When Tiffani came, she and I had a blast,” Potter dished. “She would just shoot the sh*t back and forth…We would play when we were working on the scene. My sense of Shannen is she was…doing her thing. I didn’t feel like there was a lot of space for me.” Well, at least there was space for Luke and Carol 5o have some flirty fun during her eight on and off seasons of the show. The beloved actor sadly passed away on Mar. 4, 2019 after suffering a massive stroke at the too-young age of 52.

Political analyst Tiffany Cross has been named as one of the anchors taking over the weekend slot left open on MSNBC by ‘AM Joy’. Learn more about Cross and her career, here.

The wait is over! MSNBC finally announced who will take over the coveted weekend slot vacated by AM Joy. Now, every Saturday at 10:00am, political analyst Tiffany Cross will host her own, yet-to-be named program following Joy Reid‘s move to weeknights. Here’s what you should know about Cross, 43, and her career before her show premieres on December 12:

1. She’s a savvy political analyst who frequently appears on MSNBC. Cross is no stranger to TV news. The political analyst is sought after for stories and panels about the 2020 presidential election, the Trump administration, and more. She’s not only covered politics in DC for decades, but worked on campaigns, as well.

2. Her show will tell stories representative of different cultures and communities. The still unnamed program, which airs for two hours on Saturday mornings, “is definitely a show for all the people who yell at the TV and don’t feel seen or understood,” Cross told The Washington Post. “I want people to know that I understand you because I am you.”

3. She always wanted to be a TV host. Cross started her career in journalism 20 years ago as a CNN producer, and was once the DC bureau chief for BET News, as well as the Liaison to the Obama Administration for BET. Growing up, she wanted to be the “brown Murphy Brown,” she told The Washington Post. “There certainly were moments in my career when I thought it wouldn’t happen,” she said. “It took a lot of chiseling away before I just declared, ‘You know what? I don’t need your welcome. I am declaring myself here and I am excited to work here.’”

4. She co-founded The Beat DC. The Beat DC currently isn’t publishing, according to their site. Cross described the venture as “a national platform intersecting politics, policy, business, media, and people of color. With a readership comprising influencers across the country, Tiffany led a team that made the fast moving current affairs in a busy legislative climate digestible for the political connoisseur and novice alike

5. She was a resident fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. Cross’ fellowship took place in the Spring 2020 semester, alongside Chasten Buttigieg. Shortly after her fellowship ended, she published her first book: Say It Louder! Black Voters, White Narratives, and Saving Our Democracy.

1. She dated Anthony Scaramucci. Kimberly Guilfoyle dated former White House Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci, 56. The Long Island native’s wife Deidre Ball filed for divorce in July 2017, just days before she gave birth to their second child James, who is soon to be 3. By the beginning of August 2017, rumors surfaced that Anthony was secretly seeing Kimberly, although sources close to the political figure were quick to shoot down the reports at the time. The short-lived romance later fizzled.

2. She went to college in California. After growing up in San Francisco, Kimberly attended the University of California, Davis, where she impressively graduated magna cum laude. In 1994, she received her Juris Doctor from the Law School at University of San Francisco. Kimberly also spent time studying and doing research at Trinity College in Dublin. In 2006 she got a job as a host of Fox News’ weekend show The Lineup. Even after the show was canceled, Kimberly stayed on with the network, and was eventually named a host of The Five in 2011, where she’s appeared ever since. The show received a primetime slot in April 2017. Because of her contract with Fox News, where Kimberly has also made appearances on several other news shows, she turned down a job as the White House press secretary in May 2017.

5. She’s had other high profile relationships. Kimberly married Gavin Newsom, who became the mayor of San Francisco in 2001, and is now the current California Governor. She filed for divorce in Jan. 2005, and the split was finalized the following February. She remarried in May 2006, tying the knot with Eric Villency. Their son, Ronan, now 13, was born in October 2006. Kimberly and Eric ended their relationship in 2009, and have since divorced. Rumors began swirling that she was dating Donald Trump Jr., following his split from Vanessa Trump, 42, after they were seen at an event together in 2018 — and they’ve been happily dating since!

Stassi Schroeder really loved being a part of the Bravo TV family. The now-fired ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star pleaded with the network to never let her go in a Feb. 2020 message, because she was so happy there.

Stassi Schroeder had a very good life with the Bravo cable TV network prior to her June 9 firing from Vanderpump Rules. And she knew it. An old Instagram post that the 31-year-old shared on Feb. 5, 2020 is now so ironic. She appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and posed for a selfie with him in the Clubhouse, alongside fellow guest, Summer House star Kyle Cooke. Stassi shared it to her Instagram and captioned it, “Dear Bravo, please never fire me, because I love this sh*t so much.” She was one of VPR’s biggest stars, Bravo’s most recognizable faces, and the network was going to film her upcoming Italian destination wedding to Beau Clark. Now she’s without a job.

Dear Bravo, please never fire me, because I love this shit so much.

A post shared by Stassi Schroeder (@stassischroeder) on Feb 5, 2020 at 7:37am PST

Bravo fired Stassi and Kristen Doute, 37, who were full time cast members on Vanderpump Rules since its inception in 2013. It came after former cast mate Faith Stowers relayed a story during an Instagram Live session with Floribama Shore star Candace Rice on June 1, where she claimed the pair called the police on her after seeing that a Black woman was wanted in a string of robberies. It came during a discussion as Faith revealed how hard it was being the only Black cast member on Vanderpump Rules, where she appeared on seasons four and six.

“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview,” Faith revealed.

Stassi did confirm that she and Kristen called the cops on their former co-star during a 2018 appearance on the Bitch Bible podcast (the audio has since been deleted). “We are like, we just solved a f**kng a crime,” Stassi recalled at the time. She added, “We start calling the police. The police don’t give a f**k.” Kristen tweeted a photo to her followers in Apr. 2018 of the unidentified female robber, taken from a local L.A. TV news station’s report. She wrote, “Hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.”

While Stassi issued a profuse apology on June 7, writing on Instagram that, “I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused,” the damage was done. She was dropped by several partners, including, shaving brand Billie and vitamin startup Ritual. On June 9, Stassi, Kristen and two new VPR cast members were axed from the show. “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules,” the network confirmed to HollywoodLife in a statement.

Fans who came across Stassi’s old post about asking Bravo to never fire her because she was so happy at the cable TV network had plenty to say in the comments. User @ogkapcake wrote, “I bet you wish you had never put that out in the universe Stassi. I guess you won’t be loving this sh*t anymore….sad, I was hoping to watch your wedding but it looks like your life just exploded …..not sure we will see you again. Look at it this way….it’s been a great ride girl.” @khalidbrammer told Stassi, “See what happens when you decide to talk out of the side of your neck even though silence is free?” while @alittledeestruction gave Stassi the wise advice, “You should probably turn off comments for this one.”

Barry Brewer is one of the ‘bruhs’ on Tyler Perry’s newest comedy series ‘Bruh.’ He spoke with HL about bonding with his co-stars, working alongside Tyler Perry, and more.

Tyler Perry’s Bruh debuted in May 2020 on BET+ and follows 4 college friends in their 30s as they navigate the world of relationships, careers, and friendships. Barry Brewer stars as John, a businessman looking to take the next step and get his bar up and running. The journey hasn’t been easy for John so far, but his ambition continues to push him forward.

HollywoodLife talked EXCLUSIVELY with Barry about why he was drawn to the character of John. For Barry, he saw a lot of himself in John. He also discussed bonding with his co-stars and establishing real-life friendships with them over the course of filming. Barry opened up about working with creator, executive producer, and director Tyler Perry and getting the opportunity to show off his many talents with this role.

Barry Brewer and Mahdi Cocci on ‘Tyler Perry’s Bruh.’ (BET)

What stood about the role of John in Bruh?
Barry Brewer: We have some similarities in a way. I feel like John thinks he’s the underdog. Growing up, I felt that way. He’s trying to prove himself to everybody instead of just looking more inside to see what is him. I think that’s what definitely draws me to that character. He’s layered and has a lot going on. I love the character because it’s a challenge to just show the different layers from his relationship with his mom to his friends and him trying to see where he fits in. They went to college and they were friends, but now they’re starting to evolve into their careers and things like that. He’s still trying to find what’s John. What do I represent? I love that as an actor. I love taking on that complexity and finding yourself in that character.

The show centers around a group of male friends and the chemistry between the 4 of you is essential to making this work. What was it like meeting each other and forming that bond and establishing the vibe?
Barry Brewer: That was the greatest part of the whole project, to be honest with you. Me and Monti [Washington], who plays Bill, did another show together called Games People Play, so we connected outside of the show on that. We were on the same wavelength just as it relates to life and our chemistry there. In the audition room, for whatever reason, me, Mahdi [Cocci], and Phil [Mullings Jr.] kind of connected as well just kind of coming back and forth to the audition. Mahdi and Phil were both from Atlanta and had to fly to LA to audition. We kind of just started talking a lot in the audition room. It’s ironic or divine, I should say, that we all got it. Working with them when it came to being on set, to playing friends, we actually were really friends. We kind of met early on and practiced together. We enjoy each other’s company outside of working through the script. The real friendships actually developed, and I think that comes across on the show. It was really fun. I don’t have a lot of friends, so developing real friendships with these guys who I was blessed to work with was pretty dope for me.

Things have been a little tense for John when it comes to the bar. What can you tease about where that goes from here?
Barry Brewer: It really reveals more of the characters and who they are at their core. I think it’s just like real life. Sometimes in troubling and hard moments, you really see who people are, whether that be good or bad. I think that this will really reveal who not only John is, but who Tom and Bill and Mike are in these controversial situations. I’m looking forward to the audience seeing more of the characters and who they are as the story builds.

One major aspect of John’s storyline is his relationship with his mother. Will we see more of that?
Barry Brewer: Definitely. We’ll peel back the layers of why the relationship is what it is. There’s obviously some creativeness about her character, but that character is real. She’s kind of that mom who has raised her son by herself and they’ve become friends. She’s had that tough love, straightforward mentality. We have 24 episodes, so you’ll see how that groomed John to be who he is.

I feel like John just wants to prove himself to his mom.
Barry Brewer: I think that’s the biggest thing for him. She’s the first one that he feels like he needs to prove to because he doesn’t have a woman in his life at this point.

This show is part of the expanding Tyler Perry universe. What’s it been like working with him and collaborating on this project that explores young Black men in the millennial age?
Barry Brewer: First of all, working with him was such an honor and a pleasure. To see a Black man have a movie studio is inspirational. To see something that represents me gives me inspiration. We wrote him a card and said, “Thank you for believing in your dreams so that mine may come true.” It was a pleasure to see and work with him in his element. He’s definitely a brilliant man and very generous in giving newer actors an opportunity where people wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity. Not just that, but he even allows us to do what we’re gifted at. I’m a stand-up comedian as well, so he allowed me a lot of leeways to create content. He gave me the blueprint, and let me run with it. For me, that was just one of the most impressive things. As an actor and stand-up comic, I admire so many people like Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, so I’ve just been waiting anxiously for my chance to be able to do it my way and to have that creative opportunity to do that. Being an African American man, you don’t often see us with these careers on TV. Obviously, this is a group of people that could be any color, any race, creed or anything, but as a young African American man watching TV and movies and being into it, you don’t often see where they’re just regular guys who aspire to be a lawyer or a doctor or architect, so I really am grateful for that to be seen. I’m very grateful to be a part of a show where every color and creed can look at this and find their friends.

Lea Michele’s past co-stars continue to emerge with new allegations of mistreatment from the actress. This time, her former ‘Ragtime’ understudy, Elizabeth Aldrich is speaking out about and claims she’d cry ‘every night’ over Lea’s ‘mean’ behavior.

Lea Michele‘s former Ragtime understudy has joined the slew of stars who’ve spoken out about her alleged mistreatment. Elizabeth Aldrich, who is now a self-care coach, took to Twitter on Wednesday, June 3 with numerous claims about the former Glee star, 33. “I was @LeaMichele’s u/s in Ragtime. She was absolutely awful to me and ensemble,” Aldrich wrote above a throwback photo of the two on set of Ragtime. Lea is pictured with her arm around her understudy at the time.

“She demeaned the crew and threatened to have people fired if she was in anyway displeased,” Aldrich continued. “I used to cry every night from the mean and manipulative things she would do. She was 12. She was terrifying.”

When a Twitter user responded that Lea “should have been checked back then but because she wasn’t her horrible behavior just grew and grew,” Aldrich agreed, and alleged that there are others who felt a way about the pregnant actress.

“Of course, I was only 10, but even my friends who worked with her on S.A. [Spring Awakening] felt intimidated coming forward,” Aldrich replied to the Twitter user. “Actors are often silenced but I’m glad her abuse has been brought to light and hope that she takes a real hard look at herself and ameliorates her ways.”

Lea has not responded to Aldrich’s claims, however, she did release a lengthy apology for “hurting people” after her Glee co-star, Samantha Marie Ware was the first to speak out.

Ware, who played Jane Hayward in season 6, accused Lea accused of making her “first TV gig a living hell.” Ware spoke out after Lea shared her support for the Black Lives Matter Movement in wake of the death of George Floyd.

“I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would ‘s*** in my wig,’” Ware tweeted.

In her apology, Lea claimed she didn’t remember making the “specific statement” that Samantha mentioned in her tweet. But, she apologized for any harm she may have caused. “What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people,” she said. “Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times, or whether it was just my immaturity and me being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused.”

After Meghan McCain claimed that her NYC neighborhood looked like a ‘war zone’ after looting, a resident of her building said it was untouched. ‘The View’ panelist then admitted she was staying somewhere else.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to shelter in place somewhere other than New York City following the vandalism and looting by some outside factions after peaceful George Floyd racial justice protests. But in Meghan McCain‘s case, it appears she wanted to seem like she was hunkered down in Manhattan, while actually staying someplace else. She claimed that her neighborhood looked like a “war zone,” until a resident of her own building publicly called out The View co-host, saying that their area appeared “just fine” outside.

1. I am six months pregnant – a gossip organization is about to run a story of where me and my family are currently. I sent a tweet yesterday based on the news I saw happening in midtown we all have been watching all over different media platforms…

— Kristen Bartlett (@kristencheeks) June 2, 2020

Meghan is The View‘s conservative voice and she used her Twitter message about destruction to blast New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo — both Democrats — over their handling of the civil unrest in the NYC area. On June 2 she tweeted, “My neighborhood in Manhattan is eviscerated and looks like a war zone. DeBlasio and Cuomo are an utter disgrace. This is not America. Our leaders have abandoned us and continue to let great American cities burn to the ground and be destroyed. I never could have fathomed this.”

However, her neighbor Kristen Bartlett pointed out that she saw none of the destruction Meghan described. Kristen — who is the co-head writer on TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee — retweeted Meghan’s message about the chaos and devastation and wrote, “Meghan, we live in the same building, and I just walked outside. It’s fine.”

After Kristen’s tweet that she and Meghan seemed to not be living in the same place via their completely opposing observations of what their neighborhood looked like, pregnant Meghan, 35, admitted she might be somewhere else. In a June 3 tweet, she said her previous Twitter message about her neighborhood was based on things she saw either on TV or social media.

“I am six months pregnant – a gossip organization is about to run a story of where me and my family are currently. I sent a tweet yesterday based on the news I saw happening in midtown we all have been watching all over different media platforms,” she wrote. She then followed it up with a second tweet saying, “I support the peaceful protests, their movement but am absolutely heartbroken about the destruction in the city I have loved since I moved to when I was 18. It is important to have your voice heard and I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.”

The Garcia family experienced a turning point in last week’s episode of ‘The Baker & the Beauty.’ HL spoke with Belissa Escobedo about Natalie coming out and Natalie’s relationship with her mother going forward.

Vanessa wasn’t the only surprise at the Garcia family dinner during the May 4 episode of The Baker and the Beauty. Natalie came out to her family in an emotional scene, but Mari didn’t immediately accept her daughter’s sexuality. Belissa Escobedo talked with HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY about Mari’s reaction to Natalie coming out. “I was a little surprised only because so often we see the story of usually the father having a really tough time when it comes to sexuality, and I thought that was where they were going to go,” Belissa told HollywoodLife. “With Mari, it’s a bit more heartbreaking for me just because that mother-daughter relationship is so sacred. You really see both sides struggling, and it’s such an honest and understandable struggle on both ends. You know Mari is really shocked by all of this and is just taking it all in.”

Belissa opened up about how this moment will impact this mother-daughter relationship going forward. “Their relationship is forever changed,” Belissa admitted. “From here, it’s only about growth. It’s going to be a challenge for both of them to see where they’re going to be able to come together and have this relationship again.” She added that this will cause “tension” throughout the Garcia family, which is not something they’re used to. “They’re such a vocal family, everything’s usually out in the open, and we’re all in each other’s business,” she said.

As for Natalie and Amy’s romantic future, Belissa teased that they will be “going on lots of adventures together.” She talked about how that relationship has evolved into a sweet romance. “What I really love is how genuine the friendship built,” Belissa told HollywoodLife. “From their first meeting and as you’ll see throughout the season, you just watched these two young girls find a best friend and then discover that it’s something else. They’re learning how to navigate that and all the awkwardness. It’s not a fairy tale romantic comedy. There’s a lot of mess-ups. You get to see that with them. They’re so so forgiving and compassionate with each other. It’s beautiful.”

The actress said that it’s “so vital for the younger generation” to be seeing a relationship like Natalie and Amy’s on TV. “Growing up, I didn’t have that. Not only did I not really have any LGBTQ representation on TV, but specifically as a Latina, that was really tough. It’s a different navigation that you have to go through, so I think it’s really important to have Natalie on-screen right now.” The Baker and the Beauty airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC.

Quarantine isn’t stopping Mama June from staying fit! The reality TV star hit the beach in Florida for a yoga session, amid the lockdown order.

Mama June is working on her fitness while in quarantine! The 40-year-old reality star — born June Edith Shannon — was spotted doing a beach yoga workout on on May 6, while staying six feet away from her trainer. The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star has been trying out different workouts in an effort to maintain her slender frame. Mama June famously lost nearly 300 pounds, dropping down to 160lbs thanks to surgery, changes in her diet, and a fitness routine. While working out on a Florida beach, she wore a dark blue tee, with multicolored floral patterned leggings and white sneakers. Her blonde tresses were pulled back into a ponytail and she wore a massive smile on her face.

It seems quarantine is doing wonders for the reality TV personality, as she took to Instagram to reveal her slimmer body on Thursday, April 30. Fresh off a dip in her Florida swimming pool, June gave us serious Baywatch vibes as she slicked her wet blonde hair back and donned a red one-piece swimsuit that read “Guard.” She simply captioned the photo with her very own hashtag “#Bootimous,” along with a sunshine emoji!

The Mama June: From Not to Hot star has been actively promoting her #Bootimous line of t-shirts and merchandise to raise money for healthcare workers and those affected by COVID-19. “Ok y’all …Whose Proud and Bootimous? I know I am!” she captioned an initial post, informing her half a million followers she would be donating $1 from every shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie to the COVID-19 First Responders Relief Fund. “Thank you to everyone who purchased the #MamaJune #Bootimous limited edition shirts! Love you all…,” she captioned another post on Sunday, April 26.

Her posta come just days after Honey Boo Boo‘s mom unveiled her sparkly white veneers! June actually got the $10,000 dental upgrade back in 2017, but unfortunately broke one of the pricey teeth while eating ‘fat cakes’ in a season 4 episode of Mama June: Family Crisis. “I am happy to finally have gotten my tooth fixed,” June told British tabloid The Sun on April 22. “Now I have to watch the fat cakes so it doesn’t break again.”

Susan Lucci looks as stunning today as when ‘All My Children’ left ABC’s airwaves in 2011. She donned an incredible one-shouldered red dress for a video PSA on heart health.

It’s too bad All My Children still isn’t on the air, because daytime TV’s former leading lady Susan Lucci is still looking so amazing at age 73. She taped a public service announcement video to raise funds for the American Heart Association and shared it to her Instagram on May 5. In it, she appeared just as glamorous as her soap opera alter ego Erica Kane. While AMC was cancelled by ABC in 2011, Susan looked like she just stepped onto the set with her incredibly glam look in a red cocktail dress. What’s all the more amazing is she just revived Erica doing dramatic expressions while wearing tight leather pants for a Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show from home appearance. One of the four existing soaps on network TV needs to hire this woman STAT because she’s still got it.

Susan wore a red, one-shouldered sleeveless mini-dress and looked so incredibly gorgeous. It was skin-tight and fit her like a glove, showing that she still has her trim actress figure into her 70’s. Her brunette locks were teased to give her plenty of volume on the top and sides, as her hair brushed past her shoulders. The Emmy winner had a glam makeup job that showed off her flawless face, including a bright red lip to match her stylish frock.

Susan could be seen seated with her legs crossed at the knee on a white chair. She showed off her amazing posture while in her living room, resting her hands on her lap. She was in front of a fireplace that had two gorgeous blue and white Chinese patterned vases on either side of the mantel. In the direct center was her Daytime Emmy Award for for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She takes immense pride in it, after finally taking home the prize in 1999 after 19 previous nominations for her portrayal of Erica Kane without a win.

The daytime legend captioned the video, “The American Heart Association is celebrating #ShowUsYourGood. Join us in supporting heart and stroke patients who are more vulnerable than ever. If you can, join me in donating at the link in my bio help save lives today!” Susan has been a powerful voice for the American Heart Association — especially when it comes to women’s cardiovascular heath — ever since she had a near-fatal 2018 cardiac episode. After experiencing a series of chest pains, she went to her doctor and found out there was a 90 percent blockage to the main artery of her heart. She was on the verge of a sudden fatal heart attack, known as the widow maker, and had emergency heart surgery. Susan had two stents placed in her heart, and thankfully has been in good health ever since.

Padma Lakshmi posted a hilarious margarita tutorial on Instagram, and the Top Chef host declared ‘do not try this at home’.

When Padma Lakshmi learned that her 10-year-old daughter Krishna wouldn’t be returning to school until September, the Top Chef host had a hilarious reaction. The 49-year-old shared an Instagram video on May 1, teaching her followers have to make a margarita, and captioned the clip, “Just found out #littlehands won’t be going back to school until September.” In the tutorial, the mom-of-one made the cocktail with cucumbers, lime, agave syrup, sparkling water and tequila. After taking a sip of the finished beverage, the TV personality told viewers that the drink might need a “little more tequila,” adding, “Now, you don’t want to get too drunk, so drink responsibly.”

She then grabbed a bottle of Patrón Tequila — “only the good stuff” — and threw caution to the wind as she shrugged and said, “Actually, f**k it.” Padma then popped open the bottle and began chugging the alcohol. The Easy Exotic cookbook author drank nearly half the bottle, but reminded fans the clip was for entertainment purposes only. “Please do not try this at home,” she captioned the video.

Earlier in the week, Padma went full Miami Vice in a photo she shared to her Instagram account. In the image, she sported a green and black tracksuit and black bra, highlighting her toned abs. She added a gold necklace and a pair of black sunglasses while posing with her hands on her hips and staring off into the distance — poised to shut down any crime spree happening on her watch. “Caption this,” she began the accompanying words on her post, with an emoji wearing sunglasses. “Miami Vice 2020: Fighting crime while fully supported™️ Lewk by Adele,” she finished off the caption, adding the hashtags “swish” and “suited up.”

While Padma may have been suited up to fight some crime in her April 26 Instagram post, her look was slightly more relaxed in the kitchen on April 13. In the video she shared with her followers, which also featured her daughter Krishna, or “Little Hands,” as her mother endearingly calls her, Padma showed her fans how to make a delicious lasagna with white ragu! As if that wasn’t good enough, Padma’s style was the perfect relaxed look for quarantine. She sported a pair of sweatpants and layered two sports bras.

McDreamy and McSteamy are together again…and killing it at social distancing. Former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ stars Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane went on a hike and shared an amazing reunion photo.

If life is feeling a little empty without new Grey’s Anatomy episodes due to the coronavirus outbreak shutting down production in March, Eric Dane has you covered! At least nostalgia-wise. Dr. Mark Sloan himself decided to brighten up the day of Grey’s fans everywhere by reuniting for a hike with his fellow former co-star Patrick Dempsey, 54. Eric shared the photo to his Twitter account on Apr. 29, showing McSteamy and McDreamy in the green grass-covered foothills near Los Angeles.

While they didn’t show a reunion embrace due to social distancing, Eric, 47, made light of how everyone is required to stay a safe distance from others. “Blurry pic of how to hang out 6 feet apart @PatrickDempsey,” he wrote in the caption. Eric could be seen in the foreground with a big smile on his face while taking the selfie, even using his thumb to point backwards to show that his pal Patrick was behind him. Patrick — who played Dr. Derek Shepherd on Grey’s for over a decade — was a decent distance in back, and had his arms spread open in a welcoming gesture while showing off his pearly whites.

Grey’s fans flipped out over seeing the two handsome former TV doctors hanging out in real life. @kinghaza14 responded, “@RealEricDane and @PatrickDempsey OMG LOVE YOU FOR THIS!!” while @__raybae excitedly wrote, “IM SCREAMING!!!” @meredithsgrxy noted, “@RealEricDane and @PatrickDempsey brothers i’m going to cry,” — a sentiment many fellow fans echoed. @babydempeo got the same feels as other fans by responding, “MCBROTHERS IS ALIVEE.”

It’s been years since fans saw the two hunks together on-screen. Eric left the show in season nine after playing plastic surgery God Dr. Mark Sloan from 2006-2012. His character was sadly killed off after surviving a plane crash. Eric then went on to star in TNT’s sci-fi action-drama The Last Ship from 2014-2018. Patrick’s character Derek’s death came following a devastating car accident at the end of 2015’s season that left neurosurgeon Derek brain-dead. Patrick is now seen in the 2020 TV show Devils by Sky Atlantic Italia and has a political drama pilot Ways and Means in the works at CBS.

Ajj – Survival Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I broke my promise on a very sharp rock
And I was possessed by something quite unfriendly
And I was haunted by a demon in my sleep

[Refrain]
And that’s how I learned how to survive

[Verse 2]
And I gave a beer to a bum that was drinking
And I gave some sauce to my bestest friend for cooking
And I gave water to all I thought were thirsty

[Refrain]
And that’s how I learned how to survive

[Verse 3]
And I gave some money to my bank for safe keeping
And I gave some money to my landlord, he was needing it
And I gave attention to the TV that was bleeding

[Refrain]
And that’s how I learned how to survive

[Bridge]
If you ain’t got the do-re-mi boys
If you ain’t got the do-re-mi
Well you better go back to beautiful Texas
Oklahoma, Kansas, Georgia, Tennessee
California is a garden of Eden
A paradise to live in or see
But believe it or not, you won’t find it so hot
If you ain’t got the do-re-mi

[Verse 4]
And I just ripped off a man named Woody Guthrie
And I bought a restaurant for his son named Alice
And I fed false information to the audience

[Refrain]
And that’s how I learned how to survive

[Verse 5]
I give a thank you to my father for leaving me
And I give a finger to my stepfather for beating me
And I give props to myself for achieving
God damn I’m glad that I survived
God damn I am glad that I survived

[Outro]
I just handed you a giant load of gibberish
And I give love to a lover quite deserving of it
And I give thanks to all of you for listening to the story
Of how we all learned how to survive

Martha – Do Nothing Lyrics

You called in sick for work
Leaving some details unspoken
And spent the day in bed
‘Cause your beating heart was broken
Paracetamol and Countdown
On mute on the TV
Thinking, ‘Have I always been like this?’
The arithmetic repeats

Mulling over your achievements
Everything you haven’t done
Chalking off another milestone
Close the curtains, set the sun
Never ever wanna ever wanna go outside
Pull that duvet close and tight
Just ignore the dying light
Count back to one

They say do whatever feels right
But nothing ever feels right
Weighing up the options
Do nothing, do nothing
Do nothing all day, when that song plays, your hands cover your face
Feels like nothing’s ever gonna change

[Instrumental break]

Years ago, sat by the road
Waiting for the van to tow us home
I was cursing my old car
And you were looking at the stars and you said
“Everything is infinite but nothing is eternal.”
“Naive romantic shite,” I thought, until I wrote it in my journal

I won’t ever claim to have an answer
I’m just hoping there’s a chance that
When the darkness gets around to leaving
We can get together for an evening

I won’t claim to have an answer
I’m just hoping there’s a chance that
When the darkness gets around to leaving
We can get together for an evening

Nothing is eternal
Nothing is eternal
Everything is infinite
But nothing is eternal

Nothing is eternal
Nothing is eternal
Everything is infinite
But nothing is eternal

Hands Off Gretel – I Want The World Lyrics

I’m the baddest, I’m the goddess, I’m the one that spoke
Your mental highness make me die miss make me wanna choke
I’ve got a list of all I’ve wanted, wanted in this girl
So give me all I’ve ever wanted, ever wanted now

And now I’ve got my world
Buried six feet under all those to ever doubt I’d ever rule my world
It’s all I’ve..

All I’ve ever wanted was to sing songs at my show but singing songs will never feed my ache and now I wanna show the world exactly what I’ve got but not just the world. I Wanna show the whole world!

I’m the rudest, I’m the cutest, I’m the one that hurts
You’re jealous are ya? Girl on fire! Girl to crash and burn!
I’m the sweetest see the truth is there’s no word for that, that I want
So give me all i’ve ever wanted, ever wanted now!

And now i’ve got my world
Buried six feet under all those to waste my time
There’s pain in my mind, It’s for the last time

All i’ve ever wanted was to see myself on TV but lately i’ve been thinking I will never be. The girl I’ve always pictured is much stronger as a dream cos the truth is I don’t think i have it in me!

WORLD! I WANT THE WHOLE WORLD! And not just the world yeah, i want the world, big shiny big old world oh yeah yeah yeah… and not just the world! I want the whole world..

Bad Sounds – Zacharia Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Zacharia Zacharia
Anxiety messiah
You’re a bad babysitter
But good at being quiet
Zacharia Zacharia, Zacharia

[Verse 2]
Yeah it’s cheap, it came from china
Your stomach liner
You’re the kind that gets weak at the knees
And you ramble when you start to speak

[Chorus]
Zacharia, liar
I feel where you’re coming from
Zacharia, liar
Like you, I was born in the baby boom

[Verse 3]
Zach-of-mia, Zacharia
It’s fine you’re tired
There might be something good on TV
And she knows it’s cheap it came from china
Your stomach liner
You’re the kind that gets weak at the knees
And it knocks you off of your feet

[Chorus]
Zacharia, liar
I feel where you’re coming from
Zacharia, liar
You know I was born in the baby boom
Zacharia, liar
I feel where youre coming from
Zacharia, liar
Like you I was born in the baby boom

[Outro]
Zacharia talks a lot and he worries about what he’s said loads
Later in bed loads
And loads, and loads, and loads

Cassandra Complex – Prairie Bitch Lyrics

Switch on
Pina, beautiful angel
Take my hand, lead me
Across the sand
To the promised land
Face the sun
Face the truth
Face the enemy
Oh, Pina, face the truth in me
Fading scars, white lies
T.V. stories
T.V. is everything
I’m falling, falling down
Fall in, fall out
Oh, Pina, I’m your prisoner
Pina, beautiful alien
Dance with me, take my hand
Oh, Pina, be with me
Realpolitik, realpolitik
Liebe, liebepolitik
Oh, Pina
March over me
TV is everything

Capital Inicial – Leve Desespero Lyrics

Não consigo mais me concentrar
Vou tentar alguma coisa para melhorar
É importante, todos me dizem
Mas nada me acontece como eu queria

Estou perdido, sei que estou
Cego para assuntos banais
Problemas do cotidiano
Ja não sei como resolver

Sob um leve desespero
Que me leva, que me leva daqui

Então é outra noite num bar
Um copo atrás do outro
Procuro trocados no meu bolso
Dá pra me arrumar um cigarro?

Não consigo mais me concentrar
Vou tentar alguma coisa para melhorar
Já estou vendo TV como companhia

Talvez se você entendesse
O que está acontecendo
Poderia me explicar
Eu não saio do meu canto
As paredes me impedem
Eu só queria me divertir
As paredes me impedem
Já estou vendo TV como companhia

April – The Impossible Task Of Feeling Complete Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Blue eyes
Oh, they seem so easy to love
White lies
Always seem so easy to brush under the rug
Myself and I
We were born in a fiery rage, not out of love
Oh, why?
Oh, why?

[Chorus]
Mama, please listen
Something is missing
I don’t feel the same in my skin
I wake in the evening
And sleep through the morning
I feel as though I’ll never win
Was it the TV who raised me to go slightly crazy?
The words I would hear every day
The books I was reading taught me that feeling
This way is okay

[Verse 2]
Oh God, if I asked for blessing
Would you send it on my way?
‘Cause applause ignites a strange feeling
And it doesn’t seem to fade
Mark my words, I will find a way
To feel complete, do whatever I takes
I will drink every drink, walk every road
I will find another me and I will fall in love

[Chorus]
Mama, please listen
Something is missing
I don’t feel the same in my skin
I wake in the evening
And sleep through the morning
I feel as though I’ll never win
Was it the TV who raised me to go slightly crazy?
The words I would hear every day
The books I was reading taught me that feeling
This way is okay

Gutterball – Black And Gold Lyrics

Soon as the sun goes down we’re gonna take a little walk outside
Down past the river, down by the railroad tracks
You and I all alone beneath the glow of the city lights
High octane and a book of matches cast a pretty glow against the sky
Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

I saw on TV where this guy outside of St. Paul shot up a diner for no reason
At all
I swear on my life I wouldn’t want to use a gun
But a little fire now and then never hurt anyone
Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

You in your dress, me in my father’s suit
We’re gonna join hands as the colors begin to shoot
Wait until the flames are burning hogh
Cause I wanna prove my love to you against the midnight sky
Black and gold

Flatsound – The Art Of Not Thinking About It Lyrics

I heard your footsteps on my wooden floor
It was on that bed that we ignored the TV we used for light
Your fingertips were so secure
When you spoke I felt your words burning through my chest
Cause happiness is close
I can feel it in my bones
Like inhaling the morning winter coast
I’m not alone
I’m not alone
I’m not alone
I’m not alone
I’m not alone
I’m not alone
Cause I can feel you breathe
When your chest and my chest meet
In a pattern like the waves on the beach
Let’s be honest
I don’t know how not to think about these things that keep me up
It’s just I’ve been so frightened by these awful thoughts
Im afraid my body’s had enough
And my chest caves in
And my heart gives up
But I feel it now
And it’s stronger than it’s ever been before
But I know that it’s okay
Cause you came with me to the doctor
And I looked him in the eyes
And said I don’t need your pills to survive
All I needs this girl beside me
These words I feel inside me
And I cry to you so quietly
I said I’m scared but is this likely
That I’m dying without fighting
That my children will despise me
Cause their father was a pansie
With a fragile shaking body
And a mind that can’t stop thinking
And these eyes they can’t stop crying
But I’ll be fine as long as nothing
Ever stops this heart from loving you
Loving you

Cadence Weapon – Getting Dumb Lyrics

Don’t go dumb, we ain’t that close to the bay
I’m just talking about, some of the things that we say
It seems we’re all at war, with a sinister art
They use the supermarket sales when they administer charts
Now baby, be yourself, man, you don’t have to check
You don’t have to play the songs that they got in their decks
But where’d the rudeboys go, they’re a band on the run
They rap like turning some tricks, but they ain’t havin’ no fun

Where’d you go, I’m always here
Whatever you need, I’m always near
And I know you, are losing touch
And I know, you’re getting dumb

Shoot your TV, come on, I know you can do it
I got a itchy trigger finger, I can walk you right through it
Girls, they talk like Friends, in their lunch conversation
Generation gap jumpers, wrapped in observations
Man, I sell that rap to the Globe And Mail
I’m used to sailing ships just to get those sales
Man, but don’t sell out, to the advert crews
30 seconds, take your song, they get it microbrewed

Where’d you go, I’m always here
Whatever you need, I’m always near
And I know you, are losing touch
And I know, you’re getting dumb

Alien Sex Fiend – Satisfaction Lyrics

Press the button

Here we go now
I can’t get no satisfaction
I can’t get no satisfaction
‘Cause I try, and I try, and I try, and I try
I can’t get me no, I can’t get no

When I’m driving in my car
And a man comes on the radio
Tellin’ me more and more
About some useless information
Supposed to fire my imagination
I can’t get no, no-no-no
Hey-hey-hey, that’s what I say

Satisfaction
I can’t get no satisfaction
‘Cause I try, and I try, and I try, and I try
I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m watching my TV
And a man comes on and tells me
How white my shirts can be
Well, he can’t be a man ’cause he doesn’t smoke
The same cigarettes as me
I can’t get no, I can’t get no, I can’t get no
Hey-hey-hey, that’s what I say

I can’t get no satisfaction
I can’t get no girl reaction
‘Cause I try, and I try, and I try, and I try
I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m riding ’round the world
And I’m doing this and I’m signin’ that
And I’m tryin’ to make some girl
Tryin’ to make some girl
Baby, better come back later next week
‘Cause you see I’m on a losin’ streak
I can’t get no, no-no-no
Hey-hey-hey, that’s what I say

I can’t get no
I can’t get no
I can’t get no
Satisfaction
I can’t get me no
No satisfaction
No satisfaction
Satisfaction

Rashid – Casca Lyrics

[Letra de “Casca” com Rashid]

[Intro]
Ah-ah
Com licença
Ah… Com licença
Pessoal
Pessoal? Ei?

[Refrão]
Olha pra mim
Olha pra mim
Desde quando me tornei vazio assim?
Olha pra mim
Só pra suprir o que os outros esperam de mim
Esperam de mim
Até quando a resposta é não, tenho dito sim
Olha pra mim

[Verso 1]
Tenho fingido amar meu emprego
Tenho sorrido por educação
Tento praticar o desapego
Tenho fingido gostar do patrão

Menino, faz a barba, lute e seja alguém

Olha pra mim, yeah

[Pós-Refrão]
Ser o que não é, é um fardo e tanto
Só pra ser aceito por quem não quer aceitar
Que tentar ser o que não é, é um fardo e tanto
Só pra ter a vida que outros vão aprovar

Elio E Le Storie Tese – Pensiero Stupesce Lyrics

-Diegetico, politico, poetico!
“Natale con la casta”
Nei migliori cinema!-

La TV è come la mafia: non se ne esce
Se non da morti
Uno che conoscevamo ci è riuscito
Però poi si è impiccato

Dopo la TV c’è il cinema
Dopo il cinema la radio e poi la morte

Alla fine l’unica cosa seria in Italia
È la ristorazione
Che bella gente e che buon vino!
Oh yeah!

Recitazione, copione, intensità e faccia di merda

Boris Boris Boris Boris
Boris al cinema
-“Natale con la casta”!-
Boris Boris Boris Boris
Boris al cinema
-Nei normali cinema!-

Pensiero stupesce
Che nasce e perisce
Che cresce e decresce
Che rientra e fuoriesce
Ma attenti alle lische!

Pensiero stupesce
Che la gente rapisce nel cinematografo
Con l’impepata di cozze

Quando un telefilm di culto approda al grande schermo
Solitamente
È una ciofeca tipo “Sesso and the city 2”

Per fare botteghino ci vuole un bel “Natale con la casta”
-“Natale con la casta”!-

Pensiero stupesce
Che inizia e finisce
Che cresce e decresce
Che rientra e fuoriesce
Ma attenti alle lische!

Pensiero stupesce
Che la gente rapisce nel cinematografo
Con l’impepata di cozze

Boris Boris Boris Boris
Boris al cinema
-Con l’impepata di cozze!-
Boris Boris Boris Boris
Boris al cinema
-In alcuni cinema!-

Boris Boris Boris Boris
-Nei cinema d’essai!-
Boris Boris Boris Boris
-Nei cinemi dell’oratorio!-

-Scaricato dai siti russi pirati!-

-In videocassetta!-

-Com’era?
-Buono, buono!

Alexander 23 – The Internet Lyrics

[Verse 1]
My brain is a scary place
So I spend my time on the internet
Surf waves on a board that’s made of keys
All my friends are usernames and passwords
That light up my screen, but afterwards I’m right back in the dark

[Chorus]
I don’t know who I’m not scared of
Who I was or who I have become
Oh, God, if you exist, I could use some help with this
I don’t know who I’m not scared of
Who I was or who I have become
Oh, God, if you exist, I could use some help with this

[Post-Chorus]
Oh, God (I’m losing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)
Oh, God (I’m losing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)

[Verse 2]
My heart has a scary face
So I spend my time facing silhouettes
‘Cause you left, but your shadow’s all I see
And I keep the TV on so that the lonely ain’t so low
But I’m still the only voice I can’t hear in my head

[Chorus]
I don’t know who I’m not scared of
Who I was or who I have become
Oh, God, if you exist, I could use some help with this
I don’t know who I’m not scared of
Who I was or who I have become
Oh, God, if you exist, I could use some help with this

[Post-Chorus]
Oh, God (I’m osing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)
Oh, God (I’m losing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)

[Outro]
(I’m losing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)
(I’m losing my mind, losing my mind, losing my)

Alltta – Holy Toast Lyrics (feat. 20syl & Mr. J. Medeiros)

In people without religion
In steeples crowded with pigeons
In visions of evil
Through the key hole out of the prison
Without a decision, fishing, in a father that listens
In a tower, around a collar, in Obama’s position
For the power, dollars, division, and the honor it’s given
In a martyr, in women, in Shawn Carter, in all children
Shrouded in Turin
Burning in shrubs, learning to love, rounding a turban
On the curb, in the club with a bourbon and drunk
In sermons, in a permanent slump determined to flunk
As a vermin making earnings from trunks
Serving the junks
Cus I need Him most, bleeding on the cement
In a sea of demons- beaming
Being treated with a chemo dose
Seated with a vino within a scene of latinos
He was seen hosting a feast in His medieval clothes
Cleaning all our feet with soap, speaking to ghosts
Leading a pope, beaten and broke
Even on a piece of toast
And He the most eaten with the least
In a fetus, in a golden fleece
Meeting with the chief, with elitists
In a genius, when that athlete was defeated
In the math, in an atom blast, every time my team wins
To hide a lie and to achieve spins
For me to be idolized, on a drive, for my own reasons
Because they tell me it’s a lesson in our rebirth
Because in hell our breath burns and our knees hurt
Because we know He knelt with lepers and freed serfs
Because it helps sell records and t-shirts
Books, hats, stickers, sweaters, and knee skirts
And in good, bad, and indifferent weather I see works
In the hood tatted, with little help from the priest circuit
In the woods, mad at belief, and a tree serpent
And where the church is, and the worst is
These surface statements lead’em to a basement where they hurt kids
Sure did, burning the earth, cursed, learning to surf
First, with a thirst, and this myrrh
He was bursting from a nova, surfacing from a coma
Said the person who rolled up cursing his melanoma
When I was worthy to no one and now I’m worthy to know Him
With iron sharpening iron with fire, lions, and sultans
Admired, tired, with liars, with friars, choirs exalting
And now I’m revolting, as a squire, high in the vaulted ceilings
In kneeling, bent in a tent begging for healing
Wheeling and dealing, begging for rent, ain’t that appealing
At least’s that’s what he said before his hands started feeling
So the yeast ain’t in my bread to recall the land I am free from
And He is just one and He’s all three
Calling me to give some love to teens with palsy
As seen on TV, we sing till all free
As seen with three Kings, so bring some offerings
Think
Is it a cult of personality
A cultural excursion, multiverse, a formality
The bulk of all our worth a sullied earth an abnormality
A skull for every version a person who passes casually
Calloused at birth an Alice in search of causality
Plausible audible now are all called applaudable
Shouting like Roland Orzabal will all fall like quarters in ears
If you doubting the magician is here
Listen if you can hear to the heart of it all
To the subtle consciousness that has started it all
To the chart on the wall even to the art of the fall
Reaching to the bark was the arch of it all
Reaching to the bark was the arch of it all
Reaching to the bark was the arch of it all
Reaching to the bark was the arch of it all
