‘Dickinson’ returns for its third and final season kicks off with three fresh episodes that include a death, a birth, and one hell of an Emisue kiss!

Lavinia was dead, to begin with.

Dickinson on AppleTV+ is back for its third season, and on premiere day, three episodes became available for diehard fans of Hailee Steinfeld and the creative team behind the reimagining of Emily Dickinson’s life story. Though viewers didn’t have to wait long between seasons two and three, this marks the end of series for creator Alena Smith and crew — and they’re going out with all they got.

The season kicks off with most of the family gathered to say good-bye to Lavinia — Aunt Lavinia, to be exact. Don’t fret, Emily’s sister Vinnie, played by the charming Anna Baryshnikov, is alive, well, and just as hysterical as ever. The somber opening scene sets the tone for the entire season: the Dickinsons, like everyone they know, are dealing with the fallout of a fractured nation. “The Civil War ruins everything,” Vinnie deadpans to the fam.

Even Emily’s good pal Death, played by Wiz Khalifa, is feeling despondent over the war. Seems the conflict between the North and the South is “taking all the fun” out of his work, leaving him totally uninspired. He invites Emily on a carriage ride to question her about how she keeps her creative fire lit with so much sadness in the world. “While I’m here, I want to do something that matters,” she says to him. Clearly, despite the world going to hell, she’s remaining optimistic.

But while Emily’s determined to keep spirits up, it becomes clear very quickly that her family is just as broken as the nation. As her mother mourns her sister, Emily’s own sister learns that all the boys she’s loved before have died on the battlefield, sending her into a very unique grief spiral, filled with weirdly frilly black gowns and renewed interest in all her cats. And then there’s Austin — drunk, philandering, no time for a hairbrush Austin. It seems the wide-eyed optimist is long gone and, in his place, an angry, resentful man remains, one who spends most of his time carrying on an affair with Jane Humphrey, right in front of everyone.

But for Emily, the real problem is Sue. Oh, Emisue fans — you thought after the season 2 finale, you were going to get more kisses in the rain, “volcano” scenes, or, at the very least, no new obstacles standing in the way of their love affair. Yeah, no, not so much, because there’s a new man that has come between them — Sue’s baby! By “accident”, she slept with Austin again, and this time, the pregnancy stuck. Still, in Sue’s mind, the new baby shouldn’t be an issue; in fact, she’s quite at peace to become a new mom, as long as Emily loves her and is by her side. But while Sue dreams of a future where she and Emily can run away together and both be mothers to the baby, Emily won’t allow herself to see a future she knows is impossible. But midpoint of episode 1, they share the second most beautiful kiss in Emily’s bedroom, which should be all over TikTok in 3,2,…

AppleTV+

Things come to blows at dinner after Aunt Lavinia’s funeral, at the end of episode 1. Austin drunkenly unleashes his fury on everyone, announcing he’s “seceding” from the family, and upsets his father so much, Edward suffers a heart attack. The episode doesn’t kill him, but the Dickinson family is now firmly divided. Over the course of the next two episodes, Emily tries everything to restore peace, to no avail. If anything, her efforts only deepen the rift. Things get especially worrisome after Sue gives birth in episode two. Austin hits rock bottom after learning that Jane is moving away to marry another man; Mrs. Dickinson becomes irate when Sue refuses to let her see her grandson as she continually oversteps; and Lavinia — well, actually, Vinnie is channeling her grief into “projects” — “projects” she keeps dragging Emily into. “This country’s at war, my ex-boyfriends are dying, and you need to help,” she insists.

That takes us into episode 3, where Emily is being pulled into the direction of every person in her life, yet everyone is also equally disappointed in her, especially Sue. Though she tries to be a good “Uncle Emily” to the new baby, Emily blows off any real opportunity to spend quality time with him, and Sue desperately wants more than that, especially since she feels like a package deal. “Sometimes, I would like to feel chosen,” Sue says to Emily, adding, “I would choose you, over anyone, any time, any place.”

With Emily torn in so many directions, writing has fallen by the wayside. But she gets the inspiration that she needs from Betty, the town seamstress, during a visit to the Dickinson house for a sewing circle event hosted by Vinnie. She encourages Emily to write, but warns her that, “Writing that shuts real life out is as good as dead.” Soon after, Emily’s given a copy of the Atlantic Monthly by George, and here’s where a significant moment in Emily’s real history unfolds.

Inside the magazine is a piece titled,” Letter to a Young Contributor,” by Thomas Wentworth Higginson. The article by the author/abolitionist/soldier speaks to Emily, even though the last time she showed her poetry to anyone other than Sue, it ended in near heartbreak. Still, with one final glance across the street at Sue’s house, Emily makes up her mind, and writes a now infamous letter to Higginson, the man who would one day play a critical role in having Dickinsons’s work published after her death.

Also by episode three, we also get a significant look into a story running parallel to Emily’s featuring Betty and her husband, Henry. Separated after the events of last season, each is doing their part to further the abolitionist movement. While Henry’s mission remains a mystery, Betty has invited OG women’s rights activist Sojourner Truth, to stay with her, played by the hilarious comedian Ziwe. As Sojourner cannot read or write, Betty is helping to pen her memoir, and while the task added into the absence of her husband is taking its toll, the responsibility is not lost on her, and she proudly does her part.

Three episodes down, seven to go!

‘Dickinson’ season 3 debuts three all-new episodes on Friday, November 5th, 2021 on AppleTV+, with one new episode premiering every week thereafter.

Vin Diesel’s Kids: Everything To Know About The ‘Fast & Furious’ Star’s 3 Little Ones

News Writer

Vin Diesel is a proud dad to Hania, Vincent, and Pauline with longtime partner Paloma Jiménez. Here’s everything to know about the actor’s children.

Vin Diesel might be synonymous with his role as Dominic Toretto in the Fast and the Furious franchise, but he leads a much different life than his movie counterpart. The actor, real name Mark Sinclair, 54, has been in a longterm relationship with partner Paloma Jiménez since 2007. Together, the actor and the model, 38, live a fairly low-key life as parents to three children: Hania Riley “Similce,” 13, Vincent, 11, and Pauline, 6.

The kids are a source of pride and joy for the actor. “My pride in my kids is through the roof,” Vin told PEOPLE in 2017. “Oh my God, I’m proud of them all the time. The last time was when Pauline said, ‘Merry Christmas everyone, from the Diesels,’ and she put it all together in one sentence. It was a big moment.” Vin also admitted that his children move him to “tears” often.

“My kids move me to tears all the time,” Vin continued. “My daughter Similce said to me a couple of weeks ago, ‘Daddy, I know what song should [play] at every funeral.’ I said, ‘What is it?’ And she said, ‘See You Again.’” he said, referencing the Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth song used in a Fast film. “That was not fair.” Below is everything you should know about the three Sinclairs who regularly move Vin to tears.

At 13, Hania is Vin and Paloma’s oldest child. Often called “Similce” or “Alpha Angel” by her famous dad given her firstborn status, Hania made her acting debut in 2019 with Fast & Furious Spy Racers, an animated series about a group of teens who infiltrate an elite racing league, executive produced by her dad. Vin gushed about how proud he was of her debut in an interview with Variety in 2019 — and in a full circle moment, also revealed that Hania was born while he was shooting the fourth Fast film. While he tried to keep the birth a secret, he told the outlet that his late co-star Paul Walker, whom he would refer to as “Pablo,” convinced him to leave set and be at the hospital for Hania’s arrival.

“It was a long day, where Pablo and I were fighting each other in this scene. He came to my trailer at the end of the day and said, ‘Something is on your mind,’” Vin recalled. “I wasn’t telling anyone in the world that my daughter was about to be born. I’ll never forget what he said to me. He said, ‘Vin, you go into that hospital room, and you cut the umbilical cord. It will be the best day of your life.’ That’s the day that she was born.” He added, “I say that because that’s how real the themes of familyhood run in the Fast & Furious saga, and why I am so proud.”

At 11, Vincent is Vin and Paloma’s middle child and only son. Vincent recently followed in his sister’s (and father’s!) footsteps and made his acting debut in F9, the ninth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, in June. The little Sinclair starred as a younger version of his dad’s character Dom, appearing in flashbacks. While on the Kelly Clarkson Show to promote the film a few days before the premiere, Vin revealed that it was director Justin Lin’s idea to have his son in the film.

“I didn’t invite him to play a role in this. The Fast family is so truly a family,” Vin said. “Justin thought it would be a good idea for him to play younger Dom.” While he “didn’t necessarily think it would be a great idea” at first, Vin gushed about how proud he was of Vincent. “He doesn’t get terrified too much,” the actor continued, calling his son a “very bold” person. “He presented a new car company to Justin and I and asked us to invest in it,” Vin said. “He’s that kid.”

Pauline Sinclair

At 6, Pauline is Vin and Paloma’s youngest daughter. The youngest Sinclair has a special moniker, as she was named after Vin’s late co-star Paul. In an interview with TODAY in 2015 following Pauline’s birth, Vin opened about how he felt the presence of the late actor — who died in November 2013 following a car accident — in the delivery room that day. “He was in the room,” he recalled. “There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just… knew he was there.” He added he wanted to honor Paul’s memory. “It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world,” Vin said.

At the F9 premiere in June, Vin revealed that his youngest daughter, like her siblings, also possessed a bit of the acting bug. The actor said that Pauline wanted to play a young Dom in the upcoming tenth installment. The revelation came when Extra asked Vin if Paul’s daughter Meadow Walker would ever appear in a film. “There’s two people that are really hard to say no to that are saying they want to be in the movie,” he said. “One of them is Pablo’s daughter, and the other is my daughter. My daughter Pauline wants to play young Dom.”

Amber Rose has seemingly accused her music executive partner Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards of cheating on her with 12 people in a series of lengthy messages.

Amber Rose has seemingly accused partner Alexander “AE” Edwards of cheating on her in a series of messages on Instagram Story. While the model, 37, does not explicitly name her music executive partner and father of her son Slash Electric, 1, the messages she shared on Wednesday, Aug. 18 appear to point to Alexander, as Amber wrote, “I can’t be the only one fighting for my family anymore.”

A post shared by The Shade Room (@theshaderoom)

In the first IG Story, Amber accused Alexander of cheating on her with 12 people. “I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes. All 12 of y’all bums (the ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him. Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to fuck him anyway. I saw all the texts and DM’s. Y’all were well aware but y’all don’t owe me any loyalty so it’s whatever.”

The model added that she has been “loyal and transparent” but has not received the “same energy in return.” Amber continued, “I’ll never say the girls names because I’m not in the business of ruining lives but y’all know who y’all are. As for him… the lack of loyalty and the disrespect is ridiculous and I’m done.” In a follow-up Story, Amber slammed her “raging narcissistic mom” before reflecting on being “mentally and emotionally abused” in her third and final Story on the matter.

“I’m tired of being mentally and emotionally abused by people that I love,” Amber wrote. “I’ve been suffering in silence for a long time and I can’t take it anymore. That’s why I’ve been so quiet. I’ve been a shell of who I used to be but I refuse to let anyone damage me anymore. Family or not.” HollywoodLife has reached out to Alexander’s rep for comment, and will update this piece accordingly when we hear back.

Amber and Alexander began dating in 2018. They welcomed their son Slash Electric the following year in October 2019. The model is also mom to son Sebastian Taylor, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. The duo were previously married between 2013 and 2016. Amid her accusations of infidelity, Amber’s Instagram account has been wiped clean with the exception of one post from last year. It’s unclear if the model deleted the posts on Wednesday or days before.

LeBron James’ children have serious talent, and not just at hoops. His daughter Zhuri fearlessly led her family in a TikTok dance session where she showed off her killer moves.

It’s always a treat when LeBron James gets together with his kids for a TikTok dance video. This time around his adorable six-year-old daughter Zhuri led the session, set to DJ Shawny‘s “Go Daddy Go.” She mouthed along the lyrics to the opening lines as she did a dance routine to the beat of the song. Zhuri pumped her arms, swung them on either side of her body and then when the line came about, “Now pass it to my brother, let’s go” she motioned behind her with her hands for her brothers to follow her as she hopped offscreen.

The video was a family affair, as mom Savannah shimmed across the screen, followed by the couple’s sons, Bryce, 13, and Bronny, 16. Their NBA superstar dad LeBron, 36, brought up the rear, holding up his hands to his chest and seeming to do a series of bunny hop moves, which you can watch in the below video.

Zhuri sure has grown up! She wore her hair in long braids in the video, and donned a white t-shirt with a colorful pink tulip print on the front. Zhuri had on tan leggings, which were perfect to bust out dance moves in. There appeared to be a bunch of balloons on the ceiling that were just out of the camera’s frame, as their curly strings could be seen hanging down into the top of the video. It looked like the family TikTok dance might have been part of a Mother’s Day celebration, as LeBron posted the video to Instagram the day after the holiday on May 10.

LeBron James, has always loved being a girl dad to daughter Zhuri, even holding her as he accepted an award at New York Fashion Week in 2019. Photo credit: Shutterstock.

Zhuri proved to have quite a fan club among the Lakers superstar’s Instagram followers. User @wslam cheered, “WE STAN QUEEN ZHURI,” while @nnekaogwumike noted, “This is Zhuri’s world, we’re just living in it.” Fan @briah_2014 commented, “Zhuri never disappoints!!!” while @janikabates gushed, “I freaking love this family!!!”

LeBron and his family definitely provided plenty of amazing dance content during the 2020 COVID-19 home lockdown. Everyone took part in the viral dance challenge to Wiz Khalifa & Ty Dolla Sign’s song “Something New” on March 22. They also joined together to crush a routine to MC Hammer‘s Can’t Touch This. As fan @thehoopfilms so accurately pointed out in the new TikTok video led by Zhuri, “The James family got moves,” as they’re still dancing as a crew even with quarantine being over.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s son Chet Hanks has come under fire for new controversial comments. Here’s 5 more things to know about him.

Chet Hanks, the 30-year-old son of Hollywood legend Tom Hanks has been in the spotlight from the day he was born. As Tom’s third child, and his first with wife Rita Wilson, Chet (born Chester Marlon Hanks) has been described as the black sheep of the Hanks family, given the disparity between his controversial image, and his dad’s wholesome reputation. He’s certainly no stranger to public scrutiny, and most recently came under fire for comments about the summer of 2021. Here are 5 things to know about him.

1. He was dragged by the internet for his ‘white boy summer’ comments.

The son of the 64-year-old A-list actor took to Instagram on March 26, to share a selfie video while sitting in a car. “I just got this feeling man that this summer is about to be a white boy summer, take it how you want,” he began. “I’m not talking about [Donald] Trump, Nascar type white boy summer, I’m talking about me, John BJack Harlow type white boy summer,” he added. Despite the obviously problematic nature of his rant, Twitter users put him on blast in the funniest way possible. “chet hanks is the price tom hanks paid to become tom hanks,” one user wrote, while another joked, “chet hanks is exactly what suburban parents in 2007 thought would happen to their children if they let them listen to like half a Lil Wayne song.”

Other users were shocked that Tom, one of the most respected and non-controversial Hollywood stars, was Chet’s father. “I physically can not imagine Chet Hanks and Tom Hanks talking to each other,” one person tweeted, while another joked, “Chet Hanks is proof that you can do everything right in the world and kids will still embarrass tf outta you.”

2. Chet has a daughter.

Chet has a daughter named Micaiah with his ex girlfriend Tiffany Miles. His mini-me was born in April 2016, and although he keeps that part of his life largely out of the public eye, he credits his daughter and parents with helping him overcome substance abuse issues. The year before his daughter was born, Chet was wanted by British police for trashing a hotel room, and later entered rehab for cocaine addiction.

3. He attempted a career in rap music.

Chet went by the name ‘Chet Haze’ when he decided to pursue a music career, and most famously parodied Wiz Khalifa’s song “Black & Yellow”. He released a track called “White and Purple” to reflect the colors at Northwestern University. While at college, he studied theatre and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

4. He has followed in his parents’ footsteps as an actor.

Fans would recall he appeared in the movie Bratz back in 2007, but would go on to play small roles in TV. He has appeared in Shameless, Empire, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

4. He was crushing on Adele.

Chet previously made headlines after he commented on British powerhouse Adele‘s photo, showing her love for Jamaica. In the August 2020 photo, she wore bantu braids and a flag bikini top. Chet later said in his own IG post, “I see the picture one day, it sweep me. I no tell no lie my girl, hair style fit ya. Big up yourself.” He wrote in the caption, “@theshaderoom PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ADELE HIT MY LINE ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO TALK TO HER ABOUT SOMETHING.”

‘Dickinson’ Season 2, Episode 10 Recap: Because I’m In Love With You

‘Dickinson’ Season 2, Episode 10 Recap: Because I’m In Love With You

APPLE TV+

Managing Editor

In the season finale, Emily finally faces her future in epic standoffs with Sam and Sue that change the course of her life forever.

And so the end is here. In the final episode of Dickinson season 2, everything comes to a head for the Dickinson siblings, especially for Emily. The famous poet finally makes the choices that lead to her ultimate legacy, after two intense confrontations with Sam, her editor, and Sue, her true love.

But our story starts at Amherst church. The whole town has come together to celebrate the christening of Jane’s baby — everyone, that is, but Emily, whose absence is quickly noticed by Sue. She confesses to Austin that she hasn’t seen Emily at all since she’s been published. Feeling intensely loyal to his sister and knowing of Sue’s betrayal of them both, Austin can’t hide his contempt as he warns Sue to leave Emily alone. He then rushes off to Jane to stand with her at the front of the church as the baby’s Godfather.  Meanwhile, the reunited Ship and Vinnie look blissfully happy as they take their seats for the service – until Ship drops a bomb that he’s bought a house and he’s moving them to New Orleans — sorry, NOLA! —  as soon as they’re married.

Back at the house, Emily watches as Sam arrives unannounced. He enters with his normal swagger, bossing around Maggie, the maid, to fetch him some food, and looking for the family to say goodbye to before he leaves town. Emily coldly invites him into the parlor while refusing to look at him, her rage barely contained. She asks, too formally and too politely for Emily, for him to give back her collection of poems. As luck would have it, he has them in the bag he brought in with him, but he refuses to give them up. At first, he tries to flatter her again, calling her work ‘first class’, but then, his true colors seep through, and he attempts to mansplain his way into keeping her work.  He tells her if she stops getting in her own way, she’ll help him build an empire with his newspaper. That’s where she loses it.

She lays into him: about her work, about his schemes, but also, about Sue. Assuming this is all coming from a place of jealousy over his affair with Sue, Sam turns cruel, admitting he never had feelings for Emily  and as a woman, she should be thankful he’s taken an interest in her work at all. He calls her weird and warped and strange, but claims her ‘womanly emotions’ are what make her poems great. In fact, he’s already sent one into the office to be printed in the evening edition. She makes a mad dash for his bag to get the rest of them, but Sam gets to it first. He runs to the door, jumping onto the back of moving carriage to be out of reach of Emily. “You’re the devil,” she screams. “I’m a feminist!” he screams back, as he escapes with her work.

Or does he? Turns out, Sam actually left empty handed as, in the middle of the argument, Maggie managed to steal Emily’s poems out of his bag. And so, Emily’s legacy is back in its rightful hands and as she settles at her desk write, the ghost of Frazier Stern arrives to remind her the cost of seeking of fame and glory. Emily finally seems at peace with being a ‘nobody’ in this life, but Frazier lets her know as he leaves that she’ll be the bravest, most brilliant nobody who ever existed.

Adrian Blake Enscoe in season two of “Dickinson,” (Apple TV+.)

At the church, Sue watches as Austin stands as Jane’s side, the pair sneaking tortured looks at each other. Whether it’s the pain of seeing Austin with another’s child after her own miscarriage or her longing to be with Emily, something pushes Sue to leave.  She sneaks out, passing the Newman girls playing on the floor, not noticing they have matches in their hands. Suddenly, one the matches starts an uncontrollable fire, and everyone must flee. With his family safe, Austin finds the Newman girls and quickly realizes they’re responsible. But he immediately puts them at ease, promising not to rat them out. “It’s the 1850s,” he says. “Things burn down all the time.” He invites everyone, including his parents and Vinnie, back to the Evergreens, and takes charge, providing food for his neighbors and organizing donations to rebuild the church. He finally seems to becoming a man he can be proud of and respected by others. When his mother asks about Sue, he comfortably says she’s off living her life, and he plans to do the same, with a look over at Jane.

Meanwhile, Vinnie confronts Ship about his insane plan to move them to Louisiana. While he paints a charming picture of their life together, Vinnie knows the reality and refuses to move to the ‘wrong side of history.’ Having spent all his money on the shack in NOLA, Ship tells her he’s going with or without her. Despite her friends telling her she’ll end up a full blown spinster if she doesn’t go with him — spoiler alert, they’re right on the money — Vinnie let’s him leave, but not without one last passionate kiss to remind him that she will always be the most interesting girl he’s ever loved. Take that, Lola Montez!

Elsewhere, Mr. Dickinson makes a shocking confession to his wife. He admits that he dreamed of the church burning down the night before and he’s that it was an omen of things to come. Mrs. Dickinson brushes his fears aside, insisting he sounds just as crazy as Emily. But Mr. Dickinson remains convinced there’s more horror on the way.

With her whole family at Austin’s, Emily is alone in her room writing when Sue arrives. Yes, this is the scene EmiSue fans have been waiting all season for, and Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Hunt more than deliver.

Ella Hunt and Hailee Steinfeld in season two of “Dickinson,” (Apple TV+.)

While Sue looks relieved to finally be alone with her, Emily can’t bring herself to even look at her sister-in-law. Sue pleads with Emily to listen, to let her explain, but Emily insists there’s nothing left to say. She accuses Sue of forcing her to fall in love with Sam, even though she was in love with him all along. When Sue denies this, Emily demands to know why then she slept with him and why she wanted Emily to give him all her poems.

It’s sometimes hard to remember, between the modern vernacular, the pop music breaks and the Wiz Khalifa cameos, but this story is being told in the 1800s, a time when being queer was labeled as sinful and very dangerous. As Sue explains, after she married Austin, the only bond she had with Emily was reading her poetry — her deeply personal, often romantically inspired by Sue poetry. She calls Emily’s words snakes that coil around her heart and that Emily herself grips her and poisons her in a way that became all too overwhelming. Watching Sue break down like this is a testament to Ella Hunt’s performance throughout the season, because watching Sue finally be honest about her feelings shows just how hard it’s been to keep them locked up all this time.

Sue freely admits that she pushed Emily away because she can’t face her feelings for her and hurt, Emily tells her to leave because she’s succeeded; she won’t be her problem anymore. Sue turns to leave, the end looking in sight, but she stops herself at the door. She turns back to Emily and finally confesses her hopeless, incredible love for her. Emily lashes out, calls her a liar, and even lunges for her throat, because hearing these words from Sue, the words she’s wanted to hear for so long, but can’t believe in the moment, are too painful. But as she looks into Sue’s eyes as she’s their love the only true thing she’ll ever feel, Emily gives in.

The rage and fear finally melt away and Sue kisses Emily fiercely, with all the passion she’s been pushing down for over a year. And with the house to themselves, they make up for all that lost time, in almost every room of the house, no less! In the last moments of the episode, the lie together in Emily’s conservatory and admit that all they need is each other to be truly happy. Nothing else — not fame or fancy salons or even other people — will ever mean more to them then each other.

…and now we wait for season three.

All of my diamonds wet, when step I out, drip check
Got a new whip, drip check
Got a new bitch, drip check

‘Dickinson’ Season 2, Episode 8 Recap: Invisible Touch

‘Dickinson’ Season 2, Episode 8 Recap: Invisible Touch

It’s the big day: Emily’s poetry is finally being published. Too bad some MAJOR secrets being kept by those she loves are about to spoil the moment.

Get ready for a game changer, folks.  After weeks of soul-searching and agonizing over being a published writer, Emily wakes up bright and early to find her first poem on the front page of the Springfield Republican, just as Sam Bowles promised at the end of last week’s episode. Emily triumphantly comes down for breakfast, enjoying the lively debate Vinnie and Ship are having over its meaning. Emily holds her tongue as her mother frantically schemes how to hide the news from Mr. Dickinson, but when Edward arrives and lays eyes on his daughter’s work, he admits his defeat and even gives Emily a bit of praise. But with all the talk of Emily’s poem, no one is actually talking to Emily about her poem. In fact, her whole family is straight up ignoring her. Even her maid and confidant Maggie looks right through her. Enter Nobody, the mysterious apparition, to give Emily the news.

In a dizzy, thought-provoking, seemingly supernatural twist of fate, Emily has become invisible. It’s a wildly ironic, visual hyperbole: in the very moment Emily thought she’d become famous, no one in her life can see or hear a word she says. (And no, Dickinson won’t explain to you how or why, because that’s not how Dickinson rolls.) But Nobody suggests that she use her newfound concealment to her advantage. If she’s invisible, no one can see her as she listens in on how they really feel about her poetry.

And that goes as well as you might’ve guessed. Jane and the Gang are half-jealous, half-bored with Emily’s 15 minutes of fame; Hattie and her revolutionary abolitionist writers are frustrated Emily doesn’t have more of a message; and most people think she’s writing about getting drunk, which invites some not too pleasant conversation around town. Emily’s crushed, and feeling defeated, she follows Nobody back home, passing the cemetery where one of her first loves, Ben Newton, is buried. Here, we finally learn something about this mysterious Nobody. Emily presses him for details about his life, but he still doesn’t remember his name. He does, however, remember how he died: a bullet to the chest. He remembers an overwhelming smell of metal and a horrific battle. Just as it seems like Emily will get answers, Nobody disappears.

Alone, she then makes her way to Sue and Austin’s house, but stops short when she hears voices coming from the barn. There’s a meeting going on the contributors of the Constellation, the abolitionist paper led by the Dickinson’s handyman, Henry. He’s fervently announcing that the money from their paper sales have been sent to John Brown, an abolitionist who famously led a raid on the federal armory at Harpers Ferry, intending to start a slave liberation movement by arming them with weapons. But Henry, Hattie, and their comrades aren’t celebrating the violence to come, (as these events have yet to happen), but rather the power their words have had to inspire others to rise up against injustice. As Emily listens in, still unseen, she witnesses what it’s like to truly feel pride in being published and looks on at their joy with admiration.

Now, we need to talk about Ayo Edebiri, who plays Hattie. It’s almost criminal how little this scene stealer has been in this season, but I’m confident that not only will she be featured more in Season 3, but considering she helped creator Alena Smith write this episode, I’m looking forward to her having an even bigger role behind the scenes too. As the meeting of the Constellation comes to a close, Hattie pulls off her coat to reveal the extravagant gold gown Sue has been ignoring from New York — and she looks hot! What happens next can only be described as perhaps the sexiest, most soulful barn dance ever put to screen. The song is ‘Gon Blow’ by Cakes da Killa; the moves are from Hailee Steinfeld‘s tour choreographer, Nick Demoura; and it’s all just pure joy.

But as all this is going on, Sue has a grand party waiting for Emily 100 feet away at The Evergreens. But without the lady of the hour, her guests are getting restless, including Austin, who, after an angry and awkward run in with Sam Bowles, leaves in huff to find his sister. And guess what? He does! While she’s gone unseen all day by her friends and fellow Amherst residents, a very drunk Emily is discovered by Austin in the barn and dragged out of the party. In a very sweet moment, as Austin, the only person who’s been honest with Emily as of late, gushes about how proud he is of her; in fact, she’s the only thing in his life right now that makes him happy. Before Emily can figure out what’s wrong with her brother, a familiar black carriage pulls up, ready to whisk Emily away. She quickly leaves Austin to reunite with her first love: Death.

Praise be, Wiz Khalifa is back to reprise his crazy cool personification of Death. But on this ride, he’s not alone. As Emily stumbles into the carriage, she’s introduced to the great and recently late Edgar Allan Poe, played by Nick Kroll. Now, you may have read about EAP in school, but like so many of the hilarious guest  stars that have come before on Dickinson, Nick is giving the famous author a twist. This Poe is egotistical; he’s drunk; and, he’s pretty horny for a dead guy. While Poe was a notorious womanizer and drinker, to see it come to life is pretty excellent.

After her joyride with the boys, Emily asks them to drop her off at Sue’s place. The house is dark, all the guests have gone home, and Austin is still out at the barn with Hattie and her friends. Emily, still a little drunk, stumbles into the library, remembering the last time she was in there with Sam and he promised she would have a whole shelf dedicated to her work. A door opens and Sue is there. Thinking she’s no longer invisible, Emily runs to Sue, admitting just how much she wants to be seen by her. But Sue doesn’t see her, and with seemingly no one else around, Sue beckons seductively for someone to join her. That’s when Sam appears from the hall, tearing off his clothes, and racing across the room to passionately kiss Sue. At first, Emily is as stunned as I’m sure every EmiSue fan is watching from home. She turns to leave, but as Sam starts to undress Sue, Emily resigns herself to stay, forcing herself to watch the two people she loved the most betray her. She actually pulls up a chair and defiantly sits down, a front row seat for her broken heart.  Her eyes never leave Sue’s face. As Sam disappears under Sue’s gown, Sue looks up and it’s almost as if she can sense Emily is there. But she doesn’t stop, and Emily watches on, rage coming over her with every passing second. End scene, cut to black, cue enraged screams from Dickinson fans everywhere.

Charlie Puth showed off his eye-catching muscles when he walked out of a Santa Monica gym wearing nothing but multi-colored shorts.

Charlie Puth, 29, was a handsome sight to see when he walked out of a private gym in Santa Monica, CA on Dec. 9. The singer was shirtless and flaunted his fit physique while wearing nothing but multi-colored shorts, white socks, and white sneakers. His thick brown wavy hair was also a longer length than he normally wears and it looked great on him!

The hunk carried a water bottle and his shirt in one hand and a cup in the other during the sighting, and flashed a smile as cameras captured his eye-catching exit. He appeared relaxed and confident as he eventually got into his car and left the area and surely left a lasting impression with onlookers.

One day before his post-gym outing, Charlie got attention from fans when he took to Instagram to post a video in which he shared a little bit about his creative process when writing a song. He explained that he took one of his fan’s emotional tweets and turned it into a “country-sounding” tune. The clip showed him mixing guitar, bass, drums and “a very small violin” through a keyboard and then singing lyrics that had the fan’s name, Noelle, and some words in her tweet, in them.

Fans were quick to share their kind comments in response to Charlie’s talent shortly after he shared the post. “U are legend Charlie,” one comment read. “This is why your music speaks to soul. Thank you Charlie,” another read.

Charlie is no stranger to wowing others with his music. The hitmaker is known for his epic songwriting and singing skills and used both to honor the late Kobe Bryant during halftime at the first Los Angeles Lakers game since the basketball player’s death earlier this year. He teamed up with Wiz Khalifa to sing their hit song “See You Again” on the court and the beauty brought everyone to tears.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has left most musicians having to cancel tours and some performances, we haven’t seen too much of Charlie doing what he does best this year, but we’re hoping that will change soon. Until then, we’ll keep enjoying his music (and his incredible bod) in posts!

Cardi B went totally incognito at LAX to catch a flight before Thanksgiving. You could hardly tell it was the rapper underneath the wild mask that covered her entire face.

She was flying right before Thanksgiving out of one of the busiest airports in the country, but Cardi B made sure to at least protect herself with an oversized face mask while walking through LAX. The “WAP” rapper, 28, was spotted heading into the airport on November 25 with her entire face covered by a silk scarf, following pandemic protocols. We’re talking every inch of her head. See for yourself in the photo below.

Cardi went full Invisible Man by perching her sunglasses on top of the scarf. Truly, kudos to the paparazzi who recognized this was actually the “I Like It” rapper. She rounded out her outfit with yellow joggers, sneakers, forest green acrylics, and a pink RIP & Repair hoodie that read “No More Happy Endings” on the back. While the CDC has advised Americans not to travel over the Thanksgiving holiday in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, Cardi was likely there to board a private plane.

Cardi’s trip out of LAX came the same day that she dipped her toe into the Grammys controversy, and got an apology from Wiz Khalifa who seemingly slammed her. Wiz shaded Cardi for winning “Best Rap Album” at the 2019 Grammys, replying to a fan who tweeted, “Cardi wining a Grammy when Nicki Minaj didn’t is the biggest proof that they don’t know a s**t bout music.” Wiz shot back with, “Most self made artists have this problem.”

Cardi called out people for pitting herself and Nicki against each other on November 24. Wiz reposted her message, and said, “Damn that wuz good advice. I still support u. Nothings changed. Your [sic] self made in my book as well.” All’s well that ends well?

[Hook X2: young mahasi]
I’m working overtime cause am working on my song

[Verse: 1 young mahasi]
Dfc the best flow, flow of my lines
We’ve been makin’ music lately now we get played
All round the world they indebted our art
After we made a song named my self workin’ Wiz Khalifa’s instrumeno with my team
The greatest team of heed with intention to feed everybody with the product that they do really need
Haters will always say negative points of view
They act like they know you more than how you know yourself
Is funny when I see them walkin’ up in the street expectin’ me to greet
I strike an attitude cause their babies are prostitute
Hip Hop is what I know dfc is how I flow
Cause am rhyming on my lyrics like a previous show that you missed
You got lot to say
My lawyer has to say it
Cause you ain’t get paid
I laugh how you live cause you give me strength

[Hook X2: young mahasi]
I’m working overtime cause am working on my song
I know that am good since I created lot of songs
What else I can’t do since you know about me?
Yeah about me

[Verse: 2 A4]
I put myself all together
My life is so amazing I will never set now
I keep on grandin’, now am in my life so beautiful
What is it that you want to grow? Don’t be inconvenient
People think when I rap about my lyrics
You gotta learn how to run, learn how to be a convent
Sometimes we create hate with the people that we love just to impress our fam
That ain’t good at all
I’m not the author am the lyricist
My lyrics are my story
They defiantly leadin’ far but my life so easy
That’s about me
I’m humbling lot about myself, whatchu wanna know?
Beyond arcade things, I play the arcade games
Everytime I try to hold everybody close
I gather times plot fames together like a string attached to them
Like a lose belt
Don’t hate on me you all

[Hook X2: young mahasi]
I’m working overtime cause am working on my song
I know that am good since I created lot of songs
What else I can’t do since you know about me?
Yeah about me

[Verse: 3 A4]
Uh
I’m like a movie trade so unstoppable
I can tell lot about myself some of you, you can’t handle me
Am unhandled
If you want me to sign your contract for your life time
You gotta explain why
Sometime we fall for thing that end up destroying us
I’mmer said it like a bell driving ship to them home
Sweetest thing about me is that am sweet everybody loves me
I don’t go around asking for daddy
I am not a garbage
I am independent
I associate myself with good people
Call that Good Associater
I call my buddies to my house throwing parties
I am good and I like giggling
I am whining
It’s all about me
Am shooting unexpected bullets
That’s how I kill when I rap
No lame niggas gonna play around me like a baby toy

[Hook X2: young mahasi]
I’m working overtime cause am working on my song
I know that am good since I created lot of songs
What else I can’t do since you know about me?

Dave East and Wiz Khalifa Goes “Phone Jumpin” In New Video

Dave East and Wiz Khalifa drops the visuals for their collaborative single “Phone Jumpin.”

The cut is featured on East’s new album Paranoia: A True Story. The Sebastian Sdaigui and Fidel Ruiz-Healy-directed video was inspired by Busta Rhymes infamous video “Gimme Some More.” The cut starts out with a kid watching TV while wearing a Ski Mask. The screen then suddenly put him in a trance. The visuals then transitioned into a warehouse with Dave East rapping while face-painted contortionists pop up and some smoking hot ladies.

Wiz Khalifa appeared in his scene counting stacks of cash in a bathtub with bats flying around him. The two rappers then link up for a crime spree while rapping on top of cop cars with police helicopters hovering above them. The single “Phone Jumpin” also sampled Busta Rhymes classic “Gimme Some More” and Dave East ensures that he stays true to the music video theme for the original song. East new album Paranoia: A True Story was released in August and has since scored a few bangers.

He is currently working on his next album due sometime early next year.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper delivers the hook and a killer verse on the infectious beat. “Them been to places I been (I’ve been) / That blue, the bag that I spent (I spent) / Had a nigga f**k me and my best friend (ah-ha) / J-j-jump on top then I do a little spin (spin) / Been back at it then I give a little grin (grin) / Give a ni**a super head like Karim,” Cardi B raps.

Everyone is paying close attention to see if she will hit the number one spot and overthrow Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.” If anyone deserves a number one hit right now its Bardi because she worked hard for it and she never pretended to be anything or anyone that she is not. She won over a lot of fans with that realness about her. It’s true what they say, ex-strippers know how to make a real club banger.

Juicy J recently celebrated some success on the Apple Music chart with Three 6 Mafia classic single “Slob On My Knob” became the number one trending song in the world. J wrote on Twitter that he wrote the song when he was in the 11th grade. “Slob on the knob is trending #1 on Apple Music I wrote that song when I was in 11th grade & the bag still coming in $$$ thank you,” he tweeted.

Wiz Khalifa – In The Air Lyrics

WIZ KHALIFA
In The Air Lyrics

Verse 1: Wiz Khalifa
You’ve been lost with them rookies
Young Khalifa on this pro shit
So sick of standin still I could get you in motion
Trips out in the sand
Rollin swishers by the ocean
Toastin, private seats on the cloud and we ghostin
Used to play the low
Now you can’t help but get noticed
Startin to get approached and your
Girlfriends gettin nosey
Still you hold me down,
Hold me down ain’t ‘fraid to show it
I know she someone I can grow with

Chorus: K-Young
Girl I wanna know, girl I need to know
If you really with me, if you’re not then you can go
Girl I wanna know,
Would you tell me a lie? No
If you ever leave my side, no
Would you play with my time? No
If you rider put em
In the air (x12)

Verse 2: Wiz Khalifa
Tell me what’s your name
Here’s my number you can call me
Can’t deal with a wife
But you can be my little shorty
I can be your star
We can kick it out in orbit
Or get done with this,
Flip somewhere and record it
Says she got a man,
But her man she gettin bored with
Love me cause I grind,
She don’t mind where I be tourin
Don’t got lots of time, therefore
I can’t be your boyfriend
I’m more than in the air, soarin

Chorus: K-Young
Girl I wanna know, girl I need to know
If you really with me, if you’re not then you can go
Girl I wanna know,
Would you tell me a lie? No
If you ever leave my side, no
Would you play with my time? No
If you rider put em
In the air (x12)

Bridge: K-Young
I won’t be excited to sit at home
Waitin to hear the phone ringin
No, oh, oh, I won’t
Even though I’m in love with you
Yes I’m in love with you
Girl I’m hopin that forever we’ll be tight now
Let me put in on the table for you right now

Chorus: K-Young
Girl I wanna know, girl I need to know
If you really with me, if you’re not then you can go
Girl I wanna know,
Would you tell me a lie? No
If you ever leave my side, no
Would you play with my time? No
If you rider put em
In the air (x12)

Issa Trap: Is Amber Rose Pregnant For 21 Savage

Issa trap. Amber Rose might be pregnant for her boyfriend 21 Savage and fans have been weighing in on Twitter with mixed reaction.

The celebrity socialite and the Atlanta rapper have been dating for a few months now and things seem to be heating up for the pair with these rumors of a baby. Their relationship has the feel of a giant publicity stunt from the start and throwing this baby rumors into the mix only serves to stir up more chatters from their critics.

Amber Rose even turn up the volume recently when she revealed that she is madly in love and is going to marry 21 Savage who is 9 years her junior. So she is having a baby and planning to tie the knot. One fan on Twitter is saying it’s a trap. “This is nothing more than a trap and everyone except 21 sees the end game here, dude go get put on child support for 18 years, should listen to Kanye,” the fan wrote.

In a recent interview, 21 Savage says that Amber Rose is a really cool person and she got him to take his vitamins and drink water, which are things that he doen’t normally do. “She’s a real cool woman. She treats me like a king,” Savage said. “She makes me do sh*t that I don’t normally do, like take vitamins and drink water.”

Amber Rose already has a 4-year-old son with Wiz Khalifa. The two got married in 2013 and got divorced in 2016 following a bitter split.

Ro Ransom – Stop The World Lyrics

[Intro]
S, S, S, S

[Verse 1]
I’ll stop the world to make it right if something’s wrong
I’ll stop the world to make you mine ’cause you’re the one, you’re the one
And I don’t wanna wait, not another day
I think I would die to be alone with you
And we could run away to a better place
There ain’t nothin’ here for us but me and you
And when I saw your face it felt like miles away, miles away, oh
I can almost taste the way you smile at me, honestly
I’ll stop the world to make it right if something’s wrong (yeah)
I’m fallin’ right into the space between your arms, between your arms
And I don’t wanna wait, not another day
I think I would die to be alone with you

No lies – Ugly God feat. Wiz Khalifa lyrics

Lyrics Ugly God – No lies

Keep it real, what you doin’, where ya at
Don’t tell me no lies, don’t waste my time how ’bout that?
Come get what you deserve, what’s the word, what’s the catch?
Aye, what’s the word, what’s the catch? I’m at your neck
Keep it real, what you doin’, where ya at
Don’t tell me no lies, don’t waste my time how ’bout that?
Come get what you deserve, what’s the word, what’s the catch?
Aye, what’s the word, what’s the catch? I’m at your neck.

Bass bumpin’, b***h I’m lit, say somethin’
Late night, early morning, cake thumbin’
What the f**k? What you mean I ain’t stuntin’?
I make cake like a easy bake oven
Look me face to face, don’t tell no lie
Get your s**t together, please don’t throw me to the side
Don’t pay no mind, if you just gon’ waste my time
You hear this all the time but I think you should be mine (with your sexy a*s)
Ain’t no rush, take your time be patient
Tell the truth, save them lies goodness gracious
Lizard Man, Ugly God, P***y Bacon
Booty Gang, underground sensation.

Keep it real, what you doin’, where ya at
Don’t tell me no lies, don’t waste my time how ’bout that?
Come get what you deserve, what’s the word, what’s the catch?

Go to Cannes, go to France, go to Jamaica
Eyes low it might look like I’m korean
Diamond chain it look like somebody peeing
H**s know, niggas know so they don’t try me
Keep it on me, never know these niggas grimy
Playstation, Dreamcast how I be ballin’
No games, fucked your b***h now she callin’
Six rings, I’m the best like I’m Jordan
No look, catch the pass then I’m scorin’.

Keep it real, what you doin’, where ya at

SEVYN STREETER
Anything U Want Lyrics (feat. Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih & Ty Dolla $ign)

So fine, could you be mine?
Tattoos with the green eyes
I might just call and let you put the work in

Baby, just lay right here
Speed dial, got the green light for you

Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do
Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do

Look, little baby, won’t you be mine?
Swear them other hoes, girl, you got the green light
I’mma take you to Ibiza, run a Visa
If I wasn’t tryna hit it, girl, I’d be lying
Private suite reservations for two
Laying with you under palm trees
Take it off, girl, you know I’m tryna taste it
Lay you on the bed while I sip the Bombay
Anything you want

Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do
Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do

Ay, private jet, I swear
This ain’t a Bow Wow challenge, I swear
Pull up like, yeah
Hit the mall girl, go and get Chanel
Back up, girl, slow whine
Let’s have a good time
We gon’ hit the bed in due time

Dark shades with my shirt open
On point, keep me so focused
You the type that I could grow with
Girl, you the one, hope you notice it
And when it come to the game, I’m the dopest
Ain’t tryna rush, but you may be the closest
To the realest that I’ve seen in a while
Roll a plane, hold me down
Do my thing and you don’t trip
So you know that

Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do
Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do

Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby
So fine, could you be mine?
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby
To do, to do
Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do
Anything you want me to, you know I’ll do it
Oh, anything that you want me to do, to do

Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” Broke YouTube Record Now Most Streamed Video

Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth broke the YouTube record for the most streamed video on the video on the platform.

The video “See You Again” from the Fast 7 soundtrack received almost 2.9 billion views making it the most views for a single video in YouTube’s history. The title was previously held by PSY’s “Gangnam” style which at the time of his publication has 2,895,111,556 views. Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s song “See You Again” has 2,897,632,968 views at the time this story was posted.

The single “See You Again” is very catchy but the video didn’t have the same viral hit sensation as PSY’s “Gangnam” style. What drove “See You Again” was the fact that it was a soundtrack for the life of the late Paul Walker who death was a shocker to the massive Fast and Furious fan base. Wiz and Charlie Puth did a very good job putting this song together to closely match the theme of the Fast 7 movie.

I can throw the money with no problems
I can feel, with more money, more problems

This is your pilot, Captain EZ Wider

And I say that because
There’s some real ni**as in this plane, y’all
And I advise you not to bring any fake weed
Boof weed, bad weed, blunts, backwoods, frontwoods
Swisha sweets or Swisha sours on this plane
Make sure to have your seat belts tight and your weed rolled right
Cause we will begin busy on this plane y’all
It’s Weed airlines, where everybody flies high
And we gon ride in the rolling papers too in style
It’s gon be a smooth landing, y’all
Wiz Khalifa’s gon be right there waiting for y’all, I promise
Captain EZ Wider is gon get y’all there

Charlie Puth – See You Again Lyrics

(Intro-Charlie Puth)
#It’s been a long day, without you my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way, from where we began
Ooh I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again, when I see you again…

Wiz Khalifa
Damn who knew, all the planes we flew, good things we been through
That I’ll be standing right here talkin’ to you
About another path, I know we loved to hit the road and laugh
But suttin’ told me that it wouldn’t last, had to switch up
Look at things different see the bigger picture
Those were the days, hard work forever pays
Now I’ll see you in a better place
Uuuhh
How can we not talk about family when family’s all we got
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
And now you gon’ be with me for the last ride

Charie Puth
It’s been a long day, without you my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way, from where we began
Ooh I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again, when I see you again…
OOOOOOHHHH, OOOOOOOOHH WOOAAAHH,OOOOOUUUUU OOOOUUUUU….

Wiz Khalifa
First you both go out your way,and the vibe is feeling strong
And what’s small turn to a friendship, and that friendship turn to a bond
And that bond will never be broken, the love will never get lost…
And when brotherhood come first, then the line will never be crossed
Established it on our own, when that line had to be drawn
And that line is what we reach
So remember me when I’m gone
How can we not talk about family when family’s all we got
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
And now you gon’ be with me for the last ride…

Charlie Puth
So let the light guide your way, yeah
Hold every memory as you go
And every road you take, always lead you home, hoomme

It’s been a long day, without you my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way, from where we began
Ooh I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again, when I see you again…
OOOOOOHHHH, OOOOOOOOHH WOOAAAHH,OOOOOUUUUU OOOOUUUUU….
